Claims (22)
- 塞栓物質捕捉カテーテルであって、
外部シースルーメンを画定する外部シースと、
前記外部シースルーメン内に摺動可能に配置されて、内部シースルーメンを画定する内部シースであって、前記内部シースは、内部シース遠位端部分を有する、内部シースと、
血管内で前進するための挿入形状および前記血管を介する塞栓物質の流れを阻止するための展開形状を有する塞栓物質捕捉エレメントと、を備え、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、外部足場部分と内部フィルタ部分とを備え、前記外部足場部分は、外部足場近位端部分と、外部足場遠位端部分と、前記外部足場近位端部分と前記外部足場遠位端部分との間を延びる外部足場中間部分とを有し、前記外部足場近位端部分は、前記内部シース遠位端部分へ付着され、前記外部足場部分は、前記塞栓物質捕捉カテーテルが前記挿入形状から前記展開形状へと再構成される間に、自己拡張して前記外部足場遠位端部分が血管内面と係合するように構成され、前記内部フィルタ部分は、内部フィルタ近位端部分と、内部フィルタ遠位端部分とを有し、前記内部フィルタ近位端部分は、前記内部シース遠位端部分へ付着され、前記内部フィルタ部分は、前記内部フィルタ部分を介して流れる血液から塞栓物質を捕捉するように構成され、前記内部フィルタ部分は、前記外部足場部分と結合され、かつ、前記外部足場部分は、前記展開形状において、前記外部足場遠位端部分が外部足場遠位端部分外径を有し、かつ前記外部足場中間部分が、前記外部足場遠位端部分外径より小さい外部足場中間部分外径を有する段付きの外径プロファイルを有する、塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。 - 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、前記外部足場部分の遠位端部分を前記内部フィルタ部分の遠位端部分と結合させる中間部分を備える、請求項1に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記内部フィルタ部分は、前記展開形状において、前記外部足場部分から、介在する環状空間により分離される、請求項2に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記中間部分は、前記中間部分を介して流れる血液から塞栓物質を捕捉するように構成される、請求項3に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記中間部分は、非多孔質である、請求項3に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記中間部分は、血流を前記内部フィルタ部分へと方向づけるように構成される円錐形状を有する、請求項3に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記外部足場部分、前記中間部分および前記内部フィルタ部分は、一体形成された編組線部材の部分である、請求項3に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記中間部分へ付着される遠位端シートをさらに備え、前記遠位端シートは、前記中間部分を介して流れる塞栓物質の流れを阻止するように構成される、請求項7に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記遠位端シートは、非多孔質である、請求項8に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記遠位端シートは、前記遠位端シートを介して流れる血液から塞栓物質を濾過するように適合化された多孔度を有する、請求項8に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記外部足場部分は、前記血管内面の非外傷性係合用に構成される遠位拡張性ワイヤループを備える、請求項3に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 拡張器シースと展開キャップアセンブリとを含む拡張器アセンブリをさらに備え、前記拡張器シースは、前記内部シースルーメン内に摺動可能に配置されて、拡張器シースルーメンを画定し、前記展開キャップアセンブリは、前記拡張器シースルーメン内に摺動可能に配置され、
前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントの遠位端部分は、前記挿入形状において前記拡張器アセンブリにより押さえられ、
前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントの前記遠位端部分は、前記拡張器アセンブリによる前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントの前記遠位端部分の解放に応答して、前記拡張器シースに対する前記展開キャップアセンブリの遠位前進を介して前記展開形状へと半径方向に拡張し、かつ、
前記拡張器アセンブリは、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントが前記展開形状にある間に、前記内部シースに対する前記拡張器アセンブリの近位後退を介して前記内部シースルーメンから取外しが可能である、請求項1に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。 - 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントが前記挿入形状であるときに、前記拡張器シースの外面に合致する、請求項12に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、少なくとも部分的に、前記拡張器アセンブリを介して前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントに与えられる軸方向の張力によって前記挿入形状に保持される、請求項13に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントが前記挿入形状である状態で、前記外部シースの遠位に配置可能である、請求項13に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記内部フィルタ部分は、前記内部シース遠位端部分へ付着される、請求項1~請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、形状記憶材料を含む、請求項1~請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントが前記展開形状である間に、前記内部シースルーメンを介して塞栓物質を抜き取るように動作可能な塞栓物質抽出デバイスと結合されるべく適合化される、請求項1~請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、前記展開形状から、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントが前記外部シースルーメン内に配置される被捕捉形状へと、前記外部シースに対する前記内部シースの近位後退を介して再構成可能である、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記内部フィルタ部分は、前記外部足場部分へ、前記外部足場部分の全長に沿って付着される、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
- 前記内部シースは、前記展開形状において、前記内部シースルーメンへの治療カテーテルの挿入、および前記治療カテーテルの遠位部分の、前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントの遠位にあるポジションへの前進に対応し、かつ、
前記治療カテーテルの前記遠位部分は、外科的タスクを達成するように適合化される、請求項1~請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。 - 前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントは、前記展開形状において、患者の大動脈と接触し、かつ前記塞栓物質捕捉エレメントを通過して前記患者の大動脈を流れる塞栓物質の流れを実質的に阻止するように適合化され、かつ、
前記治療カテーテルは、人工大動脈弁を展開するように適合化される、請求項21に記載の塞栓物質捕捉カテーテル。
