Description
図1は、実施形態に係る放射線治療装置の全体構成を示す図である。
治療前に患者についての3次元CT画像、すなわち時間経過に従った複数の3次元CT画像を取得する。例えば、肺などの呼吸によって変化する部位については、呼吸の1周期について、時間経過に従った各位相の3次元CT画像を得る。本実施形態では、呼吸1周期を10分割した10セットの3次元CT画像を得る。なお、CT画像の取得については、通常のCTスキャン装置によって行うことができる。
まず、10セットのCT画像の中の1つを基準画像として、他の9つのCT画像の差分を評価する。例えば、呼気相のCT画像を基準ボリュームデータV0とし、それ以外の各呼吸位相CT画像との変形レジストレーションにより、9つの3次元変形フィールドD(x,y,z)pを算出する。ここで、p=0が呼気相、p=2~9が他の位相である。なお、x方向の変形をDx(x,y,z)、y方向の変形をDy(x,y,z)、z方向の変形をDz(x,y,z)のように表す。

図2~図4には、3方向のCT画像について、ランドマーク(この例ではマーカ)変位と、各ボクセル移動量(頭足(SI)方向)の相関について示してある。図2は体の上下方向(アキシャル)の画像、図3は体の頭足方向(コロナル)の画像、図4は体の左右方向(サジタル)の画像であり、画像中における島状の部分において相関の高い部分が明るく表してある。図中丸印がマーカ位置であり、マーカ周辺において相関が高いことがわかる。
上述の例では、体内マーカの位置に基づいて、CT画像を再生したが、これに体表の位置など他のデータを関連付けることで、再生するCT画像の精度を向上することができる。例えば、マーカ周辺の体表位置の変化と各部のボクセルの変化との関係(例えば線形の相関関係)を求めておく。そして、治療時において、マーカ位置だけでなく、体表位置を検出し、マーカ変位に基づいて得られた各ボクセル位置を、体表位置(統計量でもよい)に基づいて計算した各ボクセルに位置により修正することができる。例えば、両者の重み付け平均によって位置を算出することができる。
Claims (4)
- 照射対象に存在するランドマークを検出する検出手段と、
治療計画時において予め取得した、前記ランドマークを含む前記照射対象についての時間経過に従った複数の3次元CT画像の中における1つを基準画像として、前記基準画像におけるランドマーク位置から前記複数の3次元CT画像の中における前記基準画像以外の画像である他の3次元CT画像におけるランドマーク位置の変位と、前記他の3次元CT画像における各部位の変形との関係を記憶する記憶手段と、
前記照射対象に対し治療放射線を照射する治療時において、前記検出手段により検出した前記ランドマークの位置に応じ、前記関係を参照して、各部位の変形を推定し、推定された3次元CT画像を再生する3次元CT画像再生手段と、
を有する放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1に記載の放射線治療装置であって、

前記3次元CT画像再生手段により再生された3次元CT画像に基づいて、前記治療放射線の照射を制御する制御手段有する放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の放射線治療装置であって、
前記ランドマークは金属マーカを含み、
前記検出手段は、前記金属マーカを検出するX線カメラを含む、
放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の放射線治療装置であって、
前記ランドマークは、照射対象の表面位置を含み、
前記検出手段は前記表面位置を検出する表面位置検出手段を含む、
放射線治療装置。
