Description

The present invention relates to a plastic bottle including a mouth, a shoulder whose diameter gradually increases from the mouth toward the bottom, and a body continuous with the shoulder.

In recent years, as plastic bottles for filling beverages, not only plastic bottles that are displayed in a cooled state or at room temperature, but also heated plastic bottles that are displayed in a heated state have been used. Plastic heating bottles are sometimes filled with room-temperature beverages and then heated during display. In this case, the internal pressure of the bottle decreases due to temperature changes caused by heating during display. It will rise above the time.

On the other hand, JP 2016-132500A (Patent Document 1) discloses a bottle in which pressure absorption panels are provided on the shoulder and the body. The body panel is designed to absorb the increase in internal pressure caused by heating after filling.

Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2016-132500

However, in the bottle of Patent Document 1, a panel must be provided over the entire body, which is a problem when attempting to change the design of the body, such as by adding decorations to the body. Therefore, if the design of the body is changed, it is necessary to absorb the increased pressure inside the bottle at a location other than the body.

Therefore, it is desired to realize a plastic bottle that enhances the effect of absorbing increased pressure in the shoulder portion.

A plastic bottle comprising a mouth, a shoulder whose diameter gradually increases from the mouth toward the bottom, and a body continuous with the shoulder,
at least one inwardly recessed panel is provided on the shoulder;
The panel is formed in a triangular or trapezoidal shape that widens toward the body,
The bottom surface of the panel is formed into a curved surface that is convex inward,
The depth from a plane passing through both upper and lower ends of the panel to the deepest part of the bottom surface of the panel is 1 mm to 7 mm,
A pillar portion is provided between the sides of the adjacent panels,
The boundary between the pillar portion and the panel does not have an outwardly protruding portion,
The circumferential surface of the body portion is formed as a smooth surface without unevenness ,
The panel is connected to the body, and the boundary between the body and the panel is connected in an arc shape .

According to this configuration, since the panel is triangular or trapezoidal, the panel can be provided widely over the shoulder. Furthermore, compared to a rectangular panel, the panel can move more easily and the panel area can be wider. In addition, according to this configuration, by arranging the panel having a curved surface that is convex inward, the panel can move greatly outward when the pressure inside the bottle is increased, and the shoulder The pressure increase absorption effect can be effectively enhanced. Furthermore, by having a depth of 1 mm to 7 mm, the effect of absorbing increased pressure in the shoulder region can be effectively enhanced. That is, if the depth is less than 1 mm, the amount of pressure increase absorption will be insufficient, and if the depth exceeds 7 mm, the panel will be difficult to move and absorption of pressure increase will be difficult. Further, according to this configuration, by providing the pillar portion, it is possible to prevent the movement of adjacent panels from affecting each other. Further , according to this configuration, since the increased pressure can be absorbed more effectively by the shoulder portion, the body portion can be formed into a smooth surface without a panel, and the design effect can be enhanced. Further, according to this configuration, since the boundary between the body and the panel is arcuate, the panel can move outward more easily when the pressure is increased, compared to a case where the boundary is angular.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the plastic bottle according to the present invention will be described. However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the preferred embodiments described below.

In one aspect, it is preferable that the shoulder portion is provided with three or more of the panels.

According to this configuration, since there are three or more panels, the panel does not become too large, and the panel can be easily moved during pressure increase.

As one aspect, it is preferable that the boundary between the pillar portion and the panel be formed in an arc shape .

According to this configuration, since the boundary between the pillar portion and the panel is arcuate , the panel can move outward more easily during pressure increase than when the boundary is angular.

In one embodiment, the plastic bottle is preferably a heating plastic bottle.

According to the plastic bottle according to the present invention, increased pressure can be effectively absorbed by the shoulder portion, so that even when used as a plastic bottle for heating with this configuration, the adverse effects of increased pressure inside the bottle can be effectively avoided.

プラスチックボトルの正面図front view of plastic bottle プラスチックボトルの平面図Top view of plastic bottle 図1のIII-III断面図III-III sectional view in Figure 1 図2のIV-IV断面図IV-IV sectional view in Figure 2

Embodiments of the plastic bottle according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the plastic bottle 1 according to the present embodiment includes a spout 2 as a liquid spout, a shoulder 3 that is continuous with the spout 2, and whose diameter gradually increases toward the bottom. It is composed of a cylindrical body part 4 that is continuous with the shoulder part 3, and a bottom part 5 that becomes the bottom of the plastic bottle 1. The plastic bottle 1 according to this embodiment is for heating, and is characterized by a panel 31 provided on the shoulder portion 3. The configuration of the shoulder portion 3 will be described in detail below.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, four panels 31 that are recessed inwardly are provided on the shoulder portion 3 at equal intervals and in the same shape. As shown in FIG. 3, the bottom surface 31a of each panel 31 is formed into a curved surface that is convex toward the inside of the bottle. As described above, the curved surface that is convex toward the inside of the bottle allows the panel 31 to move significantly outward when the pressure inside the bottle is increased. Furthermore, the panel 31 extends perpendicularly to the circumferential direction.

The depth D (see FIG. 4) from the plane P passing through the upper and lower ends 31c, 31c of the panel to the deepest part of the bottom surface 31a of the panel 31 is 1 mm to 7 mm. This is because if the depth D is less than 1 mm, the amount of pressure increase absorption will be insufficient, and if the depth D exceeds 7 mm, the panel will be difficult to move and the pressure increase absorption will be difficult. Note that the depth D is more preferably 2 mm to 6 mm, and even more preferably 3 mm to 5 mm.

In this embodiment, a column portion 32 is provided between the side edges 31b of adjacent panels 31. By providing the panel 31, it is possible to prevent the movement of adjacent panels from affecting each other. Furthermore, the boundary between the column 32 and the panel 31 is formed in an arc shape, making it easier for the panel 31 to move outward during pressure increase compared to a case where the boundary between the column 32 and the panel 31 is square. There is. Further, the panel 31 is connected to the body 4, and the boundary between the body 4 and the panel 31 is formed in an arc shape. This makes it easier for the panel 31 to move outward during pressure increase, compared to a case where the boundary between the body 4 and the panel 31 is angular.

In this embodiment, the panel 31 is formed into a trapezoidal shape. This allows the panel 31 to be provided widely over the shoulder 3, thereby increasing the pressure increase absorption effect in the shoulder 3. Additionally, compared to a rectangular panel, the panel moves outward more easily when pressure increases, allowing for a larger panel area.

With the shoulder part 3 having the above-described structure, the pressure increase absorption effect in the shoulder part 3 is enhanced, and the pressure increase inside the bottle during heating is improved without providing a structure having a pressure increase absorption function in the body part 4. can be absorbed. Therefore, in this embodiment, since the shoulder portion 3 absorbs the increased pressure, the trunk portion 4 can adopt a characteristic configuration in which the circumferential surface is made of a smooth surface without unevenness, which enhances the design effect. is now possible.

Next, an example of the pressure increase absorption effect in the shoulder portion 3 will be explained. For a 500 ml bottle having the same shape as the plastic bottle 1 according to the present embodiment, changes in the bottle shape after being filled with a beverage and boiling in hot water at 75° C. for a predetermined time were compared. Specifically, (1) a bottle with no panels on the shoulder, (2) a bottle with four panels on the shoulder but with the bottom of the panel flat, and (3) a bottle with the bottom facing inside the bottle. A bottle with four panels on the shoulder that are formed into curved surfaces that convex toward each other, and the depth of the deepest part of the panel is 3 mm, (4) In the bottle of (3), the depth of the deepest part of the panel is 3 mm. 4mm bottles, bottles (5) and (3), the depth of the deepest part of the panel is 5mm, and when comparing the bottles (1) to (5), which differ only in the structure of the shoulder part, (1) ) and (2), the bottom of the bottle deformed as a result of continued boiling in hot water, making it impossible to stand up on its own, or even leaning on its own, but for bottles (3) to (5), ), the bottle does not reach the state of (2) and maintains a state where it can stand on its own normally. Thus, it can be seen that by providing the shoulder with a panel whose bottom surface is a curved surface that is convex toward the inside of the bottle, the pressure increase absorption effect in the shoulder is enhanced.

The plastic bottle 1 according to the present embodiment can be integrally molded using a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyethylene terephthalate as a main material by a stretch molding method such as biaxial stretch blow molding. The capacity of the plastic bottle 1 is not particularly limited, and can be approximately 200 ml to 2 liters, such as commonly available 280 ml, 350 ml, and 500 ml. The liquid to be filled into the bottle 1 is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include beverages such as drinking water, tea, fruit juice, coffee, cocoa, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, milk drinks, and soups, and liquid seasonings such as sauce and soy sauce. Examples include fees.
