Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate a constant voltage by installing a dimmer on a solar cell. CONSTITUTION:A function (a dimmer) 2 to adjust an amount of light which is incident on a solar cell 1 is installed on a substance (the solar cell) 1 which converts optical energy into electric energy. For example, a liquid crystal shutter 2 as a dimmer is installed on an incident face of the solar cell 1. The liquid crystal shutter 2 is controlled in the following manner: i,e., the liquid crystal shutter 2 is opened fully in a state that no light is incident on the shutter 2. When light is incident on the shutter, an amount enough to close the shutter is changed in accordance with an output voltage from the solar cell 1 in such a way that the output voltage becomes constant. By this setup, it is possible to generate a constant voltage irrespective of a change in an amount of incident light.

し、定電圧発生を可能にすることを目的とする。

にすることにより、定電圧発生をする。
