In the embodiment described above, an example is shown in which the support part is a protrusion that protrudes below the bottom part 4 on the front side of the bottom part 4. The support portion is not limited to this, and may have any structure as long as it supports the hand wash basin such that the upper rear end is located further back than the lower part of the wash basin. For example, the front end of the bottom may be lower than the rear end. In addition to the structure in which the support part is formed integrally with the handwash basin, a structure in which the support part that is separate from the handwash basin is attached to the lower part of the bottom of the handwash basin may be used.

In the embodiment described above, an example is shown in which the auxiliary support section 7 is provided. The auxiliary support portion 7 is not an essential component. The support part 6 and the bottom part 4 behind the support part 6 may be in contact with the upper surface 103 of the cabinet 102, so that the handwash 1 is supported in a self-supporting manner.

In the embodiment described above, an example in which the exterior body 3 is provided in the hand wash basin 1 is shown. The exterior body 3 is not an essential structure, and may include a bottom portion 4 that supports the bowl portion 2 from below, and a rear end upper portion 5 that is fixed to the wall 301. For example, in the hand wash basins 1, 1A, 1B, and 1C of the embodiments and modifications described above, gaps are formed between the bowl portion 2 and the bottom portion 4, and between the bowl portion 2 and the rear wall 38, respectively. A structure may be adopted in which such a gap is not formed and flat parts are formed at the lower part and the rear end of the bowl part, respectively. In this case, the lower flat part of the bowl portion corresponds to the bottom part, and the flat part at the rear end corresponds to the upper rear end.

In the embodiment described above, an example was shown in which the handwash basin 1, which is larger in the width direction W than the depth direction D, is attached to the wall 301 of the building. The installation location of the handwash unit is not limited to the wall of the building. For example, a support wall may be provided at the rear of the cabinet 102 that extends above the upper surface 103 along the vertical direction H, and the rear end upper portion 5 may be in contact with the support wall of the cabinet.

The bowl part 2 is not limited to a size for hand washing, but may be a face washing bowl part larger than a hand washing machine.
