Abstract

PURPOSE:To collect floating substances such as wood chips, dust, oil, etc., or soil deposits by providing a hook-shaped stagnating corner in the river or river mouth. CONSTITUTION:A number of hook-shaped stagnating corners A are formed in the river or its mouth by using sheet pile, caisson revetment, float fence, etc. Wood chips, dust, oil, etc., as floating substances or soil deposits flowing down the stream of river water can thus be collected into the corners by means of swirl flow formed by the stagnating corners A.

[Detailed description of the invention] The invention relates to a method for collecting floating matter in rivers and rivers that have stagnant parts at their mouths. Rivers are used to collect floating matter such as wood chips, garbage, oil, etc., and sedimentation of sediment, etc. from the upstream. They brought in large amounts of materials and caused them to settle in the downstream areas of rivers, and floating materials were discharged onto marine vessels. As a result, there were problems such as floating objects flowing into the river, spoiling the river's aesthetic appearance, and sediments accumulating in bays and other areas. In addition, floating matter and sediment that flowed into the ocean caused pollution of the ocean and other areas.

That is, the invention is a method for collecting floating matter, etc., characterized by providing a stagnation part in a river and/or an estuary.

次に不発明を図面を参照しながら説明する。Next, the invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a stagnation area Aftf# outside the river mouth. This stagnation area A is constructed in the form of sheet piles, caisson revetments, float fences, etc., for example.

When the stagnation part A is provided in this manner, floating objects and the like that have flown down with the flow of the river are collected in the stagnation part A by the vortex generated in the stagnation part A. This stagnation part A is arranged in a vertical column as shown in FIG. ! The effect is further improved by providing several locations.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, a submerged embankment 1 is provided on the upstream side of the stagnation part A. By providing the submerged embankment 1 in this manner, the flow velocity of the river can be reduced, so that even floating objects in the central part of the river can be collected in the stagnation part A.

The stagnation area A in the uninvented method may be created by excavating the estuary part as shown in FIG. The stagnation portion A' may be provided continuously. The effect is improved by providing the submerged embankment 1 at the river mouth outlet and the stagnation area where the flow width is narrow.

In addition, in the method of the present invention, by providing a stagnation part A in a curved area of the river, it is possible to use water flow to collect floating objects, etc. that have flowed down in the stagnation part A in the same way as described above. Further water pipes 2 are installed in each stagnation area.
By installing the drainage part of the water conduit 2 on the downstream side of the river, the water in the stagnation part A is drained downstream through the water conduit 2, thereby transforming the flow of the river in the direction of the stagnation part A. This makes it possible to collect more floating matter in the stagnation part A. It will also be easier to supply fresh water to seawalls and trees.
