、１０…冷却水入口孔、１４…冷却水量制御弁、
１６…過熱検出装置。
拡大図、第２図は水冷縦型四気筒エンジンの冷却
系を示す概略構成図、第３図はシリンダヘツドの

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 水冷縦型多気筒エンジンのシリンダヘツド７の
下壁に複数個の冷却水入口孔１０を分散させて開
口し、シリンダブロツク４のシリンダジヤケツト
６内の冷却水を各冷却水入口孔１０からシリンダ
ヘツド７のヘツドジヤケツト８に流入させるよう
に構成した水冷多気筒縦型エンジンのヘツド冷却
装置において、 シリンダヘツド７の過熱しやすい個所の近傍に
形成されている冷却水入口孔１０に対応させて冷
却水量制御弁１４を配置するとともに、その上壁
側部分に過熱検出装置１６を設け、シリンダヘツ
ド７の過熱しやすい個所が過熱しかけた状態下で
は、これを過熱検出装置１６が検出することに基
づき、冷却水量制御弁１４を開弁作動させて、シ
リンダジヤケツト６からシリンダヘツド７の過熱
しやすい個所への冷却水流入量を増加させるよう
に構成したことを特徴とする水冷縦型多気筒エン
ジンのヘツド冷却装置。
