Description
1)デジタル「コンピューター・トゥ・プレート」刷版用のマスクアブレーション、又は従来のアナログ刷版用のネガ作製であり得る、画像生成と、
2)光硬化性層内にフロア層を形成し、レリーフの深さを確立するための背面露光と、
3)マスクで覆われていない光硬化性層の部分を選択的に架橋及び硬化させ、それによってレリーフ像を作製する、マスク(又はネガ)を通した前面露光と、
4)溶媒(水を含む)又は熱現像により未露光フォトポリマーを除去する現像と、
5)必要に応じて、後露光及び/又は不粘着化と、を含む。

(4)後露光と、
(5)乾燥と、
(6)不粘着化と、を含む。
a)フォームの圧縮性による弛み、歪み、及び機械ゲージ変動を克服するために約0.5~5ミルの範囲のウェブ厚を有する幅広ウェブ(セロファン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル、ビニル及び紙のフィルム)上の印刷、
b)背景印刷において均一で一定の色調を有する安全紙(小切手、証券及び証券用紙)の印刷、及び
c)インク塗布の均一性が適切な発色に重要である多色印刷(4色印刷)。
a)液体光硬化性組成物をリザーバに提供することであって、光硬化性組成物は、
i)バインダ樹脂と、
ii)1種以上のモノマーと、
iii)光開始剤パッケージと、を含み、
リザーバは、透明な底部を含み、化学線源は、透明な底部を通って化学線を照射して液体光硬化性組成物を選択的に架橋及び硬化させるように位置決めされる、ことと、
b)基板を含むキャリア版を提供することであって、当該基板は、構造が形成される表面を提供し、リザーバは、キャリア版の下にある、ことと、
c)基板をリザーバ内の液体光硬化性組成物と接触させることと、
d)リザーバの透明な底部の下で、液体光硬化性組成物を化学線に選択的に露光させることであって、化学線が、リザーバ内の液体光硬化性組成物の選択された領域を架橋及び硬化する、ことと、
e)化学線が光硬化性組成物を連続的に架橋及び硬化させる間、リザーバからキャリア版を離して、キャリア版がリザーバから引き出されるのと同時に、キャリア版上に光硬化構造を形成することと、を含む。
a)光硬化性組成物の架橋及び硬化を実行するために使用される化学線源の種類及び/又は放射線の波長(複数可)、
b)化学線の放射照度(強度)、
c)化学線のエネルギー密度(線量)、
d)フラッド、移動床、又は移動ランプ源を含む露光の種類、
e)周囲ガス条件(すなわち、周囲空気中の酸素含有量)、
f)光硬化性組成物の温度、及び
g)光硬化性組成物の前硬化及び/又は後硬化。
a)液体光硬化性組成物をリザーバに提供することであって、光硬化性組成物は、

c)基板をリザーバ内の液体光硬化性組成物と接触させることと、
d)リザーバの透明な底部の下で、液体光硬化性組成物を化学線に選択的に露光させることであって、化学線が、リザーバ内の液体光硬化性組成物の選択された領域を架橋及び硬化する、ことと、
e)化学線が光硬化性組成物を連続的に架橋及び硬化させる間、リザーバからキャリア版を離して、キャリア版がリザーバから引き出されるのと同時に、キャリア版上に光硬化構造を形成することと、を含む。
a)液体光硬化性組成物を3次元プリンタのリザーバに提供することであって、液体光硬化性組成物は、
i)バインダ樹脂と、
ii)モノマーと、
iii)光開始剤と、を含む、ことと、
b)基板を含むキャリア版を提供することであって、基板は、光硬化構造が形成される表面を提供する、ことと、
c)3次元プリンタを使用して、印刷された光硬化性組成物を化学線に露光しながら光硬化性組成物を基板上に印刷して、印刷された光硬化性組成物を硬化させて、光硬化構造を形成することと、を含む。
Claims (28)
- 連続液体界面印刷によって光硬化構造を作製する方法であって、
a)液体の光硬化性組成物をリザーバに提供する工程であって、前記光硬化性組成物は、
i)1種以上のバインダ樹脂と、
ii)1種以上のモノマーと、
iii)光開始剤と、を含み、
前記光硬化性組成物を選択的に架橋及び硬化させるために化学線源が使用され、前記リザーバは、前記光硬化性組成物を硬化させるために使用される化学線の波長(複数可)に対して実質的に透明な底部を備え、前記化学線源(複数可)は、前記リザーバの前記透明な底部を通って化学線を照射するように位置決めされる、工程と、
b)基板を含むキャリア版を提供する工程であって、前記基板は、前記構造が形成される表面を提供し、前記リザーバは、前記キャリア版の下にある、工程と、
c)前記基板を前記リザーバ内の前記液体の光硬化性組成物と接触させる工程と、
d)前記リザーバの前記透明な底部の下で、前記液体の光硬化性組成物を化学線に選択的に露光させる工程であって、前記化学線が、前記リザーバ内の前記液体の光硬化性組成物の選択された領域を架橋及び硬化する、工程と、
e)前記化学線が前記光硬化性組成物を連続的に架橋及び硬化させる間、前記リザーバから前記キャリア版を離して、前記キャリア版が前記リザーバから引き出されるのと同時に、前記キャリア版上に前記光硬化構造を形成する工程と、を含み、
前記光硬化構造は、レリーフ像印刷版に結合するためのバッキング層を含み、
前記バッキング層は、圧縮性又は弾性バッキング層を提供するための格子又は一連の開口部を備え、前記格子は、圧縮性、弾性率、及び変位性の所望の特性を提供するように最適化される、方法。 - 前記基板は、前記光硬化構造が形成される前記基板の前記表面上にフォトポリマーの硬化層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記キャリア版は、架橋及び硬化された光硬化性組成物の層が連続的に形成されるにつれて、前記光硬化構造を前記リザーバから離れて移送する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程c)及びd)は、前記光硬化構造の形成が完了するまで繰り返される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記格子の開口部の形状及びサイズ、並びに前記開口部の配置及び密度が制御され、前記バッキング層は、中実領域と、その上に取り付け可能なレリーフ像印刷版の特徴を反映する高ラインスクリーン及び/又は格子開口部との両方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光硬化構造は、前記バッキング層上に形成されたレリーフ像印刷層を更に含み、前記工程c)及びd)が繰り返されて前記バッキング層及び前記レリーフ像印刷層の両方を形成し、前記バッキング層は、中実領域と、その上に形成された前記レリーフ像印刷層の特徴を反映する高ラインスクリーン及び/又は格子開口部との両方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光硬化性組成物は、前記バッキング層及び前記レリーフ像印刷層の両方を生成するように最適化される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記レリーフ像印刷層は、複数の印刷ドットを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記バッキング層の厚さは、約0.015~約0.125インチである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バッキング層及び前記レリーフ像印刷層の合計厚さは、約0.045~約0.250インチである、請求項6に記載の方法。

- 前記光硬化構造は、前記光硬化構造のX-Y平面内及び/又は前記光硬化構造のZ方向(厚さ)にわたる位置の関数として制御された化学的及び/又は物理的特性を含み、前記制御は、
h)前記光硬化性組成物の架橋及び硬化に影響を与えるために使用される化学線源の種類及び/又は前記線の波長(複数可)、
i)前記化学線の放射照度(強度)、
j)前記化学線のエネルギー密度(線量)、
k)フラッド、移動床、又は移動ランプ源を含む露光の種類、
l)前記光硬化性組成物の温度、及び
m)前記光硬化性組成物の前硬化及び/又は後硬化、からなる群から選択される1つ又は複数の硬化条件変数の変動によって確立される、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 異なる硬化フォトポリマー特性が、前記構造の前記層(複数可)の前記X-Y平面にわたって又は前記Z厚さにわたって不連続又は連続勾配で達成される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 異なる硬化フォトポリマー特性は、前記構造の前記層(複数可)のX-Y平面内又はZ厚さにわたってセグメント化又はブロックパターンで達成される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記バインダ樹脂が、ポリマー又はオリゴマー骨格に沿ってブロックで又はランダムに分布した重合性部分で官能化されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バインダ樹脂は、アクリレート、メタクリレート、スチレン、イソプレン、ブタジエン、酢酸ビニル、マレイン酸塩、フマル酸塩、マレイミド、ビニルエーテル、N-ビニルアミド、及びビニルエステルに部分的又は全体的に基づくコポリマーを含み、重合性二重結合がコポリマー鎖に懸垂している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 官能化バインダ樹脂は、前記光硬化性組成物中の反応性可塑剤、相溶化剤、及び/又は重合性マトリックス成分として使用される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化バインダ樹脂が、前記光硬化構造の1つ以上の層において使用され、前記1つ以上の層は、レリーフ印刷層、フロア層、及びバッキング層からなる群から選択される、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 3次元印刷によって光硬化構造を作製する方法であって、
a)液体の光硬化性組成物を3次元プリンタのリザーバに提供する工程であって、前記液体の光硬化性組成物は、
i)バインダ樹脂と、
ii)モノマーと、
iii)光開始剤と、を含む、工程と、
b)基板を含むキャリア版を提供する工程であって、前記基板は、前記光硬化構造が形成される表面を提供する、工程と、
c)前記3次元プリンタを使用して、印刷された光硬化性組成物を化学線に露光しながら前記液体の光硬化性組成物を前記基板上に印刷して、前記印刷された光硬化性組成物を硬化させて、前記光硬化構造を形成する工程と、を含み、
前記光硬化構造が、レリーフ像印刷版に結合するためのバッキング層を含み、
前記バッキング層は、圧縮性又は弾性バッキング層を提供する格子又は一連の開口部を備え、前記格子は、圧縮性、弾性率、及び変位性の所望の特性を提供するように最適化される、方法。 - 前記基板が、前記光硬化構造が形成される前記基板の表面上にフォトポリマーの硬化層を含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
