Description
1つ以上の脂肪族又は脂環式ポリイソシアネートと、(i)ポリエーテルポリオール、(ii)ポリエステルポリオール、及び(iii)ポリカーボネートポリオールから選択される少なくとも2つの異なる高分子ポリオール成分とから形成されるポリウレタン重合体を含有し、2つの異なる高分子ポリオール成分は、(i)、(ii)及び(iii)の3つの高分子ポリオールカテゴリーのうち少なくとも2つのカテゴリーから高分子ポリオールを含み、周囲硬化条件は、4℃~32℃の温度と、相対湿度0%~相対湿度90%の湿度と、特に32℃の温度と相対湿度90%の湿度と、を含む、発泡性水性分散体。
(a)前記表面に、項1~7のいずれか一項の発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を塗工すること、及び
(b)発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を周囲環境条件下で乾燥させて安定な軟質フォームを製造することを含み、
周囲硬化条件は、4℃~32℃の温度と、相対湿度0%~相対湿度90%の湿度と、を含み、特に32℃の温度と相対湿度90%の湿度である、方法。ある実施形態においては、安定な軟質フォームは2つの表面の間で圧縮されてガスケットとして機能する。
(a)1つ以上の脂肪族又は脂環式ポリイソシアネートと、(i)ポリエーテルポリオール、(ii)ポリエステルポリオール、及び(iii)ポリカーボネートポリオールから選択される少なくとも2つの異なる高分子ポリオール成分とから形成されるポリウレタン重合体を含有し、2つの異なる高分子ポリオール成分は、(i)、(ii)及び(iii)の3つの高分子ポリオールカテゴリーのうち少なくとも2つのカテゴリーから高分子ポリオールを含む、発泡性水性分散体を提供すること、
(b)発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を前記表面に塗工すること、並びに
(c)発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を周囲環境条件下で乾燥させて安定な軟質フォームを製造することを含み、
周囲硬化条件は、4℃~32℃の温度と、相対湿度0%~相対湿度90%の湿度と、を含み、特に32℃の温度と相対湿度90%の湿度である、方法。ある実施形態においては、安定な軟質フォームは2つの表面の間で圧縮されてガスケットとして機能する。
以下の実施例においては、水性ポリウレタン分散体(PUD)を最小限配合し、その後発泡させる。PUDは、当該技術分野で公知の標準的な手順(上述)に従って、表2に示すポリオール/ポリオール混合物及びイソシアネートを用いて調整した。
下記処方に従ってPUDを配合し、最終発泡性製品とした(表1)。
この実施例においては、乾燥したフォームの性能と潜在的有用性を、以下の物性について1~5のスケール(1=性能が低い;5=優れた性能)を用いて定性的に評価した。
室内温度及び湿度(23℃、相対湿度50%)で乾燥した後のビーズの外観。スコアが1というのはフォームビーズが完全に潰れたことを表し、スコアが5というのはフォームビーズに収縮やシワがないことを表す。
高温高湿(32℃、相対湿度90%)で乾燥した後のビーズの外観。スコアが1というのはフォームビーズが完全に潰れたことを表し、スコアが5というのはフォームビーズに収縮やシワがないことを表す。
室内温度及び湿度(23℃、相対湿度50%)で乾燥した後のフォームビーズを少しの間(初期厚みの30%まで)圧縮した後のビーズの反発性。スコアが1というのはフォームビーズが全く戻らないことを表し、スコアが5というのはフォームビーズが直ちに完全に元に戻ることを表す。
室内温度及び湿度(23℃、相対湿度50%)で乾燥した後のビーズの靭性。スコアが1というのは乾燥したフォームが脆く容易に壊れることを示し、スコアが5というのはフォーム靭性が優れていることを示す。
Claims (7)
- 建物の外壁内の隙間にある表面の近傍又は表面上に空間充填用塊状物を提供する方法であって、
(a)前記表面に、イソホロンジイソシアネートと、1つ以上のポリエーテルポリオール及び1つ以上のポリエステルポリオールを含む少なくとも2つの異なるポリオール成分とから形成されるポリウレタン重合体を含んでなる発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を塗工すること、及び
(b)前記発泡性水性分散体の発泡試料を、温度4℃~32℃及び相対湿度0%~90%の周囲環境条件下で乾燥させて安定なフォームを製造することを含み、
前記安定なフォームは、建物の外壁内の隙間にある表面の近傍又は表面上に空間充填用塊状物を提供することにより空気の透過を防止し、さらに
前記安定なフォームは、温度32℃及び相対湿度90%の条件下でも潰れず、かつ、15 psi以下の圧力での圧縮率が元の高さの30%未満であることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記発泡性水性分散体の前記発泡試料を塗工するステップは、加圧容器から前記発泡性水性分散体を分注することによって行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 得られた前記安定なフォームの密度が0.04~0.4g/cm3である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記安定なフォームの高さが3mm超である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記安定なフォームは2つの表面の間で圧縮されてガスケットとして機能する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡性水性分散体が、前記発泡性水性分散体全体に対し0.3重量%未満のイオン性界面活性剤、石けん、又はワックスを含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリエステルポリオールに対するポリエーテルポリオールの重量比が5:95~90:10である、請求項1に記載の方法。
