Description
本開示において使用される用語に関しては、以下の定義が提供される。ポリマーの定義は、Compendium of Polymer Terminology and Nomenclature,IUPAC Recommendations 2008,edited by:Richard G.Jones,Jaroslav Kahovec,Robert Stepto,Edward S.Wilks,Michael Hess,Tatsuki Kitayama,and W.Val Metanomskiに開示される定義に一致する。
(1) 眼科用装置であって、
1つ又は2つ以上の焦点距離に対して最適化された屈折力をそれぞれ有する複数の光学ゾーンを含むレンズと、
前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部の内部に配置された同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクと、
着用者の所望の焦点距離の変化に応じて、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの光透過特性を変化させるように構成されたプロセッサと、を備える、眼科用装置。
(2) 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、エレクトロクロミック材料、液晶材料、サーモクロミック材料、フォトクロミック材料、ナノ構造材料、ナノ粒子材料、ナノ結晶材料、及び懸濁粒子のうちの少なくとも1つを備える、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(3) 前記光透過特性の変化が、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの不透明度の変化を含む、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(4) 前記レンズが、ゾーン多焦点面、二焦点面、及び連続多焦点面のうちの1つ又は2つ以上を有する、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(5) 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、封入されたインサート内に配置されている、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
内側導電層及び外側導電層と、
第1のイオン輸送基(ion transport group)と、
第2のイオン輸送基と、を含み、
前記内側導電層及び前記外側導電層に加えられた電気的バイアスが、前記第1のイオン輸送基及び前記第2のイオン輸送基のうちの一方を透明状態で機能させ、前記第1のイオン輸送基及び前記第2のイオン輸送基のうちの他方を不透明状態で機能させるように、前記第1のイオン輸送基及び前記第2のイオン輸送基が、前記内側導電層及び前記外側導電層に対してそれぞれ反対の向きで前記内側導電層と前記外側導電層との間に介在されている、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(7) 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、近方ゾーン、遠方ゾーン、及び中間ゾーンのそれぞれの少なくとも1つを含む、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(8) 前記少なくとも1つの近方ゾーン、遠方ゾーン、及び中間ゾーンのうちの1つが、前記レンズの中心に存在する、実施態様7に記載の眼科用装置。
(9) 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、少なくとも2つの遠方ゾーンを含む、実施態様7に記載の眼科用装置。
(10) 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、少なくとも2つの近方ゾーンを含む、実施態様7に記載の眼科用装置。
(12) 前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通る透過率が、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に関係なく、前記レンズのバルク材料の透過率に近いように、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの前記少なくとも1つの周方向外側又は内側に存在する、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(13) 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に関係なく、前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通る少なくとも50%の光透過を可能にするように構成されている、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(14) 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、1つ又は2つ以上の窓を備える、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(15) 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、前記着用者の眼の光学的特性、輝度、屈折、年齢、及び両眼離反運動瞳孔反射(vergence pupillary response)のうちの1つ又は2つ以上に基づいて改善されたスルーフォーカス視覚性能を提供するように最適化された1つ又は2つ以上の直径を含む、実施態様7に記載の眼科用装置。
(17) 前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つが、少なくとも部分的に、前記着用者の眼上の前記レンズの予想される偏心をオフセットするように計算された量だけ偏心されている、実施態様1に記載の眼科用装置。
(18) 1つ又は2つ以上の焦点距離に対して最適化された屈折力をそれぞれ有する複数の光学ゾーンを有する眼科用装置において使用するための非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体であって、前記コンピュータ可読媒体が、プロセッサによって実行されると、
1つ又は2つ以上のフォーカスセンサからリアルタイム焦点データを受信するステップと、
前記1つ又は2つ以上のフォーカスセンサからの前記リアルタイム焦点データに基づいて、前記着用者の所望の焦点距離を判定するステップと、
前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部の内部に配置された同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクを作動させるステップであって、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクを作動させることが、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に対して最適化されていない前記光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通過する光をアポダイズする、ステップと、を実行する、前記コンピュータ可読媒体に記憶された命令を備える、非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体。
(19) 前記データに関連付けられた所望のモードを前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの現在のモードと比較することによって、焦点の変化が必要かどうかを判定するステップを更に含む、実施態様18に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
(20) 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの前記現在のモードが、近見視モード、遠見視モード、及び中間視モードのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、実施態様19に記載のコンピュータ可読媒体。
Claims (20)
- コンタクトレンズであって、
1つ又は2つ以上の焦点距離に対して最適化された屈折力をそれぞれ有する複数の光学ゾーンを含むレンズと、
前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部の内部に配置された同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクと、
着用者の所望の焦点距離の変化に応じて、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの光透過特性を変化させるように構成されたプロセッサと、を備え、
前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが複数の環状セルを備え、前記環状セルに印加される電位が前記コンタクトレンズの外径方向に隣接した前記環状セルの前記光透過特性をそれぞれ対向する特性に変化させるように構成される、コンタクトレンズ。 - 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、エレクトロクロミック材料、液晶材料、サーモクロミック材料、フォトクロミック材料、ナノ構造材料、ナノ粒子材料、ナノ結晶材料、及び懸濁粒子のうちの少なくとも1つを備える、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記光透過特性の変化が、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの不透明度の変化を含む、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記レンズが、ゾーン多焦点面、二焦点面、及び連続多焦点面のうちの1つ又は2つ以上を有する、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、封入されたインサート内に配置されている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、エレクトロクロミックデバイスを備え、前記エレクトロクロミックデバイスが、

- 前記少なくとも1つの近方ゾーン、遠方ゾーン、及び中間ゾーンのうちの1つが、前記レンズの中心に存在する、請求項7に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、少なくとも2つの遠方ゾーンを含む、請求項7に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、少なくとも2つの近方ゾーンを含む、請求項7に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、第1の屈折力を有する前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つに対応する第1の領域と、第2の屈折力を有する別の前記複数の光学ゾーンに対応する第2の領域とを含み、焦点の所望の変化を示す信号を受信すると、前記第1の領域の不透明度が増大又は減少し、前記第2の領域の不透明度が、前記第1の領域の不透明度とは逆に増大又は減少する、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通る透過率が、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に関係なく、前記レンズのバルク材料の透過率に近いように、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つの周方向外側又は内側に存在する、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に関係なく、前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通る少なくとも50%の光透過を可能にするように構成されている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが、1つ又は2つ以上の窓を備える、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記複数の光学ゾーンが、前記着用者の眼の光学的特性、輝度、屈折、年齢、及び両眼離反運動瞳孔反射のうちの1つ又は2つ以上に基づいて改善されたスルーフォーカス視覚性能を提供するように最適化された1つ又は2つ以上の直径を含む、請求項7に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクと前記プロセッサとの間に電気的接続性を形成するように構成された剛性相互接続構造体を更に備え、前記剛性相互接続構造体が、半透明材料から構成され、少なくとも1つの空隙を含むように寸法決めされている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つが、少なくとも部分的に、前記着用者の眼上の前記レンズの予想される偏心をオフセットするように計算された量だけ偏心されている、請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズ。
- 1つ又は2つ以上の焦点距離に対して最適化された屈折力をそれぞれ有する複数の光学ゾーンを有するコンタクトレンズにおいて使用するための非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体であって、前記非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体が、プロセッサによって実行されると、
1つ又は2つ以上のフォーカスセンサからリアルタイム焦点データを受信するステップと、
前記1つ又は2つ以上のフォーカスセンサからの前記リアルタイム焦点データに基づいて、着用者の所望の焦点距離を判定するステップと、
前記複数の光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部の内部に配置された同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクを作動させるステップであって、前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクを作動させることが、前記着用者の前記所望の焦点距離に対して最適化されていない前記光学ゾーンのうちの少なくとも1つを通過する光をアポダイズする、ステップと、を実行する、前記非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体に記憶された命令を備え、
前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクが複数の環状セルを備え、前記環状セルに印加される電位が前記コンタクトレンズの外径方向に隣接する前記環状セルの光透過特性を対向する特性に変化させるように構成された、非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体。 - 前記リアルタイム焦点データに関連付けられた所望のモードを前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの現在のモードと比較することによって、焦点の変化が必要かどうかを判定するステップを更に含む、請求項18に記載の非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記同調可能なアポディゼーションマスクの前記現在のモードが、近見視モード、遠見視モード、及び中間視モードのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項19に記載の非一時的コンピュータ可読媒体。
