Description
Claims (25)
- ユーザによって着用されたときにパルス通過時間を測定するよう構成されたウェアラブル監視装置であって、前記監視装置は、
前記監視装置をユーザの体肢に固定するよう構成され、第1のバンド、および前記ユーザの体肢によって規定される長手方向に沿って前記第1のバンドから一定の距離離れて配置された第2のバンドを備えたウェアラブル取付け具を有し、
前記ウェアラブル取付け具の前記第1のバンドに取り付けられた第1の変換器アレイを有し、前記第1の変換器アレイは、超音波エネルギーを送ったり受け取ったりするための複数の独立変換器素子を含み、
前記ウェアラブル取付け具の前記第2のバンドに取り付けられた第2の変換器アレイを有し、前記第2の変換器アレイは、超音波エネルギーを送ったり受け取ったりするための複数の独立変換器素子を含み、
前記第1のバンド及び前記第2のバンドは、摺動可能な連結部を介して連結され、且つ、前記摺動可能な連結部に沿って前記長手方向の周りに互いに対して回転するように構成され、
前記第1および前記第2の変換器アレイに作動的に結合されたエレクトロニクス組立体を有し、前記エレクトロニクス組立体は、前記第1の変換器アレイと前記第2の変換器アレイとの間のパルス通過時間を算定するよう構成されている、監視装置。 - 前記ウェアラブル取付け具は、前記第1の変換器アレイに結合された前記第1のバンドおよび前記第2の変換器アレイに結合された前記第2のバンドを有する、請求項1記載の監視装置。
- 前記ウェアラブル取付け具は、前記第1の変換器アレイと前記第2の変換器アレイを構造的に離隔する長手方向区分を有する、請求項1または2記載の監視装置。
- 前記ウェアラブル取付け具は、第1の変換器アレイを収納した第1のハウジングおよび前記第2の変換器アレイを収納した別個の第2のハウジングを有する、請求項1~3のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1のハウジングは、第1の受け具内に摺動可能に設けられ、前記第1のハウジングは、前記第1の受け具内におけるその相対位置を調節することによって横方向に沿って位置的に調節可能である、請求項4記載の監視装置。
- 前記第2のハウジングは、第2の受け具内に摺動可能に設けられ、前記第2のハウジングは、前記第2の受け具内におけるその相対位置を調節することによって横方向に沿って位置的に調節可能である、請求項5記載の監視装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクス組立体の少なくとも一部分は、前記第1のバンドまたは前記第2のバンドの一部分を形成するコンパートメント内に収容されている、請求項2に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1のバンドと前記第2のバンドとの間の前記一定の距離は、1.5~6インチ(3.81~15.24cm)から2~4インチ(5.08~10.16cm)の範囲である、請求項2に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1または前記第2の変換器アレイのうちの少なくとも一方は、長さが0.5~4インチ(1.27~10.16cm)から1~2.5インチ(2.54~6.35cm)の範囲である、請求項1~8のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1または前記第2の変換器アレイのうちの少なくとも一方は、5~30個の独立変換器素子、8~25個の独立変換器素子、または12~20個の独立変換器素子を含む、請求項1~9のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1または前記第2の変換器アレイのうちの少なくとも一方は、1.5MHz~7MHzの範囲、または2MHz~5MHzの範囲の周波数で超音波を発生させるよう構成されている、請求項1~10のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 各変換器素子は、送信器および対応の受信器を含む、請求項1~11のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記送信器は、前記第1の変換器アレイの一方の側で整列し、前記受信器は、前記第1の変換器アレイの逆の側で整列している、請求項12記載の監視装置。
- 前記送信器および前記受信器は、ブロック上に位置決めされ、前記ブロックは、前記送信器および前記受信器が角度の付けられた表面上に載るよう角度が付けられている、請求項12または13記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1および前記第2の変換器アレイは各々、圧電材料の層を含む、請求項1~14のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記第1および前記第2の変換器アレイは各々、前記第1および前記第2の変換器アレイを前記ユーザの体肢に音響結合するとともに前記監視装置が着用されたときに前記体肢を絶縁する音響的に透明な材料の層を含む、請求項1~15のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記音響的に透明な材料は、ゲルパッドである、請求項16記載の監視装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクス組立体は、前記監視装置を1つまたは2つ以上の外部コンピュータシステムに通信可能に結合するよう構成された通信モジュールを含む、請求項1~17のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記通信モジュールは、ブルートゥース(Bluetooth)機能を含む、請求項18記載の監視装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクス組立体は、運動センサを含む、請求項1~19のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクス組立体は、前記第1または前記第2の変換器アレイのうちの少なくとも一方に関し、前記変換器アレイ内に設けられていて超音波エネルギーを送信する送信器素子の特定のサブセットを決定するよう構成されたマイクロプロセッサを含む、請求項1~20のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- 前記エレクトロニクス組立体は、前記第1または前記第2の変換器アレイのうちの少なくとも一方に関し、前記変換器アレイ内に設けられていて反射された超音波信号を得る受信器素子の特定のサブセットを決定するよう構成されたマイクロプロセッサを含む、請求項1~21のうちいずれか一に記載の監視装置。
- ある動脈距離(arterial distance)を渡るパルス通過時間を算定する方法であって、前記方法は、
請求項1~22のうちいずれか一に記載のウェアラブル監視装置を用意するステップと、
前記ウェアラブル監視装置をユーザ上に作動可能な位置で位置決めするステップと、
前記ウェアラブル監視装置を作動させて1つまたは2つ以上のパルス通過時間測定値を得るステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記ウェアラブル監視装置は、前記ユーザの上腕上に位置決めされる、請求項23記載の方法。
- 前記ウェアラブル監視装置は、前記第1および前記第2の変換器アレイが前記ユーザの上腕動脈に隣接して内腕上に位置するよう位置決めされる、請求項24記載の方法。
