Abstract

PURPOSE:To compactly set the length of the whole device and sharply improve productivity by providing two sets of sheet stacking tables in parallel and alternately using these tables. CONSTITUTION:Sheets 3 are conveyed by means of a conveying conveyor 6 one after another and hit against a front stopper 9 to stop an advancing force, and allowed to fall downward to be stacked on a table 7. As it is detected that a certain quantity of sheets 3 are stacked, the table 7 is lowered and the conveying conveyor is stopped to stop the feeding of the sheets 3. Then, by moving a bogie 24, the table 7 is moved out of a line while setting a table height, etc., to the initial condition, another sheet stacking table on standby is set in position on the manufacture line, and the conveying conveyor 6 is made travel to start the feeding and stacking of the sheets 3 in store. Hence, the stacking operation can be continued merely by changing the position of both tables, enabling the whole device to be compactly set while increasing the efficiency of a sheet stacking process to sharply improve productivity.

A conventional sheet stacking device will be explained with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6. The corrugated paperboard web 1 that is continuously produced in the previous process is longitudinally cut into several lengths along the traveling direction, and then cut into predetermined lengths in the width direction at cutoffs 2 to form corrugated paperboards 7 and receipts 3. The sheets 3 are discharged from the cut-off exit conveyor 4 to the shingling conveyor 5, which is operated at a slower speed than the conveyor 4, and are stacked in the shape of roof tiles. It is discharged onto T. The discharged sheets 3 hit the front plate 9 and fall downward, and are stacked on the sheet stacking table 7. The upper end level of the sheets stacked on the tape holder 7 is detected by a group of phototubes 8, and the elevation of the table 7 is controlled so that the height from the conveyor 6 is approximately constant.

A method has also been proposed in which the stopping accuracy is controlled so that sheets can be stacked while always maintaining the best height. Reference numeral 11 in the drawing indicates a limit switch that operates to lower the tape/I/7 and stop the drive of the table, etc. After a predetermined amount of sheets 3 have been stacked, the tape/v7 is reset in the following procedure. Sheet 8 as shown in Figure 6(a)
are stacked, tape Lv7 is lowered, and when a predetermined amount is reached, limit switch 11 is activated and tape L/7 is lowered.

The time required for discharging the sheet from the table, raising the table, and supplying the next corrugated sheet was a great deal. For this reason, the number of sheets that can be stacked within a unit time is limited, which has a direct effect on reducing the production line speed (production amount) of corrugated pole sheets. Also, discharge of stacked sheets.

In order to take the time required to reset the table and to stock the sheets that have been discharged one after another in the previous process, it was necessary to use a shimbling conveyor, transport conveyor, etc. that is quite long in the direction of travel.

The sheet stacking device of this embodiment has two sheets on one cart 24.
A table 7.7' is attached to the upper end of the piston of each hydraulic cylinder 25.25; The cart 24 moves on a rail 26 laid out on the floor at right angles to the conveyance direction of the conveyor 6. Each hydraulic cylinder 25.25' has a solenoid pulp 21, 2
1'. The phototube group 8 and the limit switch 11 are provided in the same manner as before, and the output of the phototube group 8 is sent to the controller 22, which operates the solenoid 20.20' of the solenoid valve 21.21' to close the tape/L. Controls the movement of /7°7/. Note 2
In the figure, A indicates the center position of the conveyor 6, which is hereinafter referred to as a production line. Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the sheets 3 are sequentially conveyed by the conveyor comparer, and the forward force of the sheets is stopped by the front stopper 9.
It falls downward and is stacked on tape/l/7. The stacking head (a) of sheet 3 is:

It is detected by a group of phototubes 8 installed on the side with respect to the traveling direction, and a signal corresponding to the light blocking state of each phototube is sent to the controller 22 to operate the solenoid 20. Since the piston g movement m of the cylinder 25 and the opening amount of the solenoid that controls the speed are finely adjusted depending on the light shielding state of the phototube group, the head of the sheet supply section can always be set in a stable state. In the figure, reference numeral 11 indicates a limit switch which detects when the table 7 is lowered and a predetermined amount of sheets 3 are stacked, and stops the lowering of the table 7 and the running of the conveyor 6 as shown in FIG. 8(a). 8

is installed at a predetermined position on the production line, and the conveyor 6 is run to start supplying and stacking the sheets 3 in stock. During this time, the stacked sheets on the table 7 transferred outside the line are discharged by the discharge conveyor 27' as shown in FIG. 8(C), and furthermore, as shown in FIG.

As explained above, according to the sheet stacking device of the present invention, while one table is in use, the other table can be set, and the sheet stacking operation can be continued simply by changing the position of one table. The overall length of the device can be set compactly, such as by being able to set it short. Furthermore, by improving the efficiency of the sheet stacking process, which has been a bottleneck due to production efficiency issues, a significant improvement in productivity can be achieved.
