Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the rooting in a pot and to reduce uneven growth, by raising seedling while cutting the root extended into the ground through a hole opened on the bottom plate of a raising seedling box in the course of raising. CONSTITUTION:A protruded plate having a protrusion for forming a sowing hole is placed on the reverse face of a raising seedling box 1, a bed soil is filled in each raising seedling pot 2, a raising seedling box 4 is placed on the pot and the assembly is turned upside down. The protruded plate is removed, a seed is sowed in a sowing hole formed in the raising seedling pot 2 with the protrusion, covered with covering soil and joint soil 10, sprinkled with water and placed on the ground together with the raising seedling box 4 to effect the raising of seedling. When the root of the seedling begins to extend into the ground through the hole 4a of the raising seedling box, the extending root 13 is cut off once or several times during the growth and before transplantation.

Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention Conventionally, seeds are sown and watered in a seedling box with holes in the bottom through which the roots of the seedlings can pass, filled with bed soil, and then the seedling box is placed on the ground to raise the seedlings. There was a method for raising rice seedlings, but in this rice seedling raising box, the bed soil is packed as it is and the seeds are sown in an overcrowded state. Even if the seedlings grew by absorbing the nutrients inside, only some of the seedlings grew larger, and the color of the seedlings grew so bad that it would interfere with transplantation. When planting and raising seedlings by placing a pot-shaped seedling container in a seedling box and filling each pot with bed soil, the amount of bed soil is small, so the nutrients during seedling raising are absorbed into the nutrients in the ground. The seedlings are dependent on each other and their roots quickly grow into the ground, resulting in very strong growth spots. Otherwise, if the transplanting period is adjusted to suit large seedlings, the growth of small seedlings after transplanting will be delayed, resulting in a poor harvest. Conversely, if the transplanting period is adjusted to be suitable for small seedlings, the leaves and stems of large seedlings will be seriously damaged. There was a problem that it became difficult to carry out accurate transplantation.

A germination hole 3 is formed in the bottom of the seedling growing pot 2, and the four upper edges of each seedling growing pot are integrally connected to each other to form a rectangular seedling growing device 1 as a whole.
A board 5 with protrusions 5 having protrusions 5atr for forming seeding holes that protrudes into the germination hole of each seedling raising pot is laid on the back side of the seedling raising pot, and a bed ±6 is filled in each seedling raising pot, and the seedling raising box 4 is placed over it. After that, turn it upside down, remove the upper protruding board 5, sow the seeds 8 in the seeding hole 7 created in the seedling raising pot 2 using the protrusions 5a, and Put in the covering soil 9 to fill the inside of the seedling hole 7 and the top layer 10 to fill between each seedling raising pot at the same time, water from above, place the whole seedling raising box on the ground to raise the seedlings, and make sure that the roots of the seedlings come through the hole 4a of the seedling raising box. The seedling-raising method involves cutting the roots 13 extending into the ground from the hole 4a of the seedling-raising box once or several times during the growing stage before transplanting.

Functions and Effects of the Invention This invention cuts the roots that come out from the holes drilled in the bottom of the seedling box and absorb nutrients from the ground during seedling raising.
In order to continue raising seedlings, we damage the seedlings that try to grow faster by first reaching the ground, slowing down their growth, and preventing them from absorbing the nutrients in the pot, encouraging rooting inside the pot and causing growth spots. It is possible to raise seedlings with less.

Thereafter, as shown in Fig. 9, a predetermined amount of bed soil is uniformly poured from above the seedling raising pot 1, and the germination hole 3 and sowing hole 7 are filled with bed soil to cover the seedling pot 9. At the same time, each seedling raising pot 2 ,2...
Fill with 10 pieces of soil in between. Then, when watering from above, the bed soil that accumulates on the seedling pot 2,
It flows into the valley of No. 2 and joins No. 10, resulting in the state shown in Fig. 10. This is placed on the ground 11 in a place 11 or a field, and the seedlings are raised and managed by occasionally watering from above. Then, the seeds germinate and begin to grow from the germination hole 3 of the seedling growing pot 2, and the roots grow inside the seedling growing pot 2, and as shown in FIG.
It comes out from a, extends to the ground 11, absorbs nutrients in the ground, and tries to grow. At this point, scrape the back of the seedling nursery box 4 with a root cutting tool 12 such as a knife or thin wire, and
The roots 13 extending into the seedlings 1 are cut and placed on the ground 11 again as shown in FIG. 11 for seedling raising management. By doing this, the growth of the seedlings whose roots 13 have been cut will temporarily stagnate, and the growth of the seedlings whose roots have not descended to the ground due to slow growth will continue to grow. The number of growth spots decreases.

In this way, when seedlings without growth spots are transplanted using a transplanter, the appropriate transplanting period for the seedlings in any seedling pot is aligned, so the seedlings can be transplanted at the appropriate time without damaging the seedlings.
