Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the workability of the title device and to efficiently and safely obtain a high-quality coating by connecting a coating agent can and an applicator to stably, continuously, and automatically supply the coating agent to the applicator. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle communicating with the opening and closing valve to be opened along with the operation and to inject the coating agent pressurized by compressed gas is provided to the can body 5 of the coating agent can 7 filled with the coating agent and compressed gas. One end of the coating agent passage 10 of the applicator 11 is allowed to communicate with the nozzle, and the other end is connected to a coating part 9 (e.g., roller). Since the coating agent can 7 and the applicator 11 are connected in this way, the coating agent in the can 7 is pressurized by the compressed gas, passed through the opening and closing valve and nozzle, and stably, continuously, and automatically supplied to the coating part 9 of the applicator 11 through the agent passage 10.

However, although these methods allow easy and inexpensive painting work, they have many problems. For example, in the former case, ■ Some of the sprayed paint scatters, causing damage to the surrounding environment. In addition to having a negative impact on health and safety, such as by causing contamination, it is also poor in workability, as it requires masking over a wide area of the surface to be painted.

This can lead to deterioration of the hiding properties of the paint film and cause the paint to sag or run off.
Therefore, multiple dilute coatings are required, resulting in a decrease in coating efficiency.

As described above, the coating device 1 of the present application can automatically supply a uniform and stable coating material to the surface of the coating section 9 continuously by operating the operation button 50, thereby eliminating the need for frequent coating, which is a disadvantage of conventional direct coating. It is possible to easily perform the impregnating work and the coating work of the product'ff uniformly and smoothly without causing any dripping of the paint, etc. Moreover, since the work can be done with one hand, it is possible to improve the safety of work at heights.

Furthermore, as in this example, the filtrated liquefied gas used as the pressurized gas 3 acts as a diluent that is mutually compatible with the filler coating material 2 in the can body 5, increasing its fluidity by reducing its viscosity. On the other hand, in the flow path of the paint flow path 10, the liquefied gas partially becomes bubbles as the internal pressure of the connection hose 59 decreases, thereby maintaining and improving its fluidity. Therefore, high viscosity and high solids content paints, which are extremely difficult to use with conventional spray systems, can be efficiently pumped out and pumped under low pressure. That's 100-150m7 per minute! This makes it possible to supply high-viscosity coating materials.

In addition, such liquefied gas has a length that completely evaporates into the atmosphere from the surface of the applicator, so there is no deterioration in the quality of the coated surface due to the formation of bubbles, and moreover, the coating material on the surface of the applicator is Because it returns to its original high viscosity state, - times of application is sufficient! 5! It is possible to obtain a greater thickness, greatly improve coating work efficiency, and prevent problems such as dripping or running of the paint on walls, ceilings, etc.

Furthermore, since the paint can 7 of the present application is of a type in which the paint 2 is extruded by the internal pressure of the pressurized gas 3, it cannot be used in the conventional spray type, which uses a jet of pressurized gas and requires large consumption of the gas. This makes it possible to use nonflammable vaporized gases such as chlorine gas and air, which were difficult to use, and can reduce production costs and improve safety.

Furthermore, the remaining 70% or more of the filled coating material 2 can be completely squeezed out using pressurized gas 3 with a capacity of 30% or less of the can volume, which increases the amount of coating material filled per can and improves economic efficiency. At the same time, the work of adding and replacing the paint can 7 is reduced and its usability is made convenient. In addition, when liquefied gas is used, the remaining coating material can be completely squeezed out using pressurized gas 3 of 5% or less based on the volume of the can, and the economical efficiency can be improved.

Since the inside of the paint can 7 is sealed during use, it can be stored without deterioration of the paint, and for long-term storage, for example, a gas can filled with only pressurized gas 3 can be prepared separately. It is preferable to squeeze out the coating material 2 remaining inside the applicator 11, and then wash and store it.

The operating valve 85 is connected to a partition wall 86 that partitions the upper piece 83A of the housing 83 and the empty space 82 into upper and lower small chambers 82A and 82B.
A valve portion 85B is expanded at the lower end of the base shaft 85A passing through the base shaft 85A, and a head 85C is protruded from the upper end. Also, operation valve 85
is biased upward by a spring piece 90 provided between the locking ring 89 attached to the base shaft 85A and the partition wall 86, and the valve portion 8
The electrical connection between the small chambers 82A and 82B can be cut by the pressure contact between the small chambers 5B and the partition wall 86. Furthermore, by forming a groove 1 in the base shaft 85A, the operation valve 85 can provide conduction between the small chambers 82A and 82B together with the push button of the head 85C.

In this example, as shown in FIG. 5(b), engaging pieces 93A and 93[3 are formed on the lower surface of the upper piece 83A and the circumferential surface of the base shaft 85A, so that the valve portion 85B is formed at the engaging position of the engaging pieces 93A and 93B. The valve portion 85B can be closed and the valve portion 85B can be held open in the non-meshing position by pressing or twisting the head 85C, making the applicator more convenient to use during continuous use of the first coating device. Further, other embodiments of the paint can 7 are shown in FIGS. 6(a-1) to ('b). In FIG. 6(a), a piston 96 is used, and in FIGS. 6(b) to (d), The paint can 7 has a double structure in which the paint 2 and the pressurized gas 3 are separated by a thin pressure container 97 made of synthetic resin, aluminum, etc. These double structures can be used upside down. In addition to making it possible and improving its usability,
It is possible to prevent the pressurized gas 3 from leaking to the outside, and it is possible to improve safety against ignition and the like. Further, FIG. 7 shows a case where the applicator 9 is a brush.
