A pair of washers 231 and a pair of spring washers 232 are also inserted into the pair of bolts 211, respectively.

(3) Panel Mounting Method Next, the panel mounting method shown in Figures 1 to 3 will be described. The panel mounting method is a method for mounting a plurality of panels P1, P2, P3, ... on a base material 1 of a building in order from above. The panel mounting method includes first to third steps. Each of the first to third steps will be described in detail below.

(3-1) First Step In the first step, of the multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ..., the lower panel Pn+1, which is supported from below by a panel support 7 connected to a hanging device 6, is moved from below the upper panel Pn to a connection position where the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 is inserted into the lower end of the upper panel Pn to connect them.

More specifically, an upper panel Pn (panel P1) is fixed to the base material 1. The panel P1 is fixed to the base material 1 by a fastener (not shown), such as a screw, that is driven into the base material 1 from the groove portion 16. The panel P1 may also be fixed to the base material 1 by a mounting fixture 9.

As shown in FIG. 1A, first, the lower panel Pn+1 (panel P2) supported from below by the panel support 7 is suspended by the suspension device 6 via the panel support 7 and the suspension member 60. At this time, the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 is supported by the upper support member 75 attached to the panel support 7, thereby suspending and supporting the lower panel Pn+1 in a position approximately parallel to the vertical direction (see FIG. 6).

Next, while the lower panel Pn+1 is suspended by the suspension device 6, the tension member 77 is pulled from behind the base material 1 to align the lower panel Pn+1 with the front surface of the base material 1.

Next, as shown in FIG. 1B, the first mounting member 21 is attached by penetrating it into the groove portion 16 at the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1, and the portions of the pair of bolts 211 of the first mounting member 21 that protrude from the lower panel Pn+1 toward the base material 1 (rear side) are inserted into the pair of insertion portions 221 of the second mounting member 22, and the hook portions 220 of the second mounting member 22 are hooked onto the base material 1.

Next, the pair of washers 231, the pair of spring washers 232, and the pair of nuts 230 are attached in this order to the pair of bolts 211 of the first mounting member 21. At this time, each of the pair of nuts 230 is stopped at a temporary fastening position before (rearward) of the fastening position where the pair of nuts 230 contact the pair of insertion portions 221 via the pair of washers 231 and the pair of spring washers 232.

Next, the upper support member 75 is removed from the panel support 7, and the lower panel Pn+1 is moved upward from below the upper panel Pn by the hanging device 6. By moving the lower panel Pn+1 upward along the front surface of the base material 1 in this manner, the lower panel Pn+1 is moved to a connection position where its upper end is inserted into and connected to the lower end of the upper panel Pn, as shown in FIG. 2A.

When in the connected position, the convex portion 12 of the upper panel Pn fits into the concave portion 15 of the lower panel Pn+1, the cover portion 11 of the upper panel Pn fits into the concave step portion 14 of the lower panel Pn+1, and the second cover portion 13 of the upper panel Pn fits into the space behind the concave portion 15 of the lower panel Pn+1. At this time, the cover portion 11 of the upper panel Pn is positioned in front of the long plate portion 210 of the first mounting member 21, covering and concealing the long plate portion 210.

(3-2) Second Step In the second step, the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 in the connection position is fixed to the base material 1 while the lower panel Pn+1 is supported by the panel support 7.

In more detail, first, as shown in FIG. 2B, the hook portion 220 of the second mounting member 22 is fixed to the base material 1 by a pair of fasteners 24. Next, the pair of nuts 230 are rotated from the temporary fastening position to the fastening position to fasten (tighten). As a result, the upper end portion of the lower panel Pn+1 is fixed to the base material 1.

(3-3) Third Step In the third step, the panel support 7 is removed from the lower panel Pn+1. After the panel support 7 is removed, the lower panel Pn+1 is supported by the base material 1 alone.

After carrying out the first, second, and third steps described above, panels P1, P2, and P3 are attached to the base material 1 as shown in Figures 3A and 3B by carrying out the first, second, and third steps described above with panel P2 as the upper panel Pn and panel P3 as the lower panel Pn+1.

In other words, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, the above-mentioned first, second, and third steps are repeated in this order to mount multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... on the base material 1. The multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... are mounted in a state where the ends of two panels that are adjacent to each other vertically are connected to each other. Furthermore, when the multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... are mounted on the base material 1, the surfaces facing the front are flush with each other.

(4) Exterior Wall Structure Next, an example of an exterior wall structure 2 formed by a plurality of panels P1, P2, P3, . . . attached to a base material 1 will be described.

As shown in Figures 8A and 8B, in the exterior wall structure 2, each of the multiple panels (in this embodiment, panels P1 to P6) is fixed to the base material 1 via mounting fixtures 9. The top panel P1 may be fixed to the base material 1 with a fastener such as a screw.

The base material 1 further includes a base 100 made of a square pipe with its longitudinal direction extending left-right. The base 100 is placed on the foundation 101 of the building.

The exterior wall structure 2 further includes a support member 102 fixed to the base 100, a drainage member 103 fixed to the base 100, and a fastener 104 that fixes the support member 102 and the drainage member 103 to the base 100.

Multiple panels P1 to P6 are attached to the base material 1 in order from the top. After the bottom panel P6 is attached, a support member 102 and a drainage member 103 are fixed to the base 100 by a fixing device 104. The convex portion 12 of the panel P6 is placed on the support member 102. The support member 102 is provided with a stopper 105 that fits between the cover portion 11 and the convex portion 12 of the panel P6. The load of the panel P6 is supported by the mounting device 9 and the support member 102.

(5) Action and effect In the panel mounting method of this embodiment described above, by repeating the first step, the second step, and the third step in this order, multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... can be mounted on the base material 1 in order from the top.

In addition, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, the lower panel Pn+1 is suspended and supported from below by a panel support 7 that supports the panel from below so that its upper end is exposed, so that the panel support 7 does not get in the way when the lower panel Pn+1 is moved to the connection position or when the lower panel Pn+1 in the connection position is fixed to the base material 1.

Therefore, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, the lower panel Pn+1 can be moved to the connection position and fixed to the base material 1 while being suspended, eliminating the need for the installer to manually support the weight of the lower panel Pn+1, thereby reducing the burden on the installer.

In addition, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, the first mounting member 21 that penetrates the lower panel Pn+1 from the groove portion 16 toward the base material 1 is covered from the front side by the cover portion 11 of the upper panel Pn, thereby reducing exposure of the first mounting member 21 and ensuring waterproofing.

In addition, the panel support 7 of this embodiment supports the lower panel Pn+1 from below, and the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 can also be supported by the upper support member 75, so the lower panel Pn+1 can be stably suspended and supported. In addition, since the upper support member 75 is detachable, it can be removed when not needed and does not get in the way when, for example, moving the lower panel Pn+1 to the connection position.

In addition, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, the posture of the lower panel Pn+1 can be controlled from the indoor side (rear side) using tension members 77, etc., and the lower panel Pn+1 can be fixed to the base material 1 from the indoor side (rear side). Therefore, in the panel mounting method of this embodiment, it is not necessary to set up temporary scaffolding outside (in front of the lower panel Pn+1), and it is also not necessary to arrange for a contractor for high-altitude work, which reduces costs and enables construction in narrow areas where it is difficult to set up temporary scaffolding.

(6) Modifications Next, modifications of the above-mentioned panel mounting method will be described.

The panel installation method is not limited to exterior wall construction, but can also be used for interior wall construction.

The mounting device 9 is not limited to the above-mentioned structure and can be modified as appropriate. For example, the first mounting member 21 may not have the long plate portion 210 and may be composed of only a pair of bolts 211. Alternatively, as shown in the modified example of FIG. 9, the mounting device 9 may have a first mounting member 21 with only one bolt 211, and a second mounting member 22 with an L-shaped hook portion 220 in a plan view and one insertion portion 221.

The multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... do not have to be the same in shape, size, or material. For example, panel P1 does not have to have a connection structure (recessed step portion 14, recessed portion 15, and grooved streak portion 16) at the upper end. In addition, the multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... may have different lengths in the up-down direction.

The method of fixing the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 at the connection position to the base material 1 is not limited to the method using the mounting fixture 9, and other methods may be used. For example, a drill screw may be driven into the base material 1 from the rear side, and the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 may be fixed to the base material 1 by this drill screw.

(7) Summary Like the panel mounting methods of the embodiment and its modified examples described above, the panel mounting method of the first aspect has the following features.

That is, the first aspect of the panel mounting method is a panel mounting method for mounting multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... to a column-shaped base material 1 of a building. The first aspect of the panel mounting method includes first to third steps.

In the first step, of the multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ..., the lower panel Pn+1, which is supported from below by a panel support 7 connected to a hanging device 6, is moved from below the upper panel Pn to a connection position where the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 is inserted into the lower end of the upper panel Pn and connected.

In the second step, while the lower panel Pn+1 is supported by the panel support 7, the upper end of the lower panel Pn+1 in the connection position is fixed to the base material 1. In the third step, the panel support 7 is removed from the lower panel Pn+1.

The first aspect of the panel mounting method involves repeating the first, second, and third steps in this order to mount multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... on the base material 1.

By having the above-mentioned features, the first aspect of the panel mounting method allows multiple panels P1, P2, P3, ... to be mounted on the base material 1 in order from the top, and the ends of adjacent panels can be connected together.

In addition, in the first aspect of the panel mounting method, while the lower panel Pn+1 is supported from below by the panel support 7, it is possible to move the lower panel Pn+1 to a connection position where it is connected to the upper panel Pn, and to fix the lower panel Pn+1 in the connection position to the base material 1. Therefore, in the first aspect of the panel mounting method, when moving or fixing the lower panel Pn+1, the installer does not need to manually support the weight of the lower panel Pn+1, which reduces the burden on the installer.

As with the panel mounting method of the embodiment described above, the panel mounting method of the second aspect has the following features in addition to the features of the panel mounting method of the first aspect.
