所定位置に印字するラベルプリンタにおいて、 前記台紙にラベルが付着されたラベル紙を所定
の方向に移送する手段と、その移送されるラベル
紙に光を当てその通過光量または反射光量をアナ
ログ電圧に変換する光電変換手段と、そのアナロ
グ電圧をデジタル数に変換するアナログ/デジタ
ル変換手段と、予め少なくとも所定の電圧情報が
記憶された記憶装置と、前記ラベル紙の移送に伴
つて前記アナログ/デジタル変換手段から出力さ
れるデジタル数の変化幅が前記電圧情報より大き
いときに、前記ラベル紙のラベルが付着された部
分と台紙のみの部分の境、あるいはマーキング部
等の被検知部分と他の部分との境を検知したと判
断する判断手段とを備えたことを特徴とするラベ
ル位置検出装置。 2 請求項1記載のラベルプリンタにおけるラベ
ル位置検出装置であつて、 記憶装置に予め所定の電圧情報と時間情報が記
憶されており、判断手段が、前記デジタル数が前
記時間情報よりも長い時間の範囲内で前記電圧情
報より大きい数値の幅で変化したときに、ラベル
紙のラベルが付着された部分と台紙のみの部分の
境、あるいは被検知部分と他の部分との境を検知
したと判断する手段であることを特徴とするラベ
