Description
本出願は2020年3月3日付韓国特許出願第10-2020-0026670号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
Aは隣り合う2個の五員環と融合したベンゼン環であり、
L1~L3はそれぞれ独立して、単結合;置換または非置換のC6-60アリーレン;または置換または非置換の、N、OおよびSのうち1個以上のヘテロ原子を含むC2-60ヘテロアリーレンであり、
Ar1~Ar3はそれぞれ独立して、置換または非置換のC6-60アリール;または置換または非置換の、N、OおよびSのうち1個以上のヘテロ原子を含むC2-60ヘテロアリールであり、
R1~R3はそれぞれ独立して、水素;重水素;ハロゲン;シアノ;置換または非置換のC1-60アルキル;置換または非置換のC6-60アリール;または置換または非置換の、N、OおよびSのうち1個以上のヘテロ原子を含むC2-60ヘテロアリールであり、
aおよびbはそれぞれ独立して、0~5の整数であり、
cは0~2の整数であり、
a、bおよびcが2以上である場合、括弧内の置換基は互いに同一または相異なり、
化合物内の同一名称の置換基は互いに同一または相異なる。
本明細書で、
本発明は前記化学式1で表される化合物を提供する。
前記化学式1で表される化合物は、2個のベンゾ[g]インドール構造がベンゼン環によって融合したコア両側にアミノ基が置換されたジアミン化合物構造を有する。特に、前記化学式1で表される化合物は、下記化学式X1で表される化合物と同じカルバゾロ[4,3-c]カルバゾールコアを有するジアミン化合物と比較して合成が容易なだけでなく溶液工程に使用される有機溶媒に対して高い溶解度を示すことができ、さらに、前記化学式1で表される化合物を発光層のドーパントとして採用した有機発光素子は下記化学式X1で表される化合物をドーパントとして採用した有機発光素子に比べて、発光効率および寿命特性が同時に向上することができる。
各置換基に係る説明は前記化学式1で定義したとおりである。

L1~L3、Ar1~Ar3、R1~R3、a、bおよびcは前記化学式1で定義したとおりである。
L2およびL3はそれぞれ独立して、単結合、フェニレン、ナフチレン、または9,9-ジメチルフルオレニレン、または9,9-ジヘキシルフルオレニレンであり得る。
ここで、Ar1~Ar3は非置換であるか、または重水素、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、n-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、フェニル、またはSi(フェニル)3で構成される群より選ばれる1個~5個の置換基で置換され得る。
Z1およびZ2はそれぞれ独立して、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、n-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、またはフェニルである。
Z3およびZ4はそれぞれ独立して、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、n-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、またはフェニルである。
L1は互いに同一であり得、L2は互いに同一であり得、L3は互いに同一であり得、Ar1は互いに同一であり得、Ar2は互いに同一であり得、Ar3は互いに同一であり得、R1は互いに同一であり得、R2は互いに同一であり得、R3は互いに同一であり得、aは互いに同一であり得、bは互いに同一であり得、cは互いに同一であり得る。
L1はそれぞれ独立して、単結合、または下記で構成される群より選ばれるいずれか一つであり、
一方、本発明による化合物は溶液工程で有機発光素子の有機物層、特に発光層を形成することができる。具体的には、前記化合物は発光層のドーパント材料として使用できる。このために、本発明は上述した本発明による化合物および溶媒を含むコーティング組成物を提供する。
また、本発明は前記化学式1で表される化合物を含む有機発光素子を提供する。一例として、本発明は第1電極;前記第1電極と対向して備えられた第2電極;および前記第1電極と前記第2電極の間に備えられた発光層を含む有機発光素子であって、前記発光層は前記化学式1で表される化合物を含む有機発光素子を提供する。

Bath温度を110℃に上げた後、Pd((t-Bu)3P)2(3mol%)を滴加して4時間の間攪拌した。反応後、ジクロロメタンと水で水洗して有機層を分離して、MgSO4で水を除去してCelite-Silica padに通過させた。通過した溶液を減圧下に濃縮させた後、カラムクロマトグラフィーにより精製して中間体化合物1-l(収率81%)を得た。

前記製造例で製造した化合物および比較化合物の溶液工程に用いられる溶媒に対する溶解度を確認するために、これらをそれぞれ溶媒シクロヘキサノン(CHON)に常温/常圧条件で溶解させた後、0.1wt%以上溶解するのかどうかを確認し、その結果を表1に示した。
実施例1
ITO(indium tin oxide)が500Åの厚さで薄膜コートされたガラス基板を、洗剤を溶かした蒸留水に入れて超音波で洗浄した。この際、洗剤としてはフィッシャー社(Fischer Co.)製品を使用し、蒸留水としてはミリポア社(Millipore Co.)製品のフィルター(Filter)で2次濾過された蒸留水を使用した。ITOを30分間洗浄した後、蒸留水で2回繰り返して超音波洗浄を10分間行った。蒸留水洗浄が終わった後、イソプロピル、アセトンの溶剤で超音波洗浄を行い、乾燥させた後、前記基板を5分間洗浄した後、グローブボックスに基板を輸送させた。
発光層のドーパントとして化合物1の代わりに表2に記載された化合物を使用することを除いては、前記実施例1と同様の方法で有機発光素子を製造した。

前記実施例および比較例で製造した有機発光素子に電流を印加した時、10mA/cm2の電流密度での駆動電圧、外部量子効率(external quantum efficiency,EQE)および寿命を測定した結果を下記表2に示した。この際、外部量子効率(EQE)は「(放出された光子数)/(注入された電電荷キャリア数)*100」で求め、T90は輝度が初期輝度(500nit)から90%に減少するのに所要する時間を意味する。

- 下記化学式1で表される化合物:
Aは隣り合う2個の五員環と融合したベンゼン環であり、
L1~L3はそれぞれ独立して、単結合、あるいは、置換または非置換のC6-60アリーレンであり、
Ar1~Ar3はそれぞれ独立して、非置換であるか、または重水素、C 1-10 アルキル、C 6-20 アリール、Si(C 1-10 アルキル) 3 およびSi(C 6-20 アリール) 3 で構成される群より選ばれる1個以上の置換基で置換されたC 6-20 アリール;または非置換であるか、または重水素、C 1-10 アルキル、C 6-20 アリール、Si(C 1-10 アルキル) 3 およびSi(C 6-20 アリール) 3 で構成される群より選ばれる1個以上の置換基で置換された、N、OおよびSのうち1個または2個のヘテロ原子を含むC 2-20 ヘテロアリールであり、
R1~R3はそれぞれ独立して、水素;重水素;ハロゲン;シアノ;置換または非置換のC1-10 アルキル;または、置換または非置換のC6-20 アリールであり、
aおよびbはそれぞれ独立して、0~5の整数であり、
cは0~2の整数である。 - 前記化合物は下記化学式1-1~1-5のいずれか一つで表される、請求項1に記載の化合物:
L1~L3、Ar1~Ar3、R1~R3、a、bおよびcは請求項1で定義したとおりである。 - L1~L3はそれぞれ独立して、単結合、フェニレン、ビフェニルジイル、ナフチレン、または9,9-ジ(C1-10アルキル)フルオレニレンである、請求項1に記載の化合物。
- Ar1はそれぞれ独立して、下記で構成される群より選ばれるいずれか一つである、請求項1に記載の化合物:
Z1およびZ2はそれぞれ独立して、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、n-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、またはフェニルである。 - Ar2およびAr3はそれぞれ独立して、下記で構成される群より選ばれるいずれか一つである、請求項1に記載の化合物:
