光を受光する受光素子および光源と受光素子間に
配置されるレンズ光学系を有する検出部と、受光
素子上の前記被測定対象物の影から前記被測定対
象物の外形寸法を演算する寸法演算手段とを備え
た寸法測定装置において、前記受光素子の出力に
基づいて前記レンズ光学系の光軸と前記被測定対
象物の軸心とのずれ量を演算するずれ量演算手段
と、この演算結果に基づいて被測定対象物と検出
部とを相対移動させて軸合せを行う駆動制御手段
