Description
本発明は、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物、及び流体駆動型アクチュエータに関する。 The present invention relates to a silicone rubber-based curable composition and a fluid-driven actuator.
アクチュエータ等を構成する可動部材の一部を形成するために用いられるシリコーンゴムについて様々な開発がなされてきた。この種の技術として、例えば、特許文献1に記載の技術が知られている。特許文献1には、流体駆動型アクチュエータ中のチューブ状弾性体にシリコーンゴムを使用することが記載されている(特許文献1の請求項6等)。 Various developments have been made regarding silicone rubber, which is used to form part of the movable member that constitutes an actuator, etc. One such technology is known, for example, from Patent Document 1. Patent Document 1 describes the use of silicone rubber in a tubular elastic body in a fluid-driven actuator (e.g., claim 6 of Patent Document 1).
しかしながら、本発明者が検討した結果、上記特許文献1に記載のシリコーンゴムにおいて、伸長耐久性及び摩擦耐久性の点で改善の余地があることが判明した。 However, as a result of the inventor's investigations, it was found that there is room for improvement in terms of elongation durability and friction durability in the silicone rubber described in Patent Document 1.
As a result of further investigation, the present inventors have found that, for a silicone rubber-based hardening composition, the elongation durability and friction durability can be controlled by appropriately adjusting the 30% modulus and 300% modulus.
As a result of further intensive research based on this knowledge, the inventors have found that by using the ratio of the 30% modulus to the 300% modulus ( M30 / M300 ) as an index, it is possible to stably evaluate the elongation durability and friction durability, and that by setting the index M30 / M300 to a predetermined value or more, it is possible to realize a silicone rubber that is excellent in elongation durability and friction durability and is suitable for use in fluid-driven actuators, thereby completing the present invention.

以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて説明する。なお、すべての図面において、同様な構成要素には同様の符号を付し、適宜説明を省略する。また、図は概略図であり、実際の寸法比率とは一致していない。 The following describes an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings. Note that in all drawings, similar components are given similar reference symbols and descriptions are omitted where appropriate. Also, the drawings are schematic and do not correspond to the actual dimensional ratios.
本実施形態のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物について説明する。 The silicone rubber-based curable composition of this embodiment will be described.
本実施形態のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、流体駆動型アクチュエータを構成する一部を形成するために用いるものである。
このシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物において、下記の手順で測定される、当該シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物の硬化物の、30%伸張時における引張応力をM30、300%伸張時における引張応力をM300としたとき、M30、M300が、0.25≦M30/M300≦1.0を満たすものである。
The silicone rubber-based hardenable composition of the present embodiment is used to form a part that constitutes a fluid-driven actuator.
In this silicone rubber-based hardenable composition, when the tensile stress at 30% elongation of a cured product of the silicone rubber-based hardenable composition, measured by the following procedure, is defined as M30 and the tensile stress at 300% elongation is defined as M300 , M30 and M300 satisfy 0.25≦ M30 / M300 ≦1.0.
通常のシリコーンゴムにおいて、300%モジュラスを低くなるように組成調整とすると、硬度も低下し、一方、硬度を高くなるように組成調整すると、300%モジュラスも高くなることが知られている。 It is known that in ordinary silicone rubber, if the composition is adjusted to lower the 300% modulus, the hardness also decreases, while if the composition is adjusted to increase the hardness, the 300% modulus also increases.
In response to this, the present inventors have discovered that, as described below, by increasing the molecular weight between crosslinking points in a silicone rubber-based hardening composition or by increasing the bonds between the rubber and the filler, it is possible to increase the hardness and 30% modulus while keeping the 300% modulus low.
It was also found that by using the ratio of the 30% modulus to the 300% modulus ( M30 / M300 ) as an index, it becomes possible to stably evaluate the elongation durability and friction durability, and by setting the index M30 / M300 to the above upper limit or higher, it is possible to realize a silicone rubber that is excellent in elongation durability and friction durability and is suitable for use in fluid-driven actuators.
また、このようなシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物に対して、シリカ粒子(C)の含有量を増加させることや、ビニル基を有するシランカップリング剤の含有量を増加させることによって、300%モジュラスを低くしつつも、さらに硬度を高めることも可能である。 In addition, by increasing the content of silica particles (C) in such a silicone rubber-based hardening composition or by increasing the content of a silane coupling agent having a vinyl group, it is possible to further increase the hardness while lowering the 300% modulus.
このようなシリコーンゴムは、流体駆動型アクチュエータを構成する一部に好適に用いることが可能である。 Such silicone rubber can be suitably used as part of a fluid-driven actuator.
流体駆動型アクチュエータとは、気体や液体などの流体を用いてチューブ部材を膨張または収縮させ、それを機械的運動に変換させる駆動装置である。具体的な流体として、空気、窒素等の気体、水、油等の液体が挙げられる。 A fluid-driven actuator is a driving device that uses a fluid such as gas or liquid to expand or contract a tube member and convert it into mechanical motion. Specific fluids include gases such as air and nitrogen, and liquids such as water and oil.
流体駆動型アクチュエータは、各種の様々な用途に用いることができるが、例えば、介護・福祉・医療・生活・スポーツなどの日常生活や医療現場で使用する人工筋肉、農業・製造・建築等の仕事現場での作業を支援する人工筋肉、ロボットの人工筋肉や間接構造などの駆動装置に用いることができる。 Fluid-driven actuators can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including artificial muscles used in everyday life and medical settings, such as in nursing care, welfare, medical care, lifestyle and sports, artificial muscles that assist in work in agricultural, manufacturing and construction workplaces, and as drive devices for artificial muscles and joint structures in robots.
シリコーンゴムは、300%モジュラスを低く抑えられる。このため、シリコーンゴムで構成されるチューブ部材は、流体圧力によるエネルギーが小さいときでも、膨らみやすいため、より大きな膨張力を発揮でき、機械的運動エネルギーへ変換効率を高められる。 Silicone rubber has a low 300% modulus. Therefore, tube members made of silicone rubber are easy to expand even when the energy from the fluid pressure is small, so they can exert a larger expansion force and increase the efficiency of conversion to mechanical kinetic energy.
このように、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、流体駆動型アクチュエータ中のチューブ部材を形成するために用いることができる。 In this way, the silicone rubber-based curable composition can be used to form a tube member in a fluid-driven actuator.
図1、図2は、流体駆動型アクチュエータ(アクチュエータ100)の構成の一例を示す。
図1のアクチュエータ100は、チューブ10、及びキャップ20を有する。
1 and 2 show an example of the configuration of a fluid-driven actuator (actuator 100).
The
チューブ10は、流体の圧力によって膨張および収縮する筒状弾性体で構成される。筒状弾性体は、本実施形態のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物の硬化物(シリコーンゴム)で構成される。
The
キャップ20は、チューブ10の軸方向の端部に設けられた蓋部材で構成される。キャップ20は、図2(b)に示す孔22を有してもよい。孔22を介して、チューブ10の空間12内に、流体を注入または排出できる。空間12に流体が注入されると、チューブ10は、径方向に膨張し、軸方向に収縮する(図2(b)、図2(c))。すなわち、アクチュエータ100は、チューブ10の軸方向に収縮力、径方向に膨張力を発生する。
The
チューブ10は、アクチュエータ100中や、アクチュエータ100内が搭載された機械中における、他の部材との接触に対して膨張耐久性を高められる。このため、本実施形態のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、流体駆動型アクチュエータに適したチューブ部材を提供できる。
The
また、アクチュエータ100は、チューブ10の外周面を覆う筒状のスリーブを有してもよい。スリーブは、繊維で構成された網目状の補強構造を有する。チューブ10およびスリーブを有するアクチュエータ100は、マッキベン型人工筋肉となる。
The
上記のシリコーンゴムをチューブ10に用いることによって、スリーブとの接触に対して容易膨張性および膨張耐久性を高められる。このため、本実施形態のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、マッキベン型人工筋肉に適したチューブ部材を提供できる。
By using the above silicone rubber for the

Using the cured product of the silicone rubber-based curable composition, dumbbell-shaped No. 3 test pieces are prepared in accordance with JIS K6251 (2004), and the tensile stresses of the resulting dumbbell-shaped No. 3 test pieces at 25°C are measured at 30% and 300% elongation.
M30、M300が、0.25≦M30/M300≦1.0を満たす。
M30/M300の下限は、0.25以上、好ましくは0.30以上、より好ましくは0.40以上である。これにより、伸長耐久性及び摩擦耐久性を向上できる。
一方、M30/M300の上限は、1.0以下、好ましくは0.9以下、より好ましくは0.8以下である。これにより、シリコーンゴムの諸物性のバランスを図ることができる。
M 30 and M 300 satisfy 0.25≦M 30 /M 300 ≦1.0.
The lower limit of M 30 /M 300 is 0.25 or more, preferably 0.30 or more, and more preferably 0.40 or more, whereby the elongation durability and friction durability can be improved.
On the other hand, the upper limit of M 30 /M 300 is not more than 1.0, preferably not more than 0.9, and more preferably not more than 0.8, so that the various physical properties of the silicone rubber can be well balanced.
M300の上限は、例えば、3.0MPa以下、好ましくは2.5MPa以下、より好ましくは2.0MPa以下である。これにより、シリコーンゴムの容易膨張性や伸縮耐久性を向上できる。
一方、M300の下限は、特に限定されないが、例えば、0.1MPa以上、0.6MPa以上、1.0MPa以上としてもよい。
The upper limit of M 300 is, for example, 3.0 MPa or less, preferably 2.5 MPa or less, and more preferably 2.0 MPa or less, which can improve the ease of expansion and the durability against stretching of the silicone rubber.
On the other hand, the lower limit of M 300 is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 0.1 MPa or more, 0.6 MPa or more, or 1.0 MPa or more.
M30の上限は、特に限定されないが、例えば、2.0MPa以下、1.5MPa以下、1.2MPa以下としてもよい。
一方、M30の下限は、例えば、0.3MPa以上、好ましくは0.4MPa以上、より好ましくは0.5MPa以上である。これにより、外部応力に対する変形抵抗力や、摩擦耐久性を高められる。
The upper limit of M30 is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 2.0 MPa or less, 1.5 MPa or less, or 1.2 MPa or less.
On the other hand, the lower limit of M30 is, for example, 0.3 MPa or more, preferably 0.4 MPa or more, and more preferably 0.5 MPa or more, thereby making it possible to increase the deformation resistance against external stress and the friction durability.
The upper limit of the durometer hardness A of the cured product of the silicone rubber-based curable composition, measured by the following procedure, is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 80 or less, preferably 70 or less, and more preferably 65 or less. This allows the cured physical properties of the silicone rubber to be well balanced. This increases the deformability of the silicone rubber, which makes it easier to deform, such as by bending or stretching.
On the other hand, the lower limit of the durometer hardness A is, for example, 40 or more, preferably 42 or more, and more preferably 48 or more. This makes it possible to suppress deformation due to external stress, and also to increase the friction durability and mechanical strength of the silicone rubber.

一方、上記引張強度の上限としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、25MPa以下としてもよい。これにより、シリコーンゴムの諸特性のバランスをとることができる。

On the other hand, the upper limit of the breaking elongation is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 2000% or less, or 1800% or less, so that the various properties of the silicone rubber can be well balanced.

(Procedure for measuring permanent tensile elongation)
A rectangular test piece measuring 60 mm in length and 5 mm in width was prepared by punching out the cured product of the silicone rubber-based curable composition in the thickness direction.
When the chuck distance (initial value) is 100% (40 mm), a rectangular test piece having a length of 60 mm is stretched 300% at 25° C. and a speed of 500 mm/min until the chuck distance becomes 400% (160 mm), and held for 1 minute. Thereafter, the force is removed to allow the specimen to shrink, and the specimen is left for 10 minutes, after which the chuck distance (length after stretching) is measured.
Using the chuck distance (initial value) and the chuck distance (length after stretching), the permanent tensile elongation is calculated from the following formula.
Permanent tensile elongation (%) = [(length after stretching - initial value) / initial value] x 100
The lower limit of the tear strength of the cured product of the silicone rubber-based curable composition, measured by the following procedure, is, for example, 25 N/mm or more, preferably 28 N/mm or more, more preferably 30 N/mm or more, even more preferably 33 N/mm or more, and even more preferably 34 N/mm or more. This can improve the durability of the silicone rubber during repeated use. In addition, the scratch resistance and mechanical strength of the silicone rubber can be improved.
On the other hand, the upper limit of the tear strength is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, 80 N/mm or less, or 70 N/mm or less, which allows the various properties of the silicone rubber to be well balanced.
(引裂強度の測定手順)
シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物の硬化物を用いて、JIS K6252(2001)に準拠して、クレセント形試験片を作製し、25℃における、得られたクレセント形試験片の引裂強度を測定する。
(Procedure for measuring tear strength)
A crescent-shaped test piece is prepared from the cured product of the silicone rubber-based curable composition in accordance with JIS K6252 (2001), and the tear strength of the resulting crescent-shaped test piece at 25° C. is measured.
In this embodiment, for example, by appropriately selecting the type and amount of each component contained in the silicone rubber-based hardenable composition, the preparation method of the silicone rubber-based hardenable composition, and the like, it is possible to control the above-mentioned M30 / M300 , hardness, tensile stress at 30% and 300% elongation, tensile strength, elongation at break, permanent tensile elongation, and tear strength. Among these, examples of factors for setting the above M30/M300, hardness, tensile stress at 30% and 300% elongation, tensile strength, elongation at break, permanent tensile elongation, and tear strength within the desired numerical ranges include appropriately controlling the type and compounding ratio of the resin constituting the silicone rubber, the crosslinking density and crosslinking structure of the resin, improving the compounding ratio of the inorganic filler and the bond of the inorganic filler with the rubber, specifically, not using a second vinyl group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-2) having a vinyl group content of more than 0.4 mol %, but using a first vinyl group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-1) having two vinyl groups only at the terminals in the molecule and having a vinyl group content of 0.4 mol% or less, using a silane coupling agent having a vinyl group, and appropriately adjusting the content of the silica particles (C) and the content of the silane coupling agent.
Although the detailed mechanism is unclear, it is believed that by using the first vinyl-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-1) with a vinyl group content of 0.4 mol% or less without using the second vinyl-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-2), it is possible to increase the molecular weight between crosslinking points in the silicone rubber compared to using them in combination, and by using a silane coupling agent having a vinyl group, it is possible to increase the bond between the rubber and the silica particles (C). This increases the strength while also increasing the breaking strength and elongation at break, and keeps the 300% modulus low, thereby improving elongation durability and friction durability.

なお、式(3)中、複数のR7は互いに独立したものであり、互いに異なっていてもよいし、同じであってもよい。 In addition, in formula (3), multiple R 7s are independent of each other and may be different from each other or may be the same.
また、式(3)中、「-O-Si≡」は、Siが三次元に広がる分岐構造を有することを表している。 In addition, in formula (3), "-O-Si≡" indicates that Si has a branched structure that extends three-dimensionally.
なお、分岐状オルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン(B2)は、1種のみを単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。 The branched organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B2) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
In addition, the amount of hydrogen atoms (hydride groups) directly bonded to Si in the linear organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B1) and the branched organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B2) is not particularly limited. However, in the silicone rubber-based curable composition, the total amount of hydride groups in the linear organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B1) and the branched organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B2) is preferably 0.5 to 5 moles, more preferably 1 to 3.5 moles, per mole of vinyl groups in the vinyl group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1). This ensures that a crosslinked network is formed between the linear organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B1) and the branched organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B2) and the vinyl group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1).
<<シリカ粒子(C)>>
シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、ビニル基含有ポリオルガノシロキサン(A)と、シリカ粒子(C)と、を含んでもよい。
<<Silica Particles (C)>>
The silicone rubber-based hardenable composition may contain a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane (A) and silica particles (C).
シリカ粒子(C)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ヒュームドシリカ、焼成シリカ、沈降シリカ等が用いられる。これらを単独で用いても2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。 The silica particles (C) are not particularly limited, but for example, fumed silica, calcined silica, precipitated silica, etc. may be used. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more types.
シリカ粒子(C)は、例えば、BET法による比表面積は、例えば、50m2/g~400m2/g、好ましくは100m2/g~400m2/g、より好ましくは200m2/g~400m2/gである。 The silica particles (C) have a specific surface area, as measured by the BET method, of, for example, 50 m 2 /g to 400 m 2 /g, preferably 100 m 2 /g to 400 m 2 /g, and more preferably 200 m 2 /g to 400 m 2 /g.
シリカ粒子(C)の平均一次粒径は、例えば、1nm~100nmであるのが好ましく、5nm~20nm程度であるのがより好ましい。 The average primary particle size of the silica particles (C) is, for example, preferably 1 nm to 100 nm, and more preferably about 5 nm to 20 nm.
シリカ粒子(C)として、かかる比表面積および平均粒径の範囲内であるものを用いることにより、形成されるシリコーンゴムの硬さや機械的強度の向上、特に引張強度の向上をさせることができる。 By using silica particles (C) that have a specific surface area and average particle size within this range, the hardness and mechanical strength of the silicone rubber formed can be improved, particularly the tensile strength.
<<シランカップリング剤(D)>>
シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、シランカップリング剤(D)を含んでもよい。
<<Silane coupling agent (D)>>
The silicone rubber-based curable composition may contain a silane coupling agent (D).
シランカップリング剤(D)は、加水分解性基を有することができる。加水分解基が水により加水分解されて水酸基になり、この水酸基がシリカ粒子(C)表面の水酸基と脱水縮合反応することで、シリカ粒子(C)の表面改質を行うことができる。 The silane coupling agent (D) can have a hydrolyzable group. The hydrolyzable group is hydrolyzed by water to become a hydroxyl group, and this hydroxyl group undergoes a dehydration condensation reaction with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of the silica particles (C), thereby modifying the surface of the silica particles (C).
The silane coupling agent (D) may include a silane coupling agent having a vinyl group.
This allows vinyl group to be introduced to the surface of silica particle (C).Therefore, when silicone rubber-based curable composition is cured, that is, when the vinyl group of vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) and the hydride group of organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) undergo hydrosilylation reaction to form a network (crosslinked structure) by these, the vinyl group of silica particle (C) also participates in the hydrosilylation reaction with the hydride group of organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B), so that silica particle (C) is also taken into the network. This allows the silicone rubber formed to have low hardness and high modulus.
The silane coupling agent (D) may contain a silane coupling agent having a hydrophobic group. This provides the surface of the silica particles (C) with this hydrophobic group, which reduces the cohesive force of the silica particles (C) in the silicone rubber-based curable composition and, in turn, in the silicone rubber (less cohesion due to hydrogen bonds caused by silanol groups). As a result, it is presumed that the dispersibility of the silica particles in the silicone rubber-based curable composition is improved. This increases the interface between the silica particles and the rubber matrix, enhancing the reinforcing effect of the silica particles. Furthermore, it is presumed that the slipperiness of the silica particles in the matrix is improved during deformation of the rubber matrix. And, due to the improved dispersibility and slipperiness of the silica particles (C), the mechanical strength (e.g., tensile strength, tear strength, etc.) of the silicone rubber due to the silica particles (C) is improved.
シランカップリング剤(D)は、ビニル基を有するシランカップリング剤と疎水性基を有するシランカップリング剤とを含んでもよい。 The silane coupling agent (D) may contain a silane coupling agent having a vinyl group and a silane coupling agent having a hydrophobic group.
シランカップリング剤(D)としては、例えば、下記式(4)で表わされるものが挙げられる。 Examples of the silane coupling agent (D) include those represented by the following formula (4):
Yn-Si-(X)4-n・・・(4)
上記式(4)中、nは1~3の整数を表わす。Yは、疎水性基、親水性基またはビニル基を有するもののうちのいずれかの官能基を表わし、nが1の時は疎水性基であり、nが2または3の時はその少なくとも1つが疎水性基である。Xは、加水分解性基を表わす。
Yn -Si-(X) 4-n ... (4)
In the above formula (4), n represents an integer of 1 to 3. Y represents any functional group having a hydrophobic group, a hydrophilic group, or a vinyl group, and when n is 1, it is a hydrophobic group, and when n is 2 or 3, at least one of them is a hydrophobic group. X represents a hydrolyzable group.
疎水性基は、炭素数1~6のアルキル基、アリール基、またはこれらを組み合わせた炭化水素基であり、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、フェニル基等が挙げられ、中でも、特に、メチル基が好ましい。 The hydrophobic group is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl group, or a hydrocarbon group that is a combination of these. Examples include a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, and a phenyl group, and among these, a methyl group is particularly preferred.
また、親水性基は、例えば、水酸基、スルホン酸基、カルボキシル基またはカルボニル基等が挙げられ、中でも、特に、水酸基が好ましい。なお、親水性基は、官能基として含まれていてもよいが、シランカップリング剤(D)に疎水性を付与するという観点からは含まれていないのが好ましい。 Examples of hydrophilic groups include hydroxyl groups, sulfonic acid groups, carboxyl groups, and carbonyl groups, and among these, hydroxyl groups are particularly preferred. Note that hydrophilic groups may be included as functional groups, but it is preferable that they are not included from the viewpoint of imparting hydrophobicity to the silane coupling agent (D).
さらに、加水分解性基は、メトキシ基、エトキシ基のようなアルコキシ基、クロロ基またはシラザン基等が挙げられ、中でも、シリカ粒子(C)との反応性が高いことから、シラザン基が好ましい。なお、加水分解性基としてシラザン基を有するものは、その構造上の特性から、上記式(4)中の(Yn-Si-)の構造を2つ有するものとなる。 Further, examples of the hydrolyzable group include alkoxy groups such as methoxy and ethoxy groups, chloro groups, and silazane groups, among which silazane groups are preferred due to their high reactivity with silica particles (C). Note that those having silazane groups as hydrolyzable groups have two (Y n -Si-) structures in the above formula (4) due to their structural characteristics.
Specific examples of the silane coupling agent (D) represented by the above formula (4) include, for example, alkoxysilanes such as methyltrimethoxysilane, dimethyldimethoxysilane, phenyltrimethoxysilane, methyltriethoxysilane, dimethyldiethoxysilane, phenyltriethoxysilane, n-propyltrimethoxysilane, n-propyltriethoxysilane, hexyltrimethoxysilane, hexyltriethoxysilane, and decyltrimethoxysilane; chlorosilanes such as methyltrichlorosilane, dimethyldichlorosilane, trimethylchlorosilane, and phenyltrichlorosilane; and hexamethyldisilazane, which have a hydrophobic group as a functional group. Examples of the silane having a vinyl group include alkoxysilanes such as methacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane, methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, methacryloxypropylmethyldiethoxysilane, methacryloxypropylmethyldimethoxysilane, vinyltriethoxysilane, vinyltrimethoxysilane, and vinylmethyldimethoxysilane; chlorosilanes such as vinyltrichlorosilane and vinylmethyldichlorosilane; and divinyltetramethyldisilazane. Among these, taking into consideration the above description, it is particularly preferable that the silane having a hydrophobic group is hexamethyldisilazane, and the silane having a vinyl group is divinyltetramethyldisilazane.
<<白金または白金化合物(E)>>
シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は、白金または白金化合物(E)を含むことができる。
白金または白金化合物(E)は、硬化の際の触媒として作用する触媒成分である。白金または白金化合物(E)の添加量は触媒量である。
<<Platinum or platinum compound (E)>>
The silicone rubber-based curable composition may contain platinum or a platinum compound (E).
The platinum or platinum compound (E) is a catalytic component that acts as a catalyst during curing. The amount of platinum or platinum compound (E) added is a catalytic amount.
白金または白金化合物(E)としては、公知のものを使用することができ、例えば、白金黒、白金をシリカやカーボンブラック等に担持させたもの、塩化白金酸または塩化白金酸のアルコール溶液、塩化白金酸とオレフィンの錯塩、塩化白金酸とビニルシロキサンとの錯塩等が挙げられる。 As the platinum or platinum compound (E), known substances can be used, such as platinum black, platinum supported on silica or carbon black, chloroplatinic acid or an alcohol solution of chloroplatinic acid, a complex salt of chloroplatinic acid and an olefin, and a complex salt of chloroplatinic acid and a vinyl siloxane.
なお、白金または白金化合物(E)は、1種のみを単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。 The platinum or platinum compound (E) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
<<水(F)>>
また、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物には、上記成分(A)~(E)以外に、水(F)が含まれていてもよい。
<<Water (F)>>
The silicone rubber-based hardening composition may further contain water (F) in addition to the above components (A) to (E).
水(F)は、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物に含まれる各成分を分散させる分散媒として機能するとともに、シリカ粒子(C)とシランカップリング剤(D)との反応に寄与する成分である。そのため、シリコーンゴム中において、シリカ粒子(C)とシランカップリング剤(D)とを、より確実に互いに連結したものとすることができ、全体として均一な特性を発揮することができる。 Water (F) functions as a dispersion medium to disperse each component contained in the silicone rubber-based curable composition, and is also a component that contributes to the reaction between the silica particles (C) and the silane coupling agent (D). Therefore, the silica particles (C) and the silane coupling agent (D) can be more reliably linked to each other in the silicone rubber, and uniform properties can be exhibited overall.
Furthermore, the silicone rubber-based hardening composition of this embodiment may contain, in addition to the above components (A) to (F), known additive components that are blended into silicone rubber-based hardening compositions. Examples include diatomaceous earth, iron oxide, zinc oxide, titanium oxide, barium oxide, magnesium oxide, cerium oxide, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, zinc carbonate, glass wool, and mica. In addition, dispersants, pigments, dyes, antistatic agents, antioxidants, flame retardants, thermal conductivity enhancers, and the like may be blended as appropriate.
なお、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物において、各成分の含有割合は特に限定されないが、例えば、以下のように設定される。 In addition, the content ratio of each component in the silicone rubber-based hardening composition is not particularly limited, but is set, for example, as follows.
The upper limit of the content of the silica particles (C) in the silicone rubber-based curable composition may be, for example, 80 parts by weight or less, 75 parts by weight or less, or 70 parts by weight or less, based on 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), which allows for a good balance between hardness and mechanical strength such as tensile strength.
The lower limit of the content of the silica particles (C) is, for example, 30 parts by weight or more, preferably 35 parts by weight or more, and more preferably 40 parts by weight or more, per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), which makes it possible to increase the hardness.
シランカップリング剤(D)は、ビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)100重量部に対し、例えば、シランカップリング剤(D)が5重量部以上100重量部以下の割合で含有するのが好ましく、5重量部以上40重量部以下の割合で含有するのがより好ましい。これにより、シリカ粒子(C)のシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物中における分散性を確実に向上させることができる。 The silane coupling agent (D) is preferably contained in an amount of 5 parts by weight or more and 100 parts by weight or less, and more preferably 5 parts by weight or more and 40 parts by weight or less, per 100 parts by weight of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A). This can reliably improve the dispersibility of the silica particles (C) in the silicone rubber-based curable composition.
The lower limit of the content of the silane coupling agent having a vinyl group is, for example, 0.5 parts by weight or more, preferably 1 part by weight or more, and more preferably 3 parts by weight or more, per 100 parts by weight of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A). This makes it possible to reduce the 300% modulus while increasing the hardness.
On the other hand, the upper limit of the content of the silane coupling agent having a vinyl group may be, for example, 10 parts by weight or less, or 8 parts by weight or less, per 100 parts by weight of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A).
疎水性基を有するシランカップリング剤とビニル基を有するシランカップリング剤との配合比率は、重量比で、例えば、1:0.01以上1:1.5以下、好ましくは1:0.1以上1:1以下、より好ましくは1:0.2以上1:0.95以下である。このような範囲内とすることによって、諸物性のバランスを図ることができる。 The blending ratio of the silane coupling agent having a hydrophobic group to the silane coupling agent having a vinyl group is, for example, 1:0.01 or more and 1:1.5 or less, preferably 1:0.1 or more and 1:1 or less, and more preferably 1:0.2 or more and 1:0.95 or less, by weight. By keeping it within this range, it is possible to achieve a balance between the various physical properties.
オルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン(B)の含有量は、具体的にビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)及びシリカ粒子(C)及びシランカップリング剤(D)の合計量100重量部に対して、例えば、0.5重量部以上20重量部以下の割合で含有することが好ましく、0.8重量部以上15重量部以下の割合で含有するのがより好ましい。(B)の含有量が前記範囲内であることで、より効果的な硬化反応ができる可能性がある。 The content of organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) is preferably, for example, 0.5 parts by weight or more and 20 parts by weight or less, and more preferably 0.8 parts by weight or more and 15 parts by weight or less, per 100 parts by weight of the total amount of vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), silica particles (C), and silane coupling agent (D). By keeping the content of (B) within the above range, a more effective curing reaction may be achieved.
The content of platinum or platinum compound (E) means a catalytic amount and can be set appropriately, but specifically, it is an amount such that the platinum group metal in this component is 0.01 to 1000 ppm by weight, preferably 0.1 to 500 ppm, relative to the total amount of vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), silica particles (C), and silane coupling agent (D). By making the content of platinum or platinum compound (E) equal to or greater than the above lower limit, the obtained silicone rubber composition can be sufficiently cured. By making the content of platinum or platinum compound (E) equal to or less than the above upper limit, the curing speed of the obtained silicone rubber composition can be improved.
さらに、水(F)を含有する場合、その含有量は、適宜設定することができるが、具体的には、シランカップリング剤(D)100重量部に対して、例えば、10~100重量部の範囲であるのが好ましく、30~70重量部の範囲であるのがより好ましい。これにより、シランカップリング剤(D)とシリカ粒子(C)との反応をより確実に進行させることができる。 Furthermore, when water (F) is contained, its content can be set appropriately, but specifically, for example, it is preferably in the range of 10 to 100 parts by weight, and more preferably in the range of 30 to 70 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the silane coupling agent (D). This allows the reaction between the silane coupling agent (D) and the silica particles (C) to proceed more reliably.
<シリコーンゴムの製造方法>
次に、本実施形態のシリコーンゴムの製造方法について説明する。
本実施形態のシリコーンゴムの製造方法としては、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を調製し、このシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を硬化させることによりシリコーンゴムを得ることができる。
以下、詳述する。
<Method of manufacturing silicone rubber>
Next, a method for producing the silicone rubber of this embodiment will be described.
In the method for producing the silicone rubber of this embodiment, a silicone rubber-based hardening composition is prepared, and the silicone rubber can be obtained by hardening the silicone rubber-based hardening composition.
Details are provided below.
まず、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物の各成分を、任意の混練装置により、均一に混合してシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を調製する。 First, the components of the silicone rubber-based hardening composition are mixed uniformly using any kneading device to prepare the silicone rubber-based hardening composition.
[1]たとえば、ビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)と、シリカ粒子(C)と、シランカップリング剤(D)とを所定量秤量し、その後、任意の混練装置により、混練することで、これら各成分(A)、(C)、(D)を含有する混練物を得る。 [1] For example, a predetermined amount of vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), silica particles (C), and silane coupling agent (D) are weighed out, and then kneaded using any kneading device to obtain a kneaded product containing these components (A), (C), and (D).
なお、この混練物は、予めビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)とシランカップリング剤(D)とを混練し、その後、シリカ粒子(C)を混練(混合)して得るのが好ましい。これにより、ビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)中におけるシリカ粒子(C)の分散性がより向上する。 It is preferable to prepare this mixture by first kneading the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) with the silane coupling agent (D) and then kneading (mixing) the silica particles (C). This further improves the dispersibility of the silica particles (C) in the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A).
また、この混練物を得る際には、水(F)を必要に応じて、各成分(A)、(C)、および(D)の混練物に添加するようにしてもよい。これにより、シランカップリング剤(D)とシリカ粒子(C)との反応をより確実に進行させることができる。 When obtaining this kneaded mixture, water (F) may be added to the kneaded mixture of components (A), (C), and (D) as necessary. This allows the reaction between the silane coupling agent (D) and the silica particles (C) to proceed more reliably.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the kneading of each of the components (A), (C), and (D) is carried out through a first step of heating at a first temperature and a second step of heating at a second temperature. This allows the surface of the silica particles (C) to be surface-treated with the coupling agent (D) in the first step, and allows the by-products generated by the reaction between the silica particles (C) and the coupling agent (D) to be reliably removed from the kneaded mixture in the second step. Thereafter, component (A) may be added to the obtained kneaded mixture as necessary, and further kneaded. This allows the compatibility of the components in the kneaded mixture to be improved.
第1温度は、例えば、40~120℃程度であるのが好ましく、例えば、60~90℃程度であるのがより好ましい。第2温度は、例えば、130~210℃程度であるのが好ましく、例えば、160~180℃程度であるのがより好ましい。 The first temperature is preferably, for example, about 40 to 120°C, and more preferably, for example, about 60 to 90°C. The second temperature is preferably, for example, about 130 to 210°C, and more preferably, for example, about 160 to 180°C.
また、第1ステップにおける雰囲気は、窒素雰囲気下のような不活性雰囲気下であるのが好ましく、第2ステップにおける雰囲気は、減圧雰囲気下であるのが好ましい。 The atmosphere in the first step is preferably an inert atmosphere such as a nitrogen atmosphere, and the atmosphere in the second step is preferably a reduced pressure atmosphere.
さらに、第1ステップの時間は、例えば、0.3~1.5時間程度であるのが好ましく、0.5~1.2時間程度であるのがより好ましい。第2ステップの時間は、例えば、0.7~3.0時間程度であるのが好ましく、1.0~2.0時間程度であるのがより好ましい。 Furthermore, the time for the first step is, for example, preferably about 0.3 to 1.5 hours, and more preferably about 0.5 to 1.2 hours. The time for the second step is, for example, preferably about 0.7 to 3.0 hours, and more preferably about 1.0 to 2.0 hours.
第1ステップおよび第2ステップを、上記のような条件とすることで、前記効果をより顕著に得ることができる。 By setting the above conditions for the first and second steps, the above effects can be obtained more significantly.
[2]次に、オルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン(B)と、白金または白金化合物(E)とを所定量秤量し、その後、任意の混練装置を用いて、上記工程[1]で調製した混練物に、各成分(B)、(E)を混練することで、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を得る。得られたシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物は溶剤を含むペーストであってもよい。 [2] Next, predetermined amounts of organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) and platinum or platinum compound (E) are weighed out, and then, using any kneading device, the components (B) and (E) are kneaded into the mixture prepared in the above step [1] to obtain a silicone rubber-based curable composition. The obtained silicone rubber-based curable composition may be a paste containing a solvent.
When mixing the components (B) and (E), it is preferable to first mix the mixture prepared in step [1] above with the organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B), and then mix the mixture prepared in step [1] above with platinum or a platinum compound (E), and then mix the mixtures together. This allows the components (A) to (E) to be reliably dispersed in the silicone rubber-based curable composition without allowing the reaction between the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) and the organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) to proceed.
各成分(B)、(E)を混練する際の温度は、ロール設定温度として、例えば、10~70℃程度であるのが好ましく、25~30℃程度であるのがより好ましい。 The temperature at which components (B) and (E) are kneaded is, for example, preferably about 10 to 70°C, and more preferably about 25 to 30°C, as the roll setting temperature.
さらに、混練する時間は、例えば、5分~1時間程度であるのが好ましく、10~40分程度であるのがより好ましい。 Furthermore, the kneading time is preferably, for example, about 5 minutes to 1 hour, and more preferably about 10 to 40 minutes.
上記工程[1]および上記工程[2]において、温度を上記範囲内とすることにより、ビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)とオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン(B)との反応の進行をより的確に防止または抑制することができる。また、上記工程[1]および上記工程[2]において、混練時間を上記範囲内とすることにより、各成分(A)~(E)をシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物中により確実に分散させることができる。 In the above steps [1] and [2], by setting the temperature within the above range, the progress of the reaction between the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) and the organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) can be more accurately prevented or suppressed. In addition, in the above steps [1] and [2], by setting the kneading time within the above range, each of the components (A) to (E) can be more reliably dispersed in the silicone rubber-based curable composition.
なお、各工程[1]、[2]において使用される混練装置としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ニーダー、2本ロール、バンバリーミキサー(連続ニーダー)、加圧ニーダー等を用いることができる。 The kneading device used in each step [1] and [2] is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, a kneader, a two-roll mill, a Banbury mixer (continuous kneader), a pressure kneader, etc.
また、本工程[2]において、混練物中に1-エチニルシクロヘキサノールのような反応抑制剤を添加するようにしてもよい。これにより、混練物の温度が比較的高い温度に設定されたとしても、ビニル基含有オルガノポリシロキサン(A)とオルガノハイドロジェンポリシロキサン(B)との反応の進行をより的確に防止または抑制することができる。 In addition, in this step [2], a reaction inhibitor such as 1-ethynylcyclohexanol may be added to the kneaded mixture. This makes it possible to more accurately prevent or inhibit the progress of the reaction between the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) and the organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) even if the temperature of the kneaded mixture is set to a relatively high temperature.
[3]次に、シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を硬化させることによりシリコーンゴムを形成する。 [3] Next, the silicone rubber-based curable composition is cured to form silicone rubber.

(Synthesis of vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A))
[Synthesis Scheme 1: Synthesis of low-vinyl-group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-1)]
A low-vinyl-group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-1) was synthesized according to the following formula (5).
That is, 74.7 g (252 mmol) of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and 0.1 g of potassium siliconate were placed in a 300 mL separable flask equipped with a cooling tube and stirring blade and substituted with Ar gas, and the temperature was raised and the mixture was stirred for 30 minutes at 120° C. During this time, an increase in viscosity was confirmed.
The mixture was then heated to 155° C. and stirred for 3 hours, after which 0.1 g (0.6 mmol) of 1,3-divinyltetramethyldisiloxane was added and the mixture was stirred at 155° C. for a further 4 hours.
After 4 hours, the mixture was diluted with 250 mL of toluene and washed three times with water. The washed organic layer was washed several times with 1.5 L of methanol for reprecipitation purification, and the oligomer and polymer were separated. The resulting polymer was dried overnight under reduced pressure at 60° C. to obtain a low-vinyl-group-containing linear organopolysiloxane (A1-1) (Mn=2.2×10 5 , Mw=4.8×10 5 ). The vinyl group content calculated by H-NMR spectrum measurement was 0.04 mol%.
A vinyl-rich linear organopolysiloxane (A1-2) was synthesized as shown in formula (6) below in the same manner as in the synthesis of (A1-1) above, except that 0.86 g (2.5 mmol) of 2,4,6,8-tetramethyl-2,4,6,8-tetravinylcyclotetrasiloxane was used in addition to 74.7 g (252 mmol) of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. (Mn=2.3×10 5 , Mw=5.0×10 5 ). The vinyl group content calculated by H-NMR spectrum measurement was 0.93 mol%.
(Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3: Preparation of Silicone Rubber-Based Curable Compositions)
A silicone rubber-based hardenable composition was prepared as follows.
First, a mixture of 90% vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A), silane coupling agent (D), and water (F) was pre-kneaded in the proportions shown in Table 1 below, and then silica particles (C) were added to the mixture and further kneaded to obtain a kneaded product (silicone rubber compound).
Here, the kneading after the addition of the silica particles (C) was carried out through a first step of kneading for 1 hour under conditions of 60 to 90°C in a nitrogen atmosphere for the coupling reaction, and a second step of kneading for 2 hours under conditions of 160 to 180°C in a reduced pressure atmosphere for the removal of the by-product (ammonia), followed by cooling, and then adding the remaining 10% of the vinyl group-containing organopolysiloxane (A) in two portions and kneading for 20 minutes.
Next, organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) (TC-25D) and platinum or platinum compound (E) (TC-25A) were added in the ratios shown in Table 1 below to 100 parts by weight of the resulting kneaded product (silicone rubber compound), and the mixture was kneaded with a roll to obtain a silicone rubber-based curable composition.
(評価用シリコーンゴムの作製)
実施例1、2、比較例1、2において、得られたシリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物を、170℃、10MPaで10分間プレスし、厚さ1mmのシート状に成形すると共に、1次硬化した。続いて、200℃で4時間加熱し、2次硬化した。以上により、シート状シリコーンゴム(シリコーンゴム系硬化性組成物の硬化物)を得た。
