Figure 1 shows the appearance of the electric motor. As shown in the figure, generally, a large number of cooling fins 1a extending in the axial direction are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the frame 1, and the cooling fins 1a are integrally formed with the frame 1 by casting. During this casting, two cylindrical wooden molds (not shown) are used, and the abutting portions of the wooden molds are located at the positions indicated by the dashed lines in the figure. Note that the reference numeral 2 in the figure is a fan cover.

However, in the prior art as described above, the cooling air coming out of the fan cover 2 only flows around the outer periphery of the frame 1 along the cooling fins 1a, so there is a limit to the cooling capacity. In addition, if the alignment of the wooden molds is misaligned, please refer to the second
As can be seen from the figure, the abutment between the cooling fin 1a located on the right side and the cooling fin 1a located on the left side was also misaligned, resulting in large cast burrs. The appearance of such casting burrs was poor, and it was necessary to cut them off, which was time-consuming.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a rotating electrical machine that increases cooling capacity and eliminates work caused by burrs. The configuration of the present invention that achieves this object is as follows: A rotating electric machine having a frame 1, wherein the frame 1 is integrally formed with a plurality of cooling fins 1a extending in the axial direction on its outer peripheral surface, and the above-mentioned. The frame 1 is formed by a mold in which a pair of cylindrical molds are butted against each other in the axial direction, and one portion of the cooling fin 1a corresponding to the abutting portion of the cylindrical molds is formed by the cooling fin 1a. It is characterized by being formed into a convex portion 1b that is wider and higher than other portions.

Figures 3a and b relate to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3a is an enlarged view of the main part thereof, and Figure 3b is B of Figure 3a.
-B sectional view. As shown in both figures, the portion of the cooling fin 1a corresponding to the abutting part of the wooden mold on the left side in the figure (one part corresponding to the abutting part of the cylindrical wooden mold) is different from the cooling fin 1a. The convex portion 1b is wider and higher than the portion . The "other parts" here refer to the remaining part corresponding to the wooden mold on the left side in the figure, excluding the part corresponding to the abutting part, and the part corresponding to the wooden mold on the right side. This is the combined part. Therefore, fan cover 2
The cooling air that comes out of the frame 1 and flows along the cooling fins 1a along the outer circumferential surface of the frame 1 collides with the convex portions 1b and becomes a turbulent flow, thereby improving heat conduction and increasing cooling capacity. In addition, since the convex portion 1b is wide and high, the convex portion 1b and the cooling fin 1a located on the right side
Even if the butts are misaligned, the appearance will not be affected much. Therefore, cutting work can be omitted.
