軟質樹脂としては、例えば、オレフィン系エラストマー、スチレン系エラストマー、ポリエステル系エラストマー、ポリウレタン系エラストマーを例示できる。

L3は、1.0mm超10mm以下が好ましい。L3が前記範囲の下限値以上であれば、ブラシ本体部と替えブラシの保持力が弱くなり、使用中に外れやすくなる。L3が前記範囲の上限値以下であれば、ブラシ本体部への替えブラシの嵌め込みが困難となる。
L4は、1.0mm以上5.0mm以下が好ましく、1.5mm以上3.5mm以下がより好ましい。
また、挿入性と挿入後の固定の点から、L1とL4の関係はL1≧L4が好ましく、L2とL3の関係はL2≧L3が好ましい。
