Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the delivery and wind back of a cable with a simple structure by winding the middle part of a cable between a moving object and a fixed device several times around two reels of which shafts are closely/ separably provided in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A cable 13 is installed between a moving object 12 and a fixed device 11, via a draw-out/wind-back device A. In the device A, a reel 19 is rotatably installed on a case body 15 via a shaft 16, and a reel 20 which gives a defined tensile force to the cable 13 by its own weight or by means of weights 21 is provided on the lower part of the reel 19, and a shaft 18 which is parallel to the shaft 16 is lifted up/down along the grooves of the guide grooves 17. The middle part of the cable 13 is wound plural times around the reels 19 and 20. Thereby, the cable 13 can be smoothly delivered and wound in with a simple structure. The device is also suitable for such a cable as an optical cable for signals.

In the above-mentioned conventional technology, the optical rotary joint method aligns the end face of the optical cable wound around the cable drum with the center of rotation of the drum, and the end face of the optical cable from the light source or receiver on the fixed side is aligned with the end face of the optical cable on the drum side. Since the opposing optical joints are configured, it is necessary to accurately match the positions of the end faces of the opposing optical cables, and only one optical fiber can transmit light. In addition, a mechanism is required to control the rotational speed of the cable drum according to the amount of pull-out and winding of the optical cable to prevent the optical cable from becoming slack or applying more tension than necessary to the optical cable.

Further, although the optical cable mainspring method allows the optical cable to be pulled out and rewinded without using an optical rotary joint, a cable drum rotation speed control device is also required in the case of rewinding. In addition, in the case of power transmission cables, the rotational speed of the cable drum must be controlled, and a slip ring for power transmission is required at the rotating part, among other problems.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a drawer rewinding device in which multi-stage reels that freely rotate about substantially parallel axes are arranged between a fixing device and a moving object so as to be able to move toward and away from each other. The intermediate portion of the cable is wound around both multi-stage reels a plurality of times, and tension applying means is further provided for applying appropriate tension to the cable between both multi-stage reels.

Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, when the moving object moves away from the fixing device, the cable is pulled out from the pull-out rewind device, but at this time both multi-stage reels of the pull-out rewind device approach each other.

The cable 13 is drawn into the frame 15 through openings on both sides of the frame 15 and connected to upper and lower multi-stage reels 19 and 20.

In the above embodiment, when the moving object 12 approaches the device A, the cable 13 is drawn into the frame 15 and wound between the upper and lower multi-stage reels 19, 20, and the lower multi-stage reel 20 is lowered. Therefore, an appropriate tension is applied to the cable 13 between the upper and lower multi-stage reels 19 and 20, and the cable 13 does not become loose.

Further, when the moving object 12 moves away from the device A, the cable 13 is pulled out from the device A, but at this time, the lower multi-stage reel 20 rises, so there is no fear that a large tension will be applied to the cable 13.

In the above embodiment, one multi-stage reel 19 is in an upper fixed position, and the lower multi-stage reel 20 is movable up and down. However, the interlocking mechanism allows the upper and lower multi-stage reels 19 and 20 to move toward or away from each other at the same time. In some cases, a spring or the like is used as a tension applying means instead of a weight.

As described above, this invention provides a pull-out rewinding device in which multi-stage reels that freely rotate about substantially parallel axes are arranged between a fixing device and a moving object so as to be able to move toward and away from each other. Since the intermediate portion of the cable is wound a plurality of times and is further provided with tension applying means for applying appropriate tension to the cable between both multi-stage reels, a rotary joint or a slip ring is not required.
Since there is no need for speed control, the structure is simple and sufficient drawer and unwinding can be performed. Further, when a weight is used as the tension applying means, there is an effect that the tension applied to the cable is always constant regardless of the amount of pull-out and rewinding.
