Claims (9)
- 幅方向に配列された複数のパターンを有する行パターンが長さ方向に複数配列されており、各パターンには二進値のいずれかが割り当てられているメジャーを使って、長さを計測する計測器であって、
第1の行パターンを読み取る第1読取手段と、
前記第1の行パターンから長さ方向に所定行離れた第2の行パターンを読み取る第2読取手段と、
前記第1読取手段で読み取られた前記第1の行パターンに前記第2読取手段で読み取られた前記第2の行パターンを加えた複数桁のパターンからコードを生成する生成手段と
を備えることを特徴とする計測器。 - 前記メジャーに含まれる、前記長さ方向に二進値が割り当てられたパターンが交互に並ぶ列パターンを読み取る第3読取手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の計測器。
- 前記複数桁のパターンと長さのデータとの対応関係を示す第1情報を格納する格納手段と、
前記生成手段で生成されたコード及び前記第1情報に基づいて、測定対象の長さを算出する算出手段と
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の計測器。 - 前記複数桁のパターンと長さのデータとの対応関係を示す第1情報と、前記第1読取手段が前記第1の行パターンと重なる基準位置から前記メジャーが1つのパターンの長さの1/N(N:2以上の整数)ずつ前記長さ方向にずらされたそれぞれの状態における前記列パターンの読取値を示す第2情報とを格納する格納手段と、
前記生成手段で生成されたコード及び前記第1情報に基づいて、前記メジャーの始点から前記基準位置までの第1の長さを算出し、前記第3読取手段による前記列パターンの読取値及び前記第2情報に基づいて、前記基準位置からの前記メジャーの前記長さ方向のずれ量を算出し、前記第1の長さ及び前記ずれ量に基づいて測定対象の長さを算出する算出手段と
を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の計測器。 - 前記第1の行パターンに前記第2の行パターンを加えた前記複数桁のパターンと、当該複数桁のパターンに前記長さ方向に隣接する他の複数桁のパターンとのハミング距離が1であり、前記複数桁のパターンは全ての複数桁のパターンの中で1つのみであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の計測器。
- 幅方向に配列された複数のパターンを有する行パターンが長さ方向に複数配列されており、各パターンには二進値のいずれかが割り当てられたメジャーを使って、長さを計測する計測器であって、
第1の行パターンを読み取る第1読取手段と、
前記第1の行パターンから長さ方向に所定行離れた第2の行パターンを読み取る第2読取手段と、
前記長さ方向に並ぶ列パターンを読み取る第3読取手段と
を備え、
前記第3読取手段は、分解能が1つのパターンの長さの1/N(N:2以上の整数)の場合に2×N個設けられており、前記長さ方向に沿って2個ごとに前記1つのパターンの長さの1/Nだけ間隔が離れて配置されていることを特徴とする計測器。 - 幅方向に配列された複数のパターンを有する行パターンが複数長さ方向に配列されたメジャーであって、
各パターンには二進値のいずれかが割り当てられており、
第1の行パターンに、前記第1の行パターンから前記長さ方向に所定行だけ離れた第2の行パターンを加えた複数桁のパターンと、当該複数桁のパターンに前記長さ方向に隣接する他の複数桁のパターンとのハミング距離が1であり、
前記複数桁のパターンは全ての複数桁のパターンの中で1つのみであり、
二進値のいずれかが割り当てられたパターンが前記長さ方向に交互に並ぶ列パターンをさらに備えることを特徴とするメジャー。 - 幅方向に配列された複数のパターンを有する行パターンが長さ方向に複数配列され、各パターンには二進値のいずれかが割り当てられており、第1の行パターンに、前記第1の行パターンから前記長さ方向に所定行だけ離れた第2の行パターンを加えた複数桁のパターンと、当該複数桁のパターンに前記長さ方向に隣接する他の複数桁のパターンとのハミング距離が1であり、前記複数桁のパターンは全ての複数桁のパターンの中で1つのみであるメジャーを用いる計測器の計測方法であって、
前記複数桁のパターンと長さのデータとの対応関係を示す第1情報をメモリに格納し、
前記第1の行パターンを読み取り、
前記第2の行パターンを読み取り、
前記読み取られた第1の行パターンに前記読み取られた第2の行パターンを加えた複数桁のパターン、及び前記メモリに格納された第1情報に基づいて、測定対象の長さを算出することを特徴とする計測器の計測方法。 - 読取手段が前記第1の行パターンと重なる基準位置から前記メジャーが1つのパターンの長さの1/N(N:2以上の整数)ずつ前記長さ方向にずらされたそれぞれの状態における前記列パターンの読取値を示す第2情報を前記メモリに予め格納し、
実際に読み取られた列パターンの読取値と、前記メモリに格納された第2情報とに基づいて、前記基準位置からの前記メジャーの前記長さ方向のずれ量を算出することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の計測器の計測方法。
