Furthermore, since a water-soluble molding agent is applied after adhesion, it is necessary to apply the adhesive without gaps so that the molding agent does not penetrate into the adhesive surface. For this reason, if the time from application to bonding (hereinafter referred to as open time) is long, the adhesive strength will decrease. Methods such as reheating (arrow H in Figure 10) were used. However, if the amount of coating is large, it takes time to remelt. Further, the open time is about 15 seconds, and it is necessary to bond them together within about 10 seconds after heating is completed. Furthermore, if the adhesive has low viscosity, it will flow downward if there is a vertical portion on the bonding surface, reducing the adhesive effect by half. and,
If the adhesive strength is strong (adhesive layer of 0.1 to 0.2 cm or more), the flow of the molten metal may be impaired.

Each joint surface 12a, 13a is on one plane and is coated with silicone oil 14 or the like (water repellent). Then, an adhesive 15 is applied to the boundary line along this joint surface after the divided models 12 and 13 are pasted together. In this way, sufficient adhesion can be achieved without being affected by open time. Each segmented model is fixed with appropriate strength by the adhesive, and is stable even when molten metal is poured into it, without interfering with the flow.

The thickness of the water repellent agent may be less than 50 ml, so it does not provide resistance to thermal decomposition during leakage. Note that adhesive tape or the like may be used instead of adhesive.
