Claims (11)
- 複数のバッテリーセルと、
複数の前記バッテリーセルを収容するモジュールケースと、
を含むバッテリーモジュールであって、
前記モジュールケースは、複数の前記バッテリーセルの上部に位置決めされる上板部と、複数の前記バッテリーセルの下部に位置決めされる下板部とを含み、前記上板部及び前記下板部それぞれが、冷却水が流れる流路を有しており、
前記上板部及び前記下板部は、複数の前記バッテリーセルと接触した第1プレートにおいて加熱された場合に溶融するメルティングスポットを備え、
前記上板部は、前記第1プレートと対向する第2プレートに、ガスを外部に放出可能なガス抜き口と、前記ガス抜き口を密封するように構成されていると共に熱溶融可能な材料から形成された第1封口キャップと、を備えることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記ガス抜き口が、メッシュ構造で設けられたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ガス抜き口が、前記流路に沿った前記第2プレートの領域に亘って形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記上板部及び前記下板部は、前記第1プレートと前記第2プレートとの間に流路を具備するヒートシンクを構成していることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記ヒートシンクは、アルミニウムから作られている前記第1プレート及び前記第2プレートを含んでいること、またはアルミニウムから作られている前記第1プレートとスチールから作られている前記第2プレートとの異種材料接合によって形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記メルティングスポットは、前記上板部に設けられる第1メルティングスポット及び前記下板部に設けられる第2メルティングスポットを含み、
前記第1メルティングスポット及び前記第2メルティングスポットが、少なくとも一つの前記バッテリーセルが前記第1メルティングスポットと前記第2メルティングスポットとの間に挿置された状態で、上下対称の位置に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記メルティングスポットは、前記第1プレートの厚さ方向に形成された貫通口と、前記貫通口を密封するように構成されていると共に熱溶融可能な材料から形成された第2封口キャップと、を含んでおり、
前記貫通口と前記第2封口キャップとが、前記流路に沿って所定の間隔毎に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記第2封口キャップは、
前記貫通口に配置される本体と、
前記第1プレートの上面及び下面を囲むように前記本体の上端及び下端から各々水平へ延びている上部フランジ及び下部フランジと、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記上部フランジ及び前記下部フランジは、互いに対向する方向へ突出した一つ以上の突起を備え、
前記第1プレートは、前記突起と係合する形状の溝部を備えることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記突起は、三角形状、台形状、四角形状、及び半円形状のいずれか一つの断面形状を有することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを一つ以上含む、バッテリーパック。
