中詰材32は、例えば玉石等の自然骨材、コンクリートガラ、各種廃棄物の焼成体等を使用できる。

The mesh size of the bag body 31 is set so that the filling material 32 does not leak out.
The bag body 31 has a lifting rope 33 used for lifting and a mouth tying rope 34 for closing the mouth of the bag body 31.
The hanging rope 33 and the mouth tying rope 34 are attached by passing through the mesh near the mouth of the bag body 31 and going around it. The mouth tying rope 34 is located higher than the hanging rope 33 (closer to the bag mouth).
The filler 32 may be made of natural aggregate such as boulders, concrete rubble, or various types of fired waste.

<4>シート材に対する根固め材の配置
根固め材3は、下方の数か所で根固め材3の袋体31の網目とシート材2の網目にロープ等の連結材35を連通して締結し、シート材2に固定する。
根固め材3は、シート材2を地盤G上に固定する目的の部材であるため、隙間無く据え付ける必要がなく、例えば展張したシート材2の四隅付近等、所定の間隔で設ければ良いため、保護構造体1を安価に製作することができる。

<6>海底長尺物の保護方法
予めシート材2と根固め材3を一体とした保護構造体4の吊りロープ33を吊り下げ治具5に取り付けて、作業船のクレーン(図示せず)等により保護対象となる海底ケーブル4上の海上にて、吊り下げ治具5ごと吊り下げる(図4(a))。吊り下げ治具5は、シート材2を展張した状態で吊り下げることができるように、根固め材3の間隔と同程度の長さを有する。
そして、吊り下げ治具5を海中に吊り降ろし、保護対象となる海底ケーブル4上にシート材2を敷設し、シート材2により海底ケーブル4を覆った状態で根固め材3を地盤G上に載置する(図4(b))。シート材2は柔軟性を有するため、海底ケーブル4の外形に追従して変形し、海底ケーブル4を保護する。また、シート材2そのもので海底ケーブル4を破損することもない。
シート材2は透水性を有するため、吊り降ろす際に潮流等の影響を受けることなく、所定の位置に吊り降ろすことができ、据え付け作業が容易である。また、広い面積を有するシート材2により海底ケーブル4を保護するため、一度に海底ケーブルの広い範囲を覆って保護することができ、施工時間が短縮される。

Since the sheet material 2 is flexible, it deforms to follow the outer shape of the submarine cable 4 and protects the submarine cable 4. Moreover, the sheet material 2 itself will not damage the submarine cable 4.
Since the sheet material 2 is water permeable, it can be lowered to a specified position without being affected by tidal currents, etc., and installation work is easy. In addition, since the submarine cable 4 is protected by the sheet material 2 having a large area, a wide area of the submarine cable can be covered and protected at once, and construction time is shortened.

前記シート材により海底長尺物を覆った状態で前記複数の根固め材を海底の地盤上に敷設可能であることを特徴とする、
