Description

The present invention relates to a support structure used in assembling a structure and a partition panel device using the support structure.

In stores and offices, partition panel devices that divide spaces, product display shelves, bookshelves, and other fixtures are used. These structures can be installed anywhere in the room by assembling various components such as panels and shelves to supports that are erected on the floor. Because such supports require structural strength, it is difficult to construct them from a single component, and they are generally constructed by combining two components.

The partition panel device as a structure shown in Patent Document 1 includes a number of support posts erected between the floor and the ceiling, and a panel body arranged on the front and back between adjacent support posts, and the support posts are constructed by assembling a pair of components. Each component is formed by bending a single metal plate, and has a flat plane portion and a pair of bulges formed by bending both ends of the plane portion into a cross section of a roughly U-shape, forming a roughly H-shape when viewed from above. The plane portion of one component has a cut-and-raised piece cut and raised in a roughly L-shape facing upward toward the other component, and a cut-and-raised hole formed therein. The plane portion of the other component has a cut-and-raised piece cut and raised in a roughly L-shape facing downward toward the one component, and a cut-and-raised hole formed therein.

The pair of components are connected together by overlapping the flat surfaces of each other and inserting the cut-and-raised pieces into the opposing cut-and-raised holes and engaging the edges of the cut-and-raised pieces.

In the support structure of Patent Document 1, a pair of components can be connected using cut-and-raised pieces and cut-and-raised holes, so connecting members such as bolts and nuts are not required and the support can be easily assembled. However, because the structure connects the flat surfaces of a pair of components, there is a risk that the strength against twisting and bending may be insufficient.

The present invention was developed to address these problems, and aims to provide a high-strength support structure and a partition panel device that uses the support structure.

In order to solve the above problems, the support structure of the present invention comprises:
The device includes a pair of nested components extending in the vertical direction and having a horizontal cross section that is substantially U-shaped,
In a support structure in which the pair of components are assembled in a horizontal cross-sectional shape having an overlapping portion in a rectangular shape, the pair of components are fixed by bending and engaging the outer component to the overlapping portion of the inner component,
The outer component is characterized in that a bendable locking claw is provided on the edge of the side plate portion, and the inner component is formed with a through hole through which the locking claw is inserted, spanning the side plate portion and the bottom plate portion.
According to this feature, with a pair of components having an overlapping portion, one component is fixed by bending it toward the overlapping portion of the other component and engaging it, thereby ensuring high structural strength of the pair of components by the overlapping portion.

The pair of components are nested together, with the outer component bent toward the inner component.
According to this feature, the side plate portion of the outer component can restrict the relative lateral movement of the inner component, and the pair of components can be easily fixed together by bending the outer component.

The outer component member is provided with a bendable locking claw, and the inner component member is provided with a through hole into which the locking claw is inserted.
According to this feature, the locking claw can be easily bent to fix the pair of components, and since the locking claw can be passed through the through hole and positioned inside the inner component, the locking claw is not exposed to the outside, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The locking claw is provided on an edge of a side plate portion of the outer component member, and the through hole is formed across the side plate portion and bottom plate portion of the inner component member.
According to this feature, the locking claw can be bent without interfering with the inner component, so that the pair of components can be easily fixed.

The locking claw is characterized in that it contacts the inner edge of the side plate portion of the inner component member.
According to this feature, the side plate portion of the inner component can be pressed against the bottom plate portion and the side plate portion of the outer component by the locking claws, thereby increasing the connecting strength of the pair of components.

The locking claws and the through holes are formed in a plurality of positions vertically offset from one another.
According to this feature, since the through holes do not overlap in the horizontal direction, it is possible to prevent light from leaking sideways through the through holes on both sides, and this provides an excellent aesthetic appearance.

The following describes, based on examples, how to implement the support structure and the partition panel device using the support structure according to the present invention.

The support structure and partition panel device using the support structure according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 6. In the following description, the front side of the paper in Fig. 1 will be referred to as the front side (forward side) of the support structure, and the left and right sides as viewed from the front will be referred to as the left and right sides of the support structure.

As shown in FIG. 1, the partition panel device 10 is used to divide a room or space in a building, such as a school or office, into multiple sections. The side ends of the partition panel device 10 are supported by a support structure 1 (hereinafter simply referred to as support 1).

This partition panel device 10 is made up of multiple glass panels 4, 4, ... (panel bodies) connected to the left and right to divide a space, and the opposing ends of adjacent glass panels 4, 4 are filled with a highly transparent resin joint material (not shown), making it possible to connect them in the left and right direction without using a frame that extends in the up and down direction. Furthermore, the partition panel device 10 of this embodiment has a double glass panel structure in which multiple glass panels 4, 4, ... are attached at a distance from each other in the front and back (see Figure 2). Note that a transparent acrylic plate material may be used as the glass panel 4.

The upper ends of the glass panels 4, 4 are supported by an upper panel support 2 that extends to the right and is fixed to the ceiling R, and the lower ends of the glass panels 4, 4 are supported by a lower panel support 3 that extends in the left-right direction and is fixed to the floor surface F. The upper ends of the glass panels 4, 4 are supported by side panel supports 40 at the side edges of the glass panels 4, 4 at the left-right ends.

Next, the side panel support 40 will be described in detail. Note that here, only the side panel support 40 located at the right end of the partition panel device 10 will be described, and the description of the side panel support 40 at the left end of the partition panel device 10 will be omitted.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the main skeletal members of the side panel support 40 are a side support member 43 that extends vertically and supports the right end of the glass panel 4, and a support column 1 that extends vertically and is erected between the ceiling R and the floor F. The side support member 43 is attached to the support column 1.

Referring to FIG. 2, the side support member 43 has a generally H-shaped cross section. It is mainly formed by an intermediate plate 43A extending in the front-rear direction, a front plate 43B disposed in front of the intermediate plate 43A and extending in the left-right direction, and a rear plate 43C disposed behind the intermediate plate 43A and extending in the left-right direction.

On the right side of the side support member 43, there is a fitting portion 43a that is defined by an intermediate plate 43A, a front plate 43B, and a rear plate 43C, is recessed to the left, and opens to the right, allowing it to be attached with most of the support pole 1 stored. In addition, on the left side of the side support member 43, there is a fitting portion 43d that is defined by an intermediate plate 43A, a front plate 43B, and a rear plate 43C, is recessed to the right, and opens to the left, allowing the inner cover member 10b to be detachably engaged.

Next, the assembly of the partition panel device 10 will be briefly described. First, the support 1, which will be described in detail later, is fixed to the floor surface F and the ceiling R and erected, and the cover member 10c is attached from the right side. After that, the fitting portion 43a of the side support member 43 is fitted into the support 1, and the side support member 43 is fixed to the support 1 by a bolt (not shown) (note that the fixing may be a means other than bolt fixing). At this time, the support 1 is positioned by a pair of protruding portions 43b, 43b formed on the intermediate plate 43A and protruding to the right abutting against the bottom plate 21A (see FIG. 6) of the inner member 21, which will be described in detail later. In addition, the support 1 is positioned by the front and rear shoulder portions 43c, 43c, which form a step by expanding the front and rear plates 43B and 43C in the front and rear direction, abutting against the end faces of the side plates 11B and 11C of the outer member 11, which will be described in detail later. In addition, the position of the support 1 is restricted by the protrusions 43b, 43b and the shoulders 43c, 43c, but the position may also be restricted by the protrusions 43b, 43b or the shoulders 43c, 43c.

After the inner cover member 10b is attached to the side support member 43, the glass panels 4, 4 are arranged on the front and rear of the side support member 43. Rubber elastic members 44, 44 are attached to the front and rear of the front plate 43B and rear plate 43C on the mating portion 43d side, and serve as shock absorbers and joint materials.

Next, the outer cover members 10a, 10a are attached to the side support members 43 by engaging the outer cover members 10a, 10a with the extension pieces that extend in parallel from approximately the center of the front and rear panels 43B and 43C. Finally, the upper panel support member 2 and the lower panel support member 3 are attached.

The assembly order of the partition panel device 10 is not limited to the above, and other orders may be used. In addition, in this embodiment, a structure in which the side support members 43 extend in the vertical direction is illustrated, but multiple side support members may be provided spaced apart in the vertical direction from the support 1.

Next, the support pillar 1 will be described. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the support pillar 1 is composed of an outer member 11 (constituent member) that extends vertically and has a generally U-shape in horizontal cross section, and an inner member 21 (constituent member) that extends vertically and has a generally U-shape in horizontal cross section. The outer width W21 (see Figure 6) of the inner member 21 is slightly smaller than the inner width W11 (see Figure 6) of the outer member 11, and the inner member 21 can be inserted into the opening of the outer member 11 with the opening sides of the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 facing each other. When inserted, the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 together form a rectangular cross section, which increases the strength.

As shown in Figures 3 and 5(a), (b), and (c), the external member 11 is formed with side plates 11B (side plate portion) and side plates 11C (side plate portion) extending in the same direction perpendicular to the bottom plate 11A from the left and right ends of the bottom plate 11A (bottom plate portion). An opening 11D is formed in the opposing portion facing the bottom plate 11A.

A set of cutouts 12a, 12a cut from the edge 11E, 11E toward the bottom plate 11A is formed in multiple locations on the side plates 11B, 11C of the outer member 11, and a piece 12A (also called a locking claw 12A) formed between the cutouts 12a, 12a is crimped and locked into through holes 22A, 22B of the inner member 21 described below, thereby functioning as the locking claw 12A. A plurality of locking claws 12A are formed in the vertical direction on the side plate 11B. Similarly, a plurality of locking claws 12B are formed in the vertical direction on the side plate 11C.

In addition, the locking claws 12A formed on the side plate 11B of the external member 11 and the locking claws 12B formed on the side plate 11C are formed at different positions in the up-down direction, and are asymmetrical.

As shown in Figures 3 and 4(a), (b), and (c), the inner member 21 is formed with side plates 21B (side plate portion) and side plates 21C (side plate portion) extending in the same direction perpendicular to the bottom plate 21A from the left and right ends of the bottom plate 21A (bottom plate portion). An opening 21D is formed in the opposing portion facing the bottom plate 21A.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner member 21 has a through hole 22A that is L-shaped in cross section and continues to the vicinity of the connection point between the side plate 21B and the bottom plate 21A. Similarly, a through hole 22B that is L-shaped in cross section and continues to the vicinity of the connection point between the side plate 21C and the bottom plate 21A is formed. In addition, by forming the through holes 22A and 22B, an edge portion 23A is formed between the side plate 21B and the bottom plate 21A, and an edge portion 23B is formed between the side plate 21B and the bottom plate 21A.

In addition, the through hole 22A formed in the side plate 21B of the inner member 21 and the through hole 22B formed in the side plate 21C are formed at different positions in the up-down direction, and are asymmetrical.

The locking claw 12A formed on the side plate 11B of the outer member 11 and the through hole 22A formed on the side plate 21B of the inner member 21 are formed at approximately the same position in the vertical direction, and the locking claw 12B formed on the side plate 11C of the outer member 11 and the through hole 22B formed on the side plate 21C of the inner member 21 are formed at approximately the same position in the vertical direction.

As shown in FIG. 6(a), the outer width W21 of the inner member 21 is smaller than the inner width W11 of the outer member 11 in the side cross section, and the outer height H21 of the inner member 21 is approximately the same as the inner height H11 of the outer member 11. The inner member 21 can be nested within the outer member 11 with the opening 11D of the outer member 11 facing the opening 21D of the inner member 21. At this time, the lower ends 21b, 21c of the side plates 21B, 21C of the inner member 21 abut against the inner surface 11a of the bottom plate 11A of the outer member 11.

After being nested, the locking claws 12A of the outer member 11 are bent into the through hole 22A formed in the inner member 21, and similarly, the locking claws 12B of the outer member 11 are bent into the through hole 22B formed in the inner member 21. In this way, the locking claws 12A and 12B are bent and crimped to the edges 23A and 23B of the through holes 22A and 22B, thereby assembling the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 into the support 1.

And because the locking claws 12A and 12B are bent, the support 1 can be easily assembled.

In addition, the structure of the support 1 is stable because the movement of the locking claws 12A and 12B is restricted by the edges 23A and 23B of the through holes 22A and 22B.

Furthermore, at overlapping portions 31 and 32, side plates 11B, 21B, 11C, and 21C overlap, ensuring high strength.

In addition, the lower ends 21b, 21c of the side plates 21B, 21C abut against the inner surface 11a of the bottom plate 11A, so the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 do not rattle. In addition, the side plate 21B is supported in a clamped state from the extension direction by the locking claws 12A and the bottom plate 11A, and the side plate 21C is supported in a clamped state from the extension direction by the locking claws 12B and the bottom plate 11A, so the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 are firmly fixed together.

The locking claws 12A and 12B are bent to form acute angles with the side plates 21B and 21C, respectively, and abut against the edges 23A and 23B (inner edges: see Figure 3) of the through holes 22A and 22B, making it difficult for the locking claws 12A and 12B to slip out of the through holes 22A and 22B.

In this way, the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 are provided as a pair of components that extend vertically and have a roughly U-shaped horizontal cross section. The outer member 11 and the inner member 21 are combined together to form a square-shaped horizontal cross section with overlapping portions 31, 32. The outer member 11 is fixed to the inner member 21 by folding and engaging the outer member 11 to the inner member 21, ensuring high structural strength.

In addition, the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 are nested together, and the outer member 11 is bent toward the inner member 21. This allows the side plates 11B and 11C of the outer member 11 to restrict the relative lateral movement of the inner member 21, and allows the outer member 11 to be easily fixed by bending it.

In addition, the outer member 11 is provided with bendable locking claws 12A, 12B, and the inner member 21 is provided with through holes 22A, 22B into which the locking claws 12A, 12B are inserted. This allows the locking claws 12A, 12B to be easily bent to fix the outer member 11 and the inner member 21, and the locking claws 12A, 12B can be positioned inside the inner member 21 through the through holes 22A, 22B, so that the locking claws 12A, 12B are not exposed to the outside, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

In addition, the locking claws 12A, 12B are provided on the edge of the side plates 11B, 11C of the components of the outer member 11, and the through holes 22A, 22B are formed across the side plates 21B, 21C and bottom plate 21A of the inner member 21. This allows the locking claws 12A, 12B to be bent without interfering with the inner member 21, making it easy to fix the outer member 11 and the inner member 21 together.

In addition, because the locking claws 12A, 12B are in contact with the edges 23A, 23B of the side plates 21B, 21C of the inner member 21, the locking claws 12A, 12B can press the side plates 21B, 21C of the inner member 21 against the bottom plate 11A and side plates 11B, 11C of the outer member 11, thereby increasing the connection strength between the outer member 11 and the inner member 21.

In addition, the locking claws 12A, 12B and the through holes 22A, 22B are formed in multiple positions offset in the vertical direction, which prevents light and sound from leaking out to the sides through the through holes 22A, 22B, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, the bottom plate 21A of the inner member 21, in other words the side on which the locking claws 12A, 12B and the through holes 22A, 22B are arranged, is arranged on the bottom side of the fitting portion 43a of the side support member 43, which further prevents light and sound from leaking to the side through the through holes 22A, 22B.

Figure 7 shows modified example 1 of the support pillar 1 in the embodiment. Note that the same configuration as the above embodiment is omitted. The support pillar 51 in modified example 1 is composed of an outer member 60 and an inner member 61.

The side plates 60B, 60C of the outer member 60 are longer in the front-rear direction than the side plates in the first embodiment. After the inner member 61 is nested in the opening of the outer member 60, the opposing side plates 60B, 60C are bent inward at an acute angle, and the tip portions 62A, 62B are abutted against the outer surface of the inner member 61 to form the support 51.

The outer member 60 of the first modified example has no notches, ensuring high strength. The inner member 61 also has no through holes, ensuring high strength.

In the first modified example, the side plates 60B, 60C of the outer member 60 are longer than the side plates 61B, 61C of the inner member 61. However, the inner height of the side plates 60B, 60C of the outer member 60 may be the same as the outer height of the side plates 61B, 61C of the inner member 61, and the side plates 60B, 60C of the outer member 60 may have protrusions that extend from the ends and are bent.

Figure 8 shows a second modified example of the support 1 in the embodiment. Note that the same configuration as the previous embodiment is omitted. The support 71 in the second modified example is composed of an outer member 80 and an inner member 81.

The bottom plate 80A of the external member 80 has rectangular through holes 82A, 82B formed at both left and right ends, and multiple holes are arranged in a staggered pattern in the vertical direction of the bottom plate 80A.

The side plates 81B, 81C of the inner member 81 have extensions 83A, 83B at their ends, which can be inserted into the through holes 82A, 82B of the outer member 80 when the inner member 81 is nested in the opening of the outer member 80.

The extending portions 83A and 83B of the inner member 81 are inserted through the through holes 82A and 82B of the outer member 80, and are bent inward, respectively, so that the inner surfaces of the extending portions 83A and 83B are brought into contact with the outer surface of the bottom plate 80A of the outer member 80, thereby assembling the support 71.
