Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent paint mists from being scattered to the outside of a coating hood by constituting the coating hood wherein a frame having elasticity is fitted to the peripheral edge of an aperture part so that it can be oscillated. CONSTITUTION:The title coater is constituted of both a trestle A which is hung from the roof of a building so that it can be vertically moved and a coater B which is hung so that this can be moved to the right and left directions for the trestle A. Means 6, 7 for moving the coater B right and left, a guide rail 10 for guiding its transfer and a trestle positioning device 50 which is fitted to a guide groove 30 provided to the external wall surface of the building are provided to the trestle A respectively. Further both a moving means A by which a coating hood 2 provided with a spray gun 23 inside is moved to the direction orthogonal for the external wall surface and an oscillating means 24 for turning the hood 2 right and left are provided to the coater B. Further more a frame consisting of an elastic body is fitted to the peripheral edge of an aperture part facing the external wall surface of the hood 2. As a result, paint mists can be prevented from being scattered to the outside of the coating hood.

This paint hood is equipped with flat rollers and auxiliary rollers on the upper and lower edges of the painting hood facing the external wall surface, and side rollers on the left and right edges that can automatically advance and retreat according to the shape of the wall surface. Automatic painting is performed by moving the paint mist in the left and right directions along the shape of the wall while keeping it in close contact with the wall to prevent paint mist from scattering. As each of the rollers mentioned above is made of a flexible elastic material, it has good adhesion to the wall. It had an excellent structure and was capable of extremely smooth lateral movement.

However, although this conventional automatic painting device has the feature of being able to perform automatic painting continuously in the horizontal direction, the rollers are pressed against the painted wall surface and rotate in a bent state. The quality of the painted surface deteriorates significantly, making it difficult to ensure a satisfactory painted surface, and the roller, which is a flexible elastic body, wears out due to repeated use, resulting in insufficient sealing of the gap between the roller and the wall surface. There was a problem that scattering of paint mist could not be sufficiently prevented.

Since the automatic painting device is configured as described above, during work, this device engages the mount positioning device installed on the mount with the guide groove arranged on the outer wall of the building, suspends it from the roof of the building, and paints. Stop moving up and down when you face the wall you want to move. Next, the painting hood of the painting device suspended from the mount is moved laterally on the guide rail by a moving means so as to face the position where painting of the wall surface is to be started, and furthermore, a moving means is used to move the painting hood closer to the wall surface. to advance in a direction perpendicular to the wall. At this time, if the outer wall surface is made up of a folded surface, for example, when the folded hood is unfolded, the painting hood is rotated from side to side by the swinging means and moved forward while facing the folded wall surface. A frame provided around the periphery of the opening is brought into pressure contact with the wall surface. When the wall is then painted with a spray gun installed in the paint hood, the flexible and elastic frame bends due to pressure contact and adheres closely to the wall, sealing the gap between the wall and the paint hood, allowing the paint mist to spread out. Prevents paint from scattering outside the hood.

In this way, when the painting of one folded surface is completed, the coating hood is moved back by the advance/retreat means, and the coating hood is moved left and right by the swinging means so as to face the next folded surface.
Thereafter, the frame body is moved forward again by the advancing and retreating means to press the frame body against the wall surface which is the next folding surface, and painting is performed.

The locate bracket 18 and the fixing bracket 21 are respectively engaged in the guide groove 30 (see FIG. 5). In this state, when the locate actuator 19 is actuated and rotated in the direction of arrow a (FIG. 4), the locate brackets 18 and 18 move in a direction where the distance between them becomes narrower, and their tips touch the inner wall of the guide groove 30. Press at a specified pressure. Since the rods 20 and 20 have the same length and the locate actuator 19 is provided at the center of the pedestal A in the width direction, the center between the guide grooves 30 and 30 coincides with the center of the pedestal A in the width direction. Next, the fixing actuator is activated, and the fixing bracket 21.21 moves in the opposite direction to the locating bracket 18.18, pressing the inner wall of the guide groove 30 with strong pressure. In this state, frame A

For example, as shown in Figure 10, to make it face directly to side A,
The hood swinging cylinder 24 is driven to the state shown in FIG. Next, the hood advancement/retraction motor 4 is driven to advance the hood 2 toward the wall surface, and the frame 2a provided around the four peripheries of the hood opening is brought into contact with the A side. The distance that the hood 2 should move forward at this time is controlled by the detection signal from the distance sensor 16.

Next, the hood 2 is moved laterally on the A side by a combination of the operations of the hood advancement/retraction motor 4 and the hood lateral movement motor 6, and when the painting of the A side at the gantry A stop position is completed, the hood 2 is moved back and The angle with respect to the wall surface is set to the state shown in FIG. 10 (B), and then the hood 2 is made to directly face the surface B using the swinging cylinder 24, and the hood 2 is set to the state shown in FIG. 10 (C), and painting is performed in the same manner as described above.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained. (1) As in conventional mist scattering prevention coating using a hood composed of a combination of various rollers,
No significant deterioration of the quality of the painted surface due to the moving rollers occurs. (2) It is possible to maintain the airtightness of the hood against a wall surface with significant irregularities, and to achieve uniformity in painting the irregular surface, which is similar to manual labor. (3) Areas to be excluded from painting, such as windows and louvers, can be identified by a control device using distance sensors, etc., so there is no need to perform curing work in advance as in the past, shortening the process.

Cost reduction can be achieved. (4) Since scattering of paint mist can be prevented, paint loss can be significantly reduced and environmental pollution can be prevented. (5) Since it is equipped with a carrier fixing device, automatic painting is possible in strong wind environments, and there is no need for workers to ride along with the carrier, making it possible to maintain safety and privacy in hotels, condominiums, etc.
