- 水中から汲み上げた水を冷却水路に供給して動力源を冷却し、冷却後の冷却水を前記冷却水路から外部に排出する冷却水経路を備え、
前記冷却水経路を流れる冷却水は、前記冷却水経路を目詰まりさせる大きさの異物が除去されている船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置であって、
前記冷却水経路中に、冷却水中に残留している異物を濾過する濾過装置を備え、
前記濾過装置を、メイン水路に配置した濾過用のフィルタと、バイパス水路を開閉させる弁部材とを内蔵し、前記フィルタに目詰まりが発生した場合に前記弁部材が開いて前記バイパス水路を経由して冷却水を流すカートリッジ式とし、

前記弁部材は、前記流入空間と前記バイパス水路との間を仕切り、前記流入空間側に所定以上の圧力が加わると開いて前記流入空間から前記バイパス水路へ冷却水の進行を可能にするプレッシャーバルブであることを特徴とする船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。 - 前記濾過装置を冷却水の流れる方向に延びる柱状とし、前記メイン水路及び前記バイパス水路を有するボディ部と、前記ボディ部に着脱可能な蓋部と、を備えた分割構造としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 前記弁部材を前記ボディ部の前記バイパス水路の上流側端部に配置し、前記蓋部により押さえて前記弁部材が固定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 前記ボディ部と前記蓋部は、弾性体からなる締結部材又はボルトによって固定されることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 船舶推進装置を船外機とし、前記濾過装置は、前記船外機の平面視状態で、後方側の幅が狭く前方側の幅が広い略三角形状であることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 船舶推進装置を、前記動力源が内燃機関である船外機とし、前記内燃機関の排気管路に触媒を備え、
前記触媒と前記濾過装置を前後方向に並べて配置したことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。 - 前記フィルタに目詰まりが発生した場合に、報知手段で表示又は音による報知を行うことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 前記濾過装置は、目視可能な最小の大きさの残留異物を前記フィルタによって捕捉可能な濾過機能を有することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
- 前記濾過装置は、前記冷却水経路のうち、前記冷却水路から排水口までの排水側水路の途中に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の船舶推進装置用動力源の冷却装置。
