Description
Claims (14)
- エネルギー供給源から組織の領域にエネルギーを印加するとともに真空源から吸引するように構成された医療装置であって、
作業端を有するカテーテルアセンブリと、
前記作業端に設けられ、上面および底面を有するフード部材であって、同フード部材の内部の凹部を露出させる開放面を前記底面に有し、前記開放面は、前記フード部材の長手方向軸線に沿って長手方向に延びる第1の縁および第2の縁を有する周囲を有し、前記開放面は、前記組織の前記領域上に配置されたときに前記周囲の少なくとも一部が前記組織の前記領域に接触する、フード部材と、
前記第1の縁および前記第2の縁に沿って対応して配置された第1の電極および第2の電極であって、前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極は、前記エネルギー供給源から前記組織の前記領域にエネルギーを供給するように構成されており、前記第1の電極は、当該第1の電極を通して延びる第1の電極ルーメンを有し、前記第2の電極は、当該第2の電極を通して延びる第2の電極ルーメンを有する、第1の電極および第2の電極と、
前記第1の電極ルーメンおよび前記第2の電極ルーメンを通して導入される冷却流体と、
前記フード部材の前記内部で長手方向に延びる複数の壁部であって、前記複数の壁部は、前記フード部材の前記内部に1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルおよび1つまたは複数の真空チャネルを形成する、複数の壁部と、
を備え、
前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルが、前記フード部材内に配置される灌流ルーメンと流体連通しており、
前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネルが、前記フード部材内に配置される真空ルーメンと流体連通しており、
前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルおよび前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネルは、前記複数の壁部によって分離されており、
前記医療装置は、前記開放面が前記組織の前記領域上に配置されたときに、前記真空源からの真空の適用により、前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネル内に真空が生成され、前記組織の前記領域の表面を前記開放面内および前記複数の壁部に対する前記凹部内に引き込むように構成されている、医療装置。 - 灌流流体は、前記組織の前記領域の前記表面が前記凹部内にあるときに、前記真空の適用を継続することで、前記灌流流体を前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネル内で流動させ、これにより前記灌流流体が前記組織の前記領域の前記表面を冷却するように、少なくとも1つまたは複数の真空チャネルと流体的に結合される、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記第1の電極ルーメンおよび前記第2の電極ルーメンは、前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルから流体的に隔離されている、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記カテーテルアセンブリに流体的に結合されるポンプをさらに備え、前記ポンプの駆動により、前記第1の電極ルーメンおよび前記第2の電極ルーメンのうちの少なくともいずれか一方を介して前記冷却流体が駆動される、請求項3に記載に医療装置。
- 前記第1の電極ルーメンおよび前記第2の電極ルーメンは、前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネルに流体的に結合され、これにより、前記真空を適用すると、前記灌流流体が前記第1の電極ルーメンおよび前記第2の電極ルーメンを通って前記灌流ルーメンに流れる、請求項2に記載の医療装置。
- 少なくとも1つの流体的に隔離された真空チャネルをさらに備え、前記真空を適用すると、前記組織が前記少なくとも1つの流体的に隔離された真空チャネルに引き寄せられ、そこから灌流流体が引き出されないようになっている、請求項4に記載の医療装置。
- 前記複数の壁部は、前記フード部材の前記内部に凹部を形成するように、前記フード部材の内部に凹んでいる、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記第1の縁および前記第2の縁に隣接して配置された前記複数の壁部の高さが、前記長手方向軸線に隣接して配置された前記複数の壁部の高さよりも大きく、これにより、前記複数の壁部の端部が角度をなすプロファイルを形成している、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記組織の前記領域が前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネルのうちの少なくとも1つに対してシールを形成しているときに、前記1つまたは複数の真空チャネルのうちの少なくとも1つが前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルから流体的に隔離される、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルのうちの少なくとも1つは、前記フード部材の前記内部に開放面を有している、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数の灌流チャネルのうちの少なくとも1つは、前記フード部材の前記内部に封入されている、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記フード部材の遠位端に設けられた透明カバー内に配置された可視化要素および照明要素をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記フード部材に結合されたナビゲーション要素をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極は、一連のセグメント化された電極で構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
