図５は同パンツ１のマルチポケット部１２ａ－１２ｃ及び内ポケット部１３を説明するための模式的一部展開図である。伸縮性肌側生地７の上に、伸縮性カバー生地９を配置して縫製し胴回り部１０としている。伸縮性肌側生地７と伸縮性カバー生地９とは身丈方向に複数個所固定され、上部は開放されマルチポケット部が形成されている。マルチポケット部１２ａ－１２ｈは図１、図２、図５に示すように胴回り全体にあり、大きさも任意に作成できる。伸縮性カバー部分９の上端部は、伸縮性肌側生地７の紐入れ部８より低い位置に固定されている。これにより、小物の出し入れが容易となる。伸縮性カバー生地９はメッシュ生地が好ましい。マルチポケット部は２～８個が好ましい。
マルチポケット部の内部には開閉具（例えばファスナー１４）付きの内ポケット１３を設けるのが好ましい。内ポケット１３は伸縮性肌側生地７を２重にし、開口部に開閉具（例えばファスナー１４）を付けて作成する。内ポケット１３は小銭、プリベートカード、交通カード等、重要なものを入れるのに便利である。伸縮性肌側生地は伸縮性生地であり、身体にぴったりしているので、内ポケットに小銭を入れて走ってもほとんど動くことはなく、音もしない。

The inner pocket 13 is convenient for storing important items such as coins, private cards, and transportation cards. （実施例１）
（１）伸縮性肌側生地
ポリエステル（ポリエチレンテレフタレート:PET）のマルチフィラメント糸９０質量％、ポリウレタンフィラメント糸１０質量％を使用し、トリコット組織の編み物を作成した。目付は２４５ｇ／ｍ２であった。この編物は、試験片寸法幅５ｃｍ×長さ１０ｃｍ、チャック間距離５ｃｍ、荷重速度２００ｍｍ／ｍｉｎの条件で、荷重１４．７Ｎ時の伸長率はタテ３４％、ヨコ１０１％であった。
（２）伸縮性カバー生地
繊維素材：ナイロンのマルチフィラメント糸（総繊度：７８ｔｅｘ，構成本数２４本，生糸）８３質量％、ポリウレタンフィラメント糸（繊度：３１０ｔｅｘ）１７質量％を使用し、２６ゲージの緯編機でゴム編み組織のメッシュ編み物を作成した。目付は１６５ｇ／ｍ２であった。この編物は、試験片寸法幅５ｃｍ×長さ１０ｃｍ、チャック間距離５ｃｍ、荷重速度２００ｍｍ／ｍｉｎの条件で、荷重１４．７Ｎ時の伸長率はタテ９６％、ヨコ３２％であった。
伸縮性カバー生地の伸度と応力は表１～２のとおりである。
（３）パンツ下部生地及びサイドポケット部の生地
ポリエステル（ポリエチレンテレフタレート:PET）のマルチフィラメント糸８６質量％、ポリウレタンフィラメント糸１４質量％を使用した平織物を作成した。目付は９２ｇ／ｍ２であった。この織物生地は荷重１４．７Ｎで伸長率はタテ４２％、ヨコ２４％であった。
前記において、伸長率の試験方法は、生地の場合はＪＩＳ Ｌ １０９６法,試験片サイズ：幅５ｃｍ、長さ３０ｃｍ、チャック間２０ｃｍ、引っ張り速度２００ｍｍ／ｍｉｎで測定する。製品から採取する場合は、一例として幅１ｃｍ×長さ１０ｃｍ、チャック間５ｃｍとして伸長率を求めても良い。
Example 1
(1) Elastic skin side fabric A tricot knit was made using 90% by mass of polyester (polyethylene terephthalate: PET) multifilament yarn and 10% by mass of polyurethane filament yarn. The basis weight was 245 g/ m2 . This knit had a test piece with dimensions of 5 cm wide x 10 cm long, 5 cm between chucks, and a load speed of 200 mm/min. The elongation rate of this knit was 34% in the warp direction and 101% in the weft direction at a load of 14.7 N.
(2) Elastic cover fabric Fiber material: 83% by mass of nylon multifilament yarn (total fineness: 78 tex, number of constituents: 24, raw silk) and 17% by mass of polyurethane filament yarn (fineness: 310 tex) were used to create a mesh knitted fabric with a rib knit structure using a 26-gauge weft knitting machine. The basis weight was 165 g/ m2 . This knitted fabric had a test piece size of 5 cm wide x 10 cm long, 5 cm between chucks, and a load speed of 200 mm/min. The elongation rate at a load of 14.7 N was 96% in the vertical direction and 32% in the horizontal direction.
The elongation and stress of the elastic cover fabric are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
(3) Fabric for the lower part of the pants and fabric for the side pockets A plain weave fabric was made using 86% by mass of polyester (polyethylene terephthalate: PET) multifilament yarn and 14% by mass of polyurethane filament yarn. The basis weight was 92 g/ m2 . The elongation rate of this woven fabric was 42% in the warp direction and 24% in the weft direction at a load of 14.7 N.
In the above, the elongation rate is measured according to JIS L 1096 for fabrics, with test piece size: width 5 cm, length 30 cm, chuck interval 20 cm, and tension speed 200 mm/min. When samples are taken from products, the elongation rate may be measured, for example, with a width of 1 cm, length of 10 cm, and chuck interval of 5 cm.
伸縮性肌側生地、伸縮性カバー生地及びパンツ下部生地を使用して図１～５に示すランニング用パンツ（短パン）を縫製により作成した。ＪＡＳＰＯのＬサイズで、身丈は４０ｃｍ，静置した場合の腰幅３０ｃｍ，伸縮性肌生地の身丈方向の長さ（胴周囲方向の幅）１２ｃｍ，伸縮性カバー生地の身丈方向の長さ（胴周囲方向の幅）１０．５ｃｍで、伸縮性肌側生地を１．５ｃｍ高くした。このパンツの１着当たりの質量は１３５ｇであった。
このパンツは、サイドポケット部に３３０ｍＬの水入りペットボトルを入れて走っても大腿四頭筋の上下動の動きを妨げず、ペットボトル自体も安定して保持されることが確認でき、パンツがずり落ちることもなかった。
前記胴回り部は円筒状に形成されていることから、走行姿勢を安定に保持できた。さらに、腰の筋肉の負担が少なく、走るのが楽であった。
内ポケットの大きさはタテ１１ｃｍ，ヨコ１８ｃｍ，ファスナーの長さ１３ｃｍであった。内ポケットは小銭、プリベートカード、交通カード等、重要なものを入れるのに便利であった。伸縮性肌側生地は伸縮性生地であり、身体にぴったりしているので、内ポケットに小銭を入れて走ってもほとんど動くことはなく、音もしなかった。
The running pants (shorts) shown in Figures 1 to 5 were made by sewing using the elastic skin side fabric, the elastic cover fabric, and the pants lower fabric. The weight of each pair of pants was 135 g.
These pants did not interfere with the up and down movement of the quadriceps even when a 330 mL plastic bottle of water was placed in the side pocket while running, and it was confirmed that the bottle was held securely in place and the pants did not slip down.
The waist portion is cylindrically shaped, so the rider can maintain a stable riding posture. Furthermore, the burden on the lower back muscles is reduced, making riding easier.
The size of the inner pocket was 11 cm long, 18 cm wide, and the zipper was 13 cm long. The inner pocket was convenient for storing important items such as coins, private cards, and transportation cards. The stretchy skin side fabric was stretchy and fit snugly against the body, so even if I put coins in the inner pocket and ran, it hardly moved and made no noise.

図６に示す従来のパンツのサイドポケット部にペットボトルを入れて走ったところ、ペットボトル１５はポケットの内部で斜めになってしまい、大腿四頭筋の大腿直筋の上に乗る形で斜めになってしまい、太腿を挙げる動作の妨げとなり、走りにくかった。また、ペットボトルの重みで紐入れ部がずり落ち、使いにくかった。
