Description
他方では、排出物内に様々な導電性液体又は固体が含まれるため、バス部材12及びリリーフ機構213を同じ側に配置すると、排出物が高圧の正極及び負極を直接に導通して短絡させるという大きなリスクが存在する。短絡による一連の連動反応は電池10の全ての電池セル20の熱暴走又は爆発を発生させる可能性がある。バス部材12及びリリーフ機構213を異なる側に設置して排出物をバス部材12から離れる方向に向かって排出させることにより、上記問題の発生を回避し、それにより電池10の安全性能をさらに向上させることができる。

Claims (13)
- 電池であって、
複数の電池セルであって、前記複数の電池セルのうちの少なくとも1つの電池セルは、前記少なくとも1つの電池セルの内部圧力又は温度が閾値になった時に作動して前記内部圧力を放出するためのリリーフ機構を備える複数の電池セルと、
前記複数の電池セルを電気的に接続するためのバス部材と、
を備え、
前記リリーフ機構及び前記バス部材はそれぞれ前記少なくとも1つの電池セルの異なる側に配置され、前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に前記少なくとも1つの電池セルからの排出物を前記バス部材から離れる方向に沿って排出させ、
前記電池は熱管理部材と、収集キャビティと、をさらに備え、
前記熱管理部材は流体を収容して前記複数の電池セルの温度を調整することに用いられ、前記熱管理部材は前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に破壊されて、前記電池セルからの排出物を前記熱管理部材に通過させるように構成され、
前記収集キャビティは前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に前記電池セルからの排出物を収集することに用いられる電池。 - 前記熱管理部材は前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に破壊されて、前記流体を流出させるように構成される請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記熱管理部材は、
前記複数の電池セルに取り付けられる第1熱伝導板と、
前記第1熱伝導板の前記電池セルから離れる側に配置される第2熱伝導板と、
前記第1熱伝導板と前記第2熱伝導板との間に前記流体が流れるために形成される流路と、を備える請求項1又は2に記載の電池。 - 前記熱管理部材は、
前記リリーフ機構の作動を可能にする空間を提供するように構成される逃げ構造をさらに備え、
前記熱管理部材は前記複数の電池セルに取り付けられて前記逃げ構造と前記リリーフ機構との間に逃げキャビティを形成し、又は、前記逃げ構造は前記熱管理部材を貫通する貫通孔であり、前記逃げ構造の逃げ側壁は前記貫通孔の孔壁である請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電池。 - 前記逃げ構造は逃げ底壁及び前記逃げキャビティを取り囲む逃げ側壁を備え、且つ前記逃げ底壁は、前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に破壊されて、前記電池セルからの排出物を前記熱管理部材に通過させるように構成される請求項4に記載の電池。
- 前記逃げ側壁は前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に破壊されて、前記流体を流出させるように構成される請求項4又は5に記載の電池。
- 前記逃げ側壁は前記リリーフ機構の前記熱管理部材に向かう方向に対して所定の夾角をなし、且つ前記所定の夾角は15°以上85°以下である請求項5又は6に記載の電池。
- 前記収集キャビティは前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に前記熱管理部材からの排出物を収集することに用いられ、
前記逃げキャビティ及び前記収集キャビティは前記熱管理部材によって分離され、又は、前記逃げ構造及び前記収集キャビティは連通する請求項4又は5に記載の電池。 - 保護部材をさらに備え、前記保護部材は前記熱管理部材の前記電池セルから離れる側に配置され、且つ前記収集キャビティは前記熱管理部材と前記保護部材との間に配置される請求項8に記載の電池。
- 前記電池セルは、複数の壁で囲んで形成された、開口部を有するハウジング及び前記開口部を密閉するカバー板をさらに備え、
前記リリーフ機構は前記複数の壁のうちの少なくとも1つの壁に配置される請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の電池。 - 前記リリーフ機構の外面は前記少なくとも1つの壁の外面と同一平面上にある又は前記少なくとも1つの壁の外面に凹んでおり、又は、
前記リリーフ機構は前記複数の壁のうち隣接する2つの壁の間のコーナー部に配置され、又は、
前記リリーフ機構は複数設置され、複数の前記リリーフ機構は前記複数の壁のうちの1つの壁に配置され、又は、
複数の前記リリーフ機構は前記複数の壁のうちの少なくとも2つの壁に配置される請求項10に記載の電池。 - 電気エネルギーを供給するための請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の電池を備える装置。
- 電池製造方法であって、
複数の電池セルを提供するステップであって、前記複数の電池セルのうちの少なくとも1つの電池セルは、前記少なくとも1つの電池セルの内部圧力又は温度が閾値になった時に作動して前記内部圧力を放出するためのリリーフ機構を備えるステップと、
バス部材を提供して、前記バス部材を前記複数の電池セルに電気的に接続するステップと、
前記リリーフ機構及び前記バス部材をそれぞれ前記少なくとも1つの電池セルの異なる側に配置して、前記リリーフ機構が作動時に前記少なくとも1つの電池セルからの排出物を前記バス部材から離れる方向に沿って排出させるステップと、
熱管理部材を提供するステップであって、前記熱管理部材は流体を収容して前記複数の電池セルの温度を調整することに用いられ、前記熱管理部材は前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に破壊されて、前記電池セルからの排出物を前記熱管理部材に通過させるように構成されるステップと、
前記リリーフ機構が作動する時に前記電池セルからの排出物を収集するための収集キャビティを提供するステップと、を含む電池製造方法。
