Description

In recent years, telecommuting, where work is done from home, has become more common as a working style. Patent Document 1 discloses a house equipped with a work room for working at home. The present invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its main objective is to provide a home that allows people to pay attention to their surroundings and easily concentrate on their work when working in the workroom.

To solve the above problem, the first invention is a house equipped with a work room for carrying out work, the work room being located at a corner of the house, the four walls surrounding the work room on all four sides including two exterior walls separating the work room from the outdoors and two partition walls separating the work room from the adjacent room, the two partition walls having an opening formed across both of the partition walls, and a window panel that is L-shaped in plan view and allows the work room to be seen into the adjacent room is fitted into the opening.

In this embodiment, the house is a modular house constructed by combining multiple building units. The building units are formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape with pillars, ceiling girders, and floor girders, and are manufactured in advance at a manufacturing factory. In modular buildings, each building unit manufactured at the manufacturing factory is transported by truck to a construction site, where each transported building unit is installed in a predetermined installation position to construct the house. In this case, the living room 13a, the dining room 13b, and the kitchen 13c are lined up in an L-shape in a plan view, so the LDK13 is formed in an L-shape in a plan view. A sofa 23 is provided in the living room 13a, and a dining table 24 is provided in the dining room 13b.

The living room 13a is located on the south side of the house 10 and is separated from the outdoors by a south-side exterior wall 25. The kitchen 13c is located on the west side of the house 10 and is separated from the outdoors by a west-side exterior wall 26. A work room 19 is located south of the kitchen 13c and west of the living room 13a. The work room 19 is a room where the resident can work, and will be described in detail later. The LDK 13 corresponds to the "next room" adjacent to the work room 19.

The pantry 18 is adjacent to the north side of the kitchen 13c. The pantry 18 is equipped with storage shelves for storing food and other items. Between the pantry 18 and the kitchen 13c, there is an entrance/exit 27 that connects the two spaces 13c, 18. Access between the pantry 18 and the kitchen 13c is possible through this entrance/exit 27.

The washroom 15 is adjacent to the north side of the pantry 18. The washroom 15 is equipped with a sink 31 and a washing machine 32. The Japanese-style room 14 is located adjacent to the dining room 13b on the east side. A whole-house air conditioning system 40 is installed on the first floor of the house 10. The air conditioning system 40 is a system that uses a common air conditioning device 41 to collectively condition multiple indoor spaces. An opening 54 that is L-shaped in plan view is formed between the two partition wall sections 47, 48. A window panel 55 that is L-shaped in plan view is provided in this opening 54. The window panel 55 is formed by fitting multiple glass panels 55b into an L-shaped window frame 55a. The window panel 55 is attached in a fitted state into the opening 54, forming a so-called fixed window.

The window panel 55 has a first panel portion 56 provided on the partition wall portion 47 and a second panel portion 57 provided on the partition wall portion 48. The first panel portion 56 and the second panel portion 57 are at right angles to each other. In this case, the width direction of the first panel portion 56 is the same as the width direction of the partition wall portion 47, and the width direction of the second panel portion 57 is the same as the width direction of the partition wall portion 48. The width of the first panel portion 56 is larger than the width of the second panel portion 57, and more specifically, the width of the first panel portion 56 is more than twice the width of the second panel portion 57.

In the work room 19, a desk 61 is provided against the wall of the partition wall 47. The desk 61 is made of a rectangular wooden flat plate extending in the width direction of the partition wall 47. The desk 61 is provided so as to span the opposing outer wall 25 and partition wall 48, with both ends fixed to each of the walls 25, 48. The desk 61 is therefore a wall-mounted desk attached to each of the walls 25, 48. The front door 81 and the front door hall 82 are continuous in the north-south direction, with the front door 81 located on the south side and the front door hall 82 on the north side.

LDK83 is located in the center of the house 80 in the east-west direction. LDK83 is formed by a living room 83a, a dining room 83b, and a kitchen 83c lined up in a row in the north-south direction. The living room 83a, the dining room 83b, and the kitchen 83c are lined up in this order from the north to the south. The entrance hall 82 is adjacent to the west side of the dining room 83b. The dining room 83b and the entrance hall 82 form a continuous space that is continuous with each other.

The work room 88 is located in the northwest corner of the house 80. The work room 88 is adjacent to the LDK 83 (specifically the kitchen 83c) on its east side, and adjacent to the entrance hall 82 on its south side. Two exterior walls 91, 92 and two partition walls 93, 94 are provided on all four sides of the work room 88. The work room 88 is surrounded on all four sides by these walls 91-94. In this case, of the two partition walls 93, 94, the partition wall 93 extending in the east-west direction separates the work room 88 from the entrance hall 82, and the partition wall 94 extending in the north-south direction separates the work room 88 from the LDK 83 (kitchen 83c).

An L-shaped window panel 95 is attached to each partition wall portion 93, 94, spanning both partition wall portions 93, 94. The window panel 95 has a first panel portion 96 provided on the partition wall portion 93 and a second panel portion 97 provided on the partition wall portion 94. In the work room 88, a desk 99 is installed against the wall of the partition wall portion 93. In this case, in a plan view, the first panel portion 96 is located in front of the desk 99, and the second panel portion 97 is located to the side of the desk 99.

According to the above configuration, while working at the desk 99, the front entrance hall 82 and entrance 81 can be viewed through the window panel 95 (first panel portion 96). This makes it possible to work while paying attention to children returning home or visitors. In addition, since the LDK 83 can be viewed through the window panel 95, it is possible to pay attention to residents (e.g. children) in the LDK 83 while working. In addition, since the kitchen 83c on the side can be viewed through the second panel portion 97, when working while cooking, etc., the kitchen 83c can be paid attention to.
