第1ラミネートフィルムと第2ラミネートフィルムは、金属シートの内側面を向かい合わせ、電極積層部を挟み、かつ、電極積層部の周囲において金属シートの内側面の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶着させた合わせ面を有している。第1ラミネートフィルムと第2ラミネートフィルムとの少なくとも一方は、合わせ面の一部または合わせ面よりも電極積層部を覆う部分の外側において、他方のラミネートフィルムから露出している。かかるラミネート型蓄電デバイスによれば、ラミネートフィルムの短絡検査が容易に行える。

- 電極体と、第1ラミネートフィルムと、第2ラミネートフィルムと
を備え、
前記電極体は、電極積層部と、正極集電タブと、負極集電タブとを有し、
前記第1ラミネートフィルムと前記第2ラミネートフィルムは、
金属シートと、
前記金属シートの外側面を覆う絶縁樹脂層と、
前記金属シートの内側面を覆う熱可塑性樹脂層と
を有しており、
前記第1ラミネートフィルムと前記第2ラミネートフィルムは、
前記金属シートの内側面を向かい合わせ、前記電極積層部を挟み、かつ、前記電極積層部の周囲において前記金属シートの内側面の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶着させた合わせ面を有し、
ここで、
前記電極積層部は、矩形であり、
前記正極集電タブは、前記電極積層部の一辺に設けられ、
前記負極集電タブは、前記正極集電タブが設けられた一辺とは反対側の一辺に設けられており、
前記正極集電タブと前記負極集電タブは、それぞれ前記合わせ面の一部において、前記第1ラミネートフィルムと前記第2ラミネートフィルムとの間から前記第1ラミネートフィルムと前記第2ラミネートフィルムとの外にはみ出ており、
前記電極積層部の周りの4辺のうち、前記正極集電タブが設けられた一辺と前記負極集電タブが設けられた一辺とは異なる辺において、前記合わせ面の一部または前記合わせ面よりも前記電極積層部を覆う部分の外側に、前記第1ラミネートフィルムの金属シートが露出した部位と、前記第2ラミネートフィルムの金属シートが露出した部位とを有している、
