接する給紙ローラと、前記用紙カセツトから取出
された用紙を記録部等の処理部へ案内する用紙ガ
イドとを備え、前記給紙ローラを駆動することに
よつて、前記用紙カセツトの爪で前記最上位の用
紙をその下位の用紙から分離して前記用紙ガイド
へ送給させる給紙装置において、前記用紙ガイド
を、ベースプレートの上面に用紙進行方向に沿つ
て延びる３本以上のガイドリブを立設して構成す
るとともに、前記爪に対向する側部ガイドリブの
高さを中央部のガイドリブの高さより低くしたこ
とを特徴とする給紙装置。 (2) 上隅部に爪を有する用紙カセツトと、該用
紙カセツトに収容された用紙の最上位の用紙に当
接する給紙ローラと、前記用紙カセツトから取出
された用紙を記録部等の処理部へ案内する用紙ガ
イドとを備え、前記給紙ローラを駆動することに
よつて、前記用紙カセツトの爪で前記最上位の用
紙をその下位の用紙から分離して前記用紙ガイド
へ送給させる給紙装置において、前記用紙ガイド
を、ベースプレートの上面に用紙進行方向に沿つ
て延びる３本以上のガイドリブを立設して構成す
るとともに、前記爪に対向する端部ガイドリブを
前記用紙カセツトに近付くに従つて相隣るガイド
リブに接近するように形成したことを特徴とする
