Claims

A support means for vertically tiltably supporting a leg support disposed at a front part of a seat cushion of an automobile seat; and an inclination angle fixing means for fixing the leg support at a predetermined inclination. A support structure for a leg support body of an automobile seat, wherein the support means has a substantially U-shaped torsion bar consisting of a pair of opposite sides and a connecting side connecting these sides, and the connecting side of the torsion bar can be rotated. The torsion bar is integrated with the leg support, and the center portion of the connecting side thereof is bent inwardly into a substantially U-shape, and the torsion bar is integrated with the leg support. The angle fixing means is provided with a connecting member having clamping pieces arranged vertically to face each other, and the bent part of the torsion bar is inserted between some of the clamping pieces of this connecting member, and the bent part of the torsion bar is inserted into the recess of this bent part.
