The evaluation method of the present invention will be described below in the case where it includes a "step of evaluating the sheet cosmetic using at least one mood factor as an index" before and after use of the sheet cosmetic. In this case, a Δ score is calculated by subtracting the mood factor score before use of the sheet cosmetic from the mood factor score after use of the sheet cosmetic, and the sheet cosmetic can be evaluated using this Δ score.
2. Evaluation Tool for the Sheet Cosmetic of the Present Invention
The evaluation tool for sheet cosmetics of the present invention is an evaluation tool for evaluating sheet cosmetics using at least one mood factor selected from the group consisting of a refreshment factor, a relaxation factor, and an energy factor as an index.

In the following, an example of an evaluation tool will be described using a paper questionnaire. Figure 1 is an example of an evaluation tool for a sheet cosmetic according to one embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, Figure 1 is a questionnaire for having a user evaluate the mood state before or after using the sheet cosmetic. The upper left corner of Figure 1 shows questions asking about the user's mood state for each evaluation item, the lower left corner of Figure 1 shows 28 evaluation items, and the right side of Figure 1 shows the evaluation results for each evaluation item in association with a score.
For example, at least once before and once after using the sheet cosmetic, the user answers questions about the user's mood state for the 28 evaluation items using a questionnaire sheet on which the questionnaire in FIG. 1 is printed and a writing instrument. Because the evaluation results and scores for each evaluation item are already associated, the user's mood state for the 28 evaluation items can be scored from the results of the questionnaire sheet on which the questionnaire in FIG. 1 is printed.
The evaluation device may be configured to include, for example, a display unit that displays the mood factors, an input unit through which the subject inputs information about the mood factors, an evaluation unit that evaluates the sheet cosmetic using the input mood factors as indicators, and an output unit that outputs the evaluation results. In this case, the control program for the evaluation device, which causes the computer to operate as each unit (software element) of the evaluation device to realize the evaluation device on the computer, and the computer-readable recording medium on which the control program is recorded, also fall within the scope of the present invention.
前記プロセッサとしては、例えばCPU(Central Processing Unit)を用いることができる。 また、前記プログラムを展開するRAM(Random Access Memory)などをさらに備えていてもよい。 That is, the above-mentioned evaluation device (particularly, the evaluation unit) may be realized by a logic circuit (hardware) formed in an integrated circuit (IC chip) or the like, or may be realized by software. In the latter case, the evaluation unit includes a computer that executes instructions of a program, which is software that realizes each function. This computer includes, for example, at least one processor (control device) and at least one computer-readable recording medium that stores the program.
The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples.
[Experiment 1: Determination of mood factors and evaluation items included in the mood factors]
A method for determining mood factors and the evaluation items included in the mood factors will now be specifically described. As the sheet cosmetic, a sheet cosmetic was used in which a sheet substrate was impregnated with a cosmetic composition having a menthol concentration of 0.5% and an ethanol concentration of 50%, and containing no fragrance.
First, 20 subjects (users) were asked to use the sheet cosmetic product, and the subjects were asked to freely answer questions about their mood state after using the sheet cosmetic product. From the answers obtained, 28 terms related to mood state were extracted and used as evaluation items.
Next, 83 subjects were asked to use the sheet cosmetic product, and changes in the users' mood states were surveyed on a 5-point scale (1 to 5) regarding 28 evaluation items before, immediately after, 5 minutes after, and 10 minutes after use of the sheet cosmetic product. For the survey, paper with a questionnaire (medical questionnaire) printed on it, as shown in Figure 1, was used.
Next, the scores of the 83 people were averaged for each evaluation item to obtain the score for each evaluation item. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted based on the obtained scores to find three mood factors (common factors) and the evaluation items (observed variables) contained in each of these mood factors. The analysis software used was HAD (Shimizu, 2016), and factors were extracted using the least squares method, followed by promax rotation.
From the results of the exploratory factor analysis, the following mood factors and evaluation items were determined: (a) a "refresh factor" including the evaluation items "clean," "refreshing," "cool," "comfortable," "refreshed," and "invigorated," (b) a "relaxation factor" including the evaluation items "safe," "soothing," "gentle," "calm," and "relaxed," and (c) a "vitality factor" including the evaluation items "positive," "cheerful," and "motivated."
The results of exploratory factor analysis, which can be said to be the strength of the relationship between factors and items, are shown in Table 1 for (a) each mood factor, (b) the factor loading of each evaluation item for each mood factor, (c) the commonality of each evaluation item, and (d) the factor contribution of each mood factor. In Table 1, factor loadings of 0.350 or more are shown in bold. Here, the factor loading indicates the degree to which each mood factor affects each evaluation item, and can also be said to be the strength of the relationship between each mood factor and each evaluation item. The commonality is calculated as the sum of the squares of the factor loadings for each mood factor that explains the evaluation item (observed variable). The commonality indicates the degree to which the entire extracted mood factor explains each evaluation item (observed variable). The factor contribution is calculated as the sum of the squares of the factor loadings of each observed variable in each mood factor. The factor contribution indicates the degree to which each mood factor explains the variation of each evaluation item (observed variable).
[Experiment 2: Validity (factorial validity) and reliability (internal consistency and reproducibility) of mood factors]
For each of the three mood factors determined in Experiment 1 ("refresh factor,""relaxfactor," and "energy factor"), factorial validity, internal consistency, and reproducibility were confirmed.
解析ソフトはHAD(清水、2016)を用いた。確認的因子分析の結果、CFI(Comparative Fit Index;比較適合指標)=0.91、RMSEA(Root Mean Square Error of Approximation;近似2乗平均誤差平方根)=0.11およびSRMR(Standardized Root Mean Residual;標準化2乗平均残差)=0.08であった。
First, confirmatory factor analysis was performed using the scores for each evaluation item obtained in
Next, using the scores for each evaluation item obtained in
Furthermore, to confirm the reproducibility of the three mood factors ("refreshing factor," "relaxing factor," and "energy factor") determined in
[Experiment 3: Criterion-related validity of mood factors]
A Pearson correlation analysis was performed between the three mood factors determined in Experiment 1 ("refresh factor,""relaxfactor," and "energy factor") and the two factors of the Japanese version of PANAS (positive emotion and negative emotion).
First, the scores of the evaluation items constituting each mood factor, "refreshing factor," "relaxing factor," and "energy factor," were summed to calculate the score for each mood factor. Here, in
Next, to confirm the correlation between the scores of the mood factors "refreshing factor," "relaxing factor," and "energy factor" and the scores of each of the two factors of the Japanese version of PANAS, Pearson's correlation analysis was performed immediately after use, 5 minutes after use, and 10 minutes after use. The results of the Pearson's correlation analysis immediately after use of the sheet cosmetic are shown in Table 2, the results of the Pearson's
The results in Tables 2 to 4 show that each of the three mood factors ("Refreshing factor," "Relaxing factor," and "Energy factor") showed a positive correlation with PANAS positive emotions at every measurement time, and that of the three mood factors, the "Energy factor" in particular had a high correlation coefficient with positive emotions. These results show that each of the three mood factors ("Refreshing factor," "Relaxing factor," and "Energy factor") has a valid correlation with the factors of the Japanese version of PANAS, and it can be said that the criterion-related validity of the three mood factors ("Refreshing factor," "Relaxing factor," and "Energy factor") was recognized.

The specific embodiment of the evaluation method was as follows.
(1) Each user was assessed for their mood state on 14 evaluation items ("refreshed,""refreshing,""cool,""comfortable,""refreshed,""refreshing,""relieved,""soothing,""gentle,""calm,""relaxed,""positive,""cheerful," and "motivated") at the following four times. Each evaluation item was rated on a five-point scale: "not at all,""alittle,""moderately,""strongly," and "very strongly."
Timing (a) 5 minutes after entering the room Timing (b) After 3 minutes of squatting ["After exercise" in Figures 2 and 3]
Timing (c) Immediately after use of the sheet cosmetic ["immediately after use" in Figures 2 and 3]
Timing (d): 20 minutes after use of the sheet cosmetic ["20 minutes after use" in Figures 2 and 3]
(2) The obtained evaluation results were scored as follows: “not at all” was scored as “1”, “a little” was scored as “2”, “moderately” was scored as “3”, “strongly” was scored as “4”, and “very strongly” was scored as “5”.
(3) At each timing, the average scores of the 20 subjects were calculated for each of the 14 evaluation items, and this was used as the score for each evaluation item.
(4) The scores for each of the evaluation items, "refreshing,""invigorating,""cool,""comfortable,""refreshed," and "invigorating," were summed to obtain a score for the "refreshment factor." The scores for each of the evaluation items, "relieved,""soothing,""gentle,""calm," and "relaxed," were summed to obtain a score for the "relaxation factor." The scores for each of the evaluation items, "positive,""cheerful," and "motivated," were summed to obtain a score for the "vitality factor."
