Description
へ示す。AMF (215) は、UE (214) がNASを介したSMSをサポートしていると判断 (考慮)し、このcapabilityをAMF (215) に格納するとともに、UE (214) がNASを介したSMSサービスを要求したという情報を格納する。AMF (215) はさらに、UE (214) がNASを介したSMSサービスを許可されているかどうかを、UE (214) subscriptionをチェックする。AMF (215) は、UEに対してUE SMS over NAS deliveryが許可されていないと判定した後、Registration Requestメッセージに応答してRegistration Acceptメッセージを送信する。「SMS allowed」Information Element(IE)は、3GPP標準で規定されている。したがって、Registration Acceptメッセージは、例えば、「SMS over NAS is not allowed」が設定された「SMS Allowed」IEを含むことによって、NASを介したSMSが許可されていないことを示す「SMS Allowed」IEを含むかもしくは含まないかによって、NASを介したSMSが許可されたことを示すものではない。UE (214) は、「SMS allowed」IEを含まないRegistration Acceptメッセージを受信した場合、または 「SMS allowed」IEを含むRegistration Acceptメッセージを受信した場合、UEは、NASを介したSMSはUEに許可されていないと判断(考慮)する。UE (214) は、 「SMS Requested」に加えて、またはその代わりに、「SMS Supported」を示してもよい。「SMS Requested」 または 「SMS Supported」の表示(indication)は、NASメッセージを使用してAMF (215) に送信されてもよい。NASメッセージに加えて、またはNASメッセージの代わりに、「SMS Requested」もしくは「SMS Supported」のindicationは、RANノード (例:NG RAN、gNB) で転送することにより、ASメッセージおよびNGAPメッセージを使用してAMFに送信されてもよい。

Claims (4)
- Access and mobility Management Function(AMF)からConfiguration Update Commandメッセージを受信することと、
前記Configuration Update CommandメッセージからShort Message Service(SMS)の許可に関する情報を取得することと、
前記SMSの許可に関する情報が、User Equipment(UE)がNASを介したSMSを利用可能であることを示す場合、前記NASを介したSMSを利用可能にするためにRegistration procedureを実行することと、
を含む、UEによって実行される方法。 - 前記Configuration Update Commandメッセージが、前記Configuration Update Commandメッセージについて応答することをUEに要求する指示を含む場合、前記Registration procedureを実行する前に、前記AMFへConfiguration Update Completeメッセージを送信することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- User Equipment(UE)へShort Message Service(SMS)の許可に関する情報を含むConfiguration Update Commandメッセージを送信することと、
前記SMS の許可に関する情報が、前記UEがNASを介したSMSを利用可能であることを示す場合、前記UEが前記NASを介したSMSを利用可能にするために実行されるRegistration procedureにおいて、前記UEから、Registration Requestメッセージを受信することと、
を含む、Access and mobility Management Function(AMF)によって実行される方法。 - 前記Configuration Update Commandメッセージが、前記Configuration Update Commandメッセージについて応答することをUEに要求する指示を含む場合、前記UEが前記Registration procedureを実行する前に、前記UEからConfiguration Update Completeメッセージを受信することを更に含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
