Description
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas cooling device that cools exhaust gas discharged from a reactor used to produce fullerene, a fullerene manufacturing device including the exhaust gas cooling device, and a fullerene manufacturing method.
As a method for efficiently producing fullerene in large quantities at low cost, a combustion method is known in which fullerene is produced by incomplete combustion of a carbon compound in a reactor (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The produced fullerene is mainly contained in soot-like substances. Sooty substances are discharged from the reactor together with the exhaust gas and are recovered by a fullerene recovery device.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Hereinafter, the form for implementing this invention is demonstrated with reference to drawings. In addition, in the drawings used in the following explanation, characteristic parts may be shown enlarged for convenience in order to make the characteristics easier to understand, and the dimensional ratio etc. of each component may not be the same. .
Figure 1 shows an example of a fullerene production apparatus using the combustion method according to this embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, the

By burning the fuel gas under oxygen-containing gas in the
Examples of the fuel gas include gaseous or gasified aromatic hydrocarbons having 6 to 15 carbon atoms such as toluene, benzene, xylene, naphthalene, methylnaphthalene, anthracene, and phenanthrene, creosote oil, carboxylic acid oil, etc. Examples include coal hydrocarbons, acetylenically unsaturated hydrocarbons, ethylene hydrocarbons, and aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons such as pentane and hexane, and two or more types may be used in combination. Among these, aromatic hydrocarbons are preferred. Note that the fuel gas may be diluted with an inert gas such as nitrogen gas or argon gas as necessary.
Examples of the oxygen-containing gas include oxygen gas and air. Note that the oxygen gas may be diluted with an inert gas such as nitrogen gas or argon gas.
2, the

The direction in which the inert gas flows in from the
Note that it is preferable that two or more
The inert gas inlet means includes an inert
Examples of methods for introducing the inert gas into the
The inert gas is not particularly limited as long as it does not react with the exhaust gas. Examples include nitrogen gas, argon gas, and carbon dioxide gas. The temperature of the inert gas is preferably 200°C or lower, and it is more preferable to use an inert gas at room temperature. The inert gas may be cooled to a temperature lower than room temperature. In this case, the cooling effect of the exhaust gas is further enhanced.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the downstream end of the
高温耐熱フィルター22に用いられる物質としては、PTFE(ポリテトラフロロエチレン)、アラミド繊維、PPS(ポリフェニレンスルフィド)等の樹脂があげられる。
The high-temperature heat-
In this embodiment, the exhaust gas discharged from the
In FIG. 1, a
The
