Claims (11)
- パネルに取り付けるための二つの部品で構成するファスナーにおいて、
パネル内の穴に受け取られてこのパネルの穴の壁に係合する周辺把持手段を備えるシャンク、中心の通し孔及び大径の保持部ヘッドを有する保持部品、および、
直径が順次に漸増する複数のセルフクリンチ部を有し、前記保持部品に取り付ける挿入部品であって、前記パネルの他方の面に接するフランジを一端部に取り付けた前記挿入部品があり、
前記保持部品の前記通し孔に前記挿入部品を締め付け状態で挿入するために、前記保持部品の材料が前記セルフクリンチ部の一つかそれ以上に流れ込み、そして、前記通し孔の壁が変形することで、前記保持部ヘッドと前記パネル間が締め付けられることを特徴とするファスナー。
- 前記挿入部品が、最大径のセルフクリンチ部に直接隣接する一端部にフランジを有し、このフランジが前記パネルに設けた前記穴の径よりも大きい請求項1に記載のファスナー。
- 前記挿入部品がネジ付き通し孔を有する請求項2に記載のファスナー。
- 前記保持部品の把持手段が長手方向刻みである請求項1に記載のファスナー。
- 前記挿入部品が細長いスタッドを有し、このスタッドが前記フランジと対向する前記挿入部品から上向きに延在する請求項2に記載のファスナー。
- 前記パネルの両側に直接接触することによって前記保持部品のヘッドと前記挿入部品のフランジとの間に固く締め付けられるパネルに組み付けられアセンブリを構成する請求項2に記載のファスナー。
- 前記保持部品および前記挿入部品が金属製である請求項1に記載のファスナー。
- 前記パネルが非金属製である請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 各セルフクリンチ部がランドおよびアンダーカットを有する請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記保持部品の中心の前記通し孔の壁が円筒形を構成する請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
- 少なくとも一つのランドによって前記保持部品の素材を少なくとも一つのアンダーカット内に変位させることによって前記挿入部品が前記保持部品に取り付けられる請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
