Description

The present invention relates to buildings.

Patent Document 1 discloses an example of an accommodation facility that separates rooms for pets from guest rooms. In the accommodation facility disclosed in Patent Document 1, multiple pet cages are placed in the pet rooms. Pets placed in the pet cages are photographed using a camera. Guests can observe the behavior of their pets by viewing the photographed images.

In Patent Document 1, unintentional cleaning of the room caused by pets does not occur in the guest room. Therefore, even guests without pets can stay at the hotel without using facilities that have been soiled by pets in the past. However, guests with pets cannot share the same space as their pets.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide a building in which pets can stay in the same room as them while limiting the area in which they can move freely.

(1) The building according to claim 1 is a building having a plurality of rooms separated by partition walls, at least some of the rooms being equipped with living spaces, the living spaces having a first area and a second area separated by a partition member that is higher than the floor surface and lower than the ceiling, the floor material of the first area being a non-absorbent material, the floor material of the second area being an absorbent material, and the partition member having a cage that opens into the first area.

According to the above configuration, while the visitor and the pet stay in the same room, the partition member can prevent the pet in the first area from moving to the second area. Even if dirt caused by the pet occurs in the first area, the floor material of the first area is non-absorbent and easy to clean. The floor material of the second area is absorbent, providing a comfortable and gentle environment for the visitor. Since the partition member is lower than the ceiling, the visitor can easily see the pet in the first area through the space above the partition member from the second area. When the visitor goes to sleep in the second area, the pet can be put in a cage, thereby preventing the pet from moving unintentionally. Since the cage opens to the first area, the pet can be put in the cage from the first area.

(2) Claim 2 is a building according to claim 1, in which the room has an entrance opening to the outside of the room and a window opening to the outdoors, the window is located in the first area, and the second area is located closer to the entrance than the first area.

With the above configuration, the visitor can spend time with their pet in a bright environment in the first area, with natural light coming in through the window. According to the above configuration, while the visitor and the pet stay in the same room, the partition member can prevent the pet in the first area from moving to the second area. The floor material in the second area is absorbent, providing a gentle and comfortable environment for the visitor. The visitor can easily see the pet in the first area from the second area through the space above the partition member.

When the guest returns to the room with their pet, the pet can enter the bathroom through the entrance, passageway, and the opening in the bathroom. The flooring in the passageway and bathroom is made of non-absorbent materials, making cleaning easy. Also, there is no living room on the route from the entrance to the bathroom, so pets with dirty legs from going out can be prevented from entering the living room.

(4) The room according to claim 4 has a window that opens to the outdoors, the window is located in the first area, and the second area is located closer to the entrance than the first area, in the building according to claim 3.

A building 100 having multiple rooms 10 partitioned by partition walls 11 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Note that this embodiment is merely one example of the present invention, and it goes without saying that it can be modified as appropriate without departing from the gist of the present invention.

In the following, as shown in Figure 1, the direction from the entrance 12 of the room 10 toward the washroom 14 is defined as the front. The direction from the washroom 14 toward the entrance 12 of the room 10 is defined as the rear. The combination of front and rear is defined as the front-to-rear direction 1. Furthermore, the direction from the living room 17 toward the corridor 13 is defined as the left. The direction from the corridor 13 toward the living room 17 is defined as the right. The window 16 is disposed in the partition wall 11 on the front side of the room 10, and opens to the outdoors. The window 16 is located, for example, in a first area of the living room 17 described below. The window 16 has, for example, a single-leaf door 37 that opens to the outdoors. In this embodiment, multiple windows 16 are disposed side by side along the left-right direction 2.

The living room 17 is located on the right side of the room 10. The living room 17 is configured as a generally rectangular area in a plan view. In addition, by providing kitchen facilities in the non-absorbent passageway 13, the space of the passageway 13 can be utilized effectively.

At least some of the rooms include an entrance opening to the outside of the room, a window opening to the outdoors, a living room , a passageway connected to the entrance and extending along the partition wall, and a washroom having an opening to the passageway;
The living space has a first area and a second area,
The first area and the second area are partitioned by a partition member that is higher than the floor surface and lower than the ceiling so that pets cannot move there .
The floor material of the first region is a non-water-absorbent material,
the window is located in the first region;
The floor material of the second region is an absorbent material,
the second region opens into the passage;
A bed is located in the second area,
The second area is located closer to the entrance than the first area,
The floor materials of the passageway and the washroom are non-absorbent materials;
The partition member is a building having a pet cage that opens into the first area. The washroom mentioned above is
A first sink; and
2. The building of claim 1 , further comprising a second sink located lower than the first sink. The building according to claim 1 , wherein the entrance and the washroom face each other across the passageway. 2. The building of claim 1 , wherein a kitchen facility having a third sink and a countertop is located in said passageway. The building according to claim 1 , wherein the partition member has an opening connecting the first area and the second area. The building according to claim 1 , wherein the floor surface of the second area is higher than the floor surface of the first area.
