Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle front structure.
In some conventional vehicle front structures, a plate-like first electronic unit mounting bracket is integrally provided on the upper surface of a column unit mounting bracket on the front side of the vehicle, and a first electronic unit, which is another electronic unit, is mounted on the upper surface of the first electronic unit mounting bracket (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The dash panel in the conventional vehicle front structure has a bulging portion that bulges rearward of the vehicle body so as to be close to the first electronic unit.
However, in the above-described conventional vehicle front structure, only a small gap is formed between the bulging portion of the dash panel and the first electronic unit. Therefore, when a load directed from the front to the rear of the vehicle is applied to the dash panel in the event of a frontal collision, there is a possibility that the bulging portion of the dash panel hits the electronic unit and is broken due to displacement of the dash panel toward the rear of the vehicle.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and its object is to provide a vehicle front structure capable of preventing failure of an electronic unit by suppressing deformation of the second member and the fifth member to which the electronic unit is attached, by cooperating the first member and the fourth member connected to the vehicle body panel and the second member and the fifth member connected to the first member and the fifth member to absorb the impact load even if the impact load toward the rear of the vehicle is applied to the vehicle body panel on the front side of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision. .
上記従来技術の有する課題を解決するために、本発明は、車両幅方向に沿って架設され、車体側部に取付けられるステアリングサポートメンバと、前記ステアリングサポートメンバに取付けられ、前記ステアリングサポートメンバから車両前方に延びて車両前方側の車体パネルに連結される第1部材と、前記第1部材と車両上面視で重なるように設けられ、前部と後部それぞれが前記第1部材に固定されている車両前部構造において、前記第2部材の下面に電子ユニットが取付けられている。 In order to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, the present invention provides a vehicle front structure including: a steering support member that is installed along the width direction of the vehicle and attached to a side portion of the vehicle body ; a first member that is attached to the steering support member and extends forward of the vehicle from the steering support member and is connected to a vehicle body panel on the front side of the vehicle;
As described above, the vehicle front structure according to the present invention includes a steering support member that is installed along the vehicle width direction and has both left and right ends in the vehicle width direction attached to a vehicle body side portion, a first member that is attached to the steering support member, extends forward of the vehicle from the steering support member and is connected to a vehicle body panel on the front side of the vehicle, and a second member that is provided so as to overlap the first member when viewed from the top of the vehicle. An electronic unit is attached to the member.
That is, in the vehicle front structure of the present invention, even if an impact load directed from the front of the vehicle to the rear of the vehicle is applied to the vehicle body panel on the front side of the vehicle at the time of a frontal collision, the first member connected to the vehicle body panel and the second member connected to the first member cooperate to absorb the impact load. Therefore, deformation of the second member to which the electronic unit is attached can be suppressed to the maximum extent, and failure of the electronic unit can be effectively prevented.
In addition, in the vehicle front structure of the present invention, the two members, the first member and the second member, work together to exert a function of stretching the vehicle body panel on the front side of the vehicle. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the displacement of the vehicle body panel toward the rear of the vehicle, further prevent failure of the electronic unit due to collision with the vehicle body panel, and improve the reliability of the electronic unit.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention will now be described in detail based on the illustrated embodiments. In the drawings, the direction of arrow Fr indicates the front of the vehicle, and the direction of arrow U indicates the upper direction of the vehicle.
[First embodiment]
1 to 5 show a vehicle front structure according to a first embodiment of the invention. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, a steering support member 1 is installed along the vehicle width direction in the upper front portion of the vehicle interior R, and both left and right ends in the vehicle width direction are attached to vehicle body side portions (not shown). A second member 6 is provided so as to overlap when viewed from the top of the vehicle, and a front portion 6a and a rear portion 6b of the second member 6 are fixed to the first member 5, respectively. An electronic unit 7 such as a coupler, a controller, various sensors, and an antenna is attached to the second member 6 .
The steering support member 1 of the present embodiment is made of a pipe-shaped member, and is arranged inside an instrument panel 8, which is a large-sized resin molded part on which various fittings are installed. In addition to supporting the instrument panel 8, it supports a steering column, a steering wheel, and the like (not shown) on the driver's seat side. Further, the reinforcement 4 is attached to the surface of the cowl top panel 2 on the inner side of the passenger compartment R in order to reinforce the connecting portion between the first member 5 and the cowl top panel 2 . Furthermore, an air conditioning duct 81 is arranged inside the instrument panel 8 .
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5, the first member 5 in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment is arranged on the vehicle upper side of the second member 6, and extends between the steering support member 1 and the cowl top panel 2 in the vehicle front-rear direction from the steering support member 1. A front portion 5 a of the first member 5 is joined to the cowl top panel 2 via a reinforcement 4 , and a rear portion 5 b of the first member 5 is joined to the steering support member 1 . In addition, the first member 5 has flange portions 51a that are bent downward at substantially right angles on both left and right sides of the main body portion 51 in the form of a flat plate. Moreover, the first member 5 has a curved portion 52 formed in a portion located on the vehicle rear side relative to the rear end 7a of the electronic unit 7, and the curved portion 52 is formed in a curved shape protruding upward from the vehicle.
By providing the curved portion 52 at such a position, when an impact load is input to the first member 5 at the time of a frontal collision, the curved portion 52 becomes a starting point of deformation and the first member 5 is deformed.
On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5 , the second member 6 in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment is arranged on the vehicle lower side of the first member 5, and includes a first fixing portion 61 fixed to the front portion 5a of the first member 5, a main body portion 62 extending from the first fixing portion 61 toward the rear of the vehicle while being inclined toward the vehicle lower side, a bending portion 63 bending so as to rise from the rear end portion 62a of the main body portion 62 toward the first member 5, and a bending portion. A second fixing portion 64 is provided at the end portion 63 a of the portion 63 on the side of the first member 5 and fixed to the rear portion 5 b of the first member 5 . That is, the second member 6 is shorter on the vehicle rear side than the first member 5 and is formed to fit within the range of the first member 5 in the vehicle front-rear direction. In addition, the second member 6 has flange portions 62b that are bent substantially at right angles upward on both left and right sides of a flat plate-like body portion 62, and the first fixing portion 61 extends upward from the vehicle toward the front portion 5a of the first member 5 from the flange portions 62b of the body portion 62. The electronic unit 7 is fixed to the lower surface of the main body portion 62 of the second member 6 using fasteners such as bolts 70 and nuts 71 .
Moreover, the bent portion 63 of the second member 6 is provided between the curved portion 52 of the first member 5 and the steering support member 1 in the vehicle front-rear direction as viewed from the side of the vehicle. As a result, the bent portion 63 of the second member 6 is positioned further to the rear of the vehicle than the curved portion 52 of the first member 5. When an impact load is input to the first member 5 and the second member 6 at the time of a frontal collision, the bent portion 63 of the second member 6 deforms after the curved portion 52 of the first member 5 deforms, and the curved portion 52 of the first member 5 can also absorb the impact load.
1 to 3 and 5, the vehicle front structure of this embodiment has a third member 9 attached to the steering support member 1 and extending from the steering support member 1 toward the second member 6. The front portion 9a of the third member 9 has a third member surface portion 91 facing the second member 6 side, and the rear portion 6b of the second member 6 has a second member surface portion 65 arranged to face the third member surface portion 91, and the second member surface portion 65 and the third member surface portion 91 are formed in a flat surface shape that can be superimposed. Moreover, the second member 6 and the third member 9 are connected by being joined while the second member surface portion 65 and the third member surface portion 91 are overlapped. Therefore, the second member surface portion 65 and the third member surface portion 91 come into surface contact, and the third member 9 efficiently transmits the impact load from the second member 6 at the time of frontal collision, thereby suppressing the deformation of the second member 6 to the maximum. In addition, even if a load is applied to the cowl top panel 2 toward the rear of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision, the first member 5 directly transmits the load to the steering support member 1, and the second member 6 transmits the load to the steering support member 1 via the third member 9, thereby further suppressing deformation of the second member 6 to which the electronic unit 7 is attached.
The front portion 9 a of the third member 9 is formed in a horizontal V-shaped planar shape, and the upper side is configured as a third member surface portion 91 . Left and right sides of the third member 9 have flange portions 92 that are bent downward at substantially right angles, and the rear portion 9b of the third member 9 is attached to the steering support member 1 by joining the rear end portion of the flange portion 92 to the outer peripheral surface of the steering support member 1.
1 to 3, the vehicle front structure of this embodiment has a bridge portion 53 extending from the first member 5 toward the second member 6 and connected to the second member 6. As shown in FIGS. The bridging portion 53 extends downward from the flange portion 51a from two front and rear locations on both the left and right sides of the body portion 51, merges at one location on the second member 6 side, and has a predetermined length in the vehicle front-rear direction on the second member 6 side. On the other hand, the second member 6 extends from both left and right sides of the main body portion 62 toward the upper side of the vehicle than the flange portion 62b, and is formed in a shape having a predetermined length in the vehicle front-rear direction. The electronic unit 7 is provided at a position overlapping the connecting portion B where the bridging portion 53 and the second member 6 are connected when viewed from the top of the vehicle.
Due to the presence of this bridging portion 53, when a load is input, the rigidity against deformation such that the first member 5 and the second member 6 approach each other is improved, and the deformation of the second member 6 to which the electronic unit 7 is attached is suppressed.
As described above, the vehicle front structure according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes: a steering support member 1 that is installed along the vehicle width direction and has both left and right ends in the vehicle width direction attached to the vehicle body side portions; 6b are fixed to the first member 5 respectively. An electronic unit 7 is attached to the second member 6 of the present embodiment.
Therefore, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, even if an impact load toward the rear of the vehicle is applied to the cowl top panel 2 on the front side of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision, the first member 5 connected to the cowl top panel 2 and the second member 6 connected to the first member 5 work together to absorb the impact load. Moreover, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the first member 5 and the second member 6, which are provided so as to overlap each other when viewed from the top of the vehicle, work together to support the cowl top panel 2 on the front side of the vehicle so that displacement of the cowl top panel 2 toward the rear of the vehicle can be suppressed.
In addition, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the first member 5 has the curved portion 52 formed in a portion located on the vehicle rear side relative to the rear end 7a of the electronic unit 7. Therefore, when an impact load is input to the first member 5 at the time of a frontal collision, the curved portion 52 becomes a starting point of deformation and the first member 5 is deformed. Moreover, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the curved portion 52 is arranged behind the electronic unit 7 in the vehicle, so that the deformation of the curved portion 52 can minimize the influence of the deformation of the electronic unit 7 on the electronic unit 7, and the failure prevention effect of the electronic unit 7 can be further enhanced.
Further, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the second member 6 has a first fixing portion 61 fixed to the front portion 5a of the first member 5, a main body portion 62 extending rearward of the vehicle from the first fixing portion 61, a bent portion 63 bent from a rear end portion 62a of the main body portion 62 toward the first member 5, and a second fixed portion 64 provided at an end portion 63a of the bent portion 63 on the first member 5 side and fixed to the rear portion 5b of the first member 5. are Further, the bent portion 63 of the second member 6 is provided between the curved portion 52 of the first member 5 and the steering support member 1 when viewed from the side of the vehicle.
Therefore, according to the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, when an impact load is input to the first member 5 and the second member 6 at the time of a frontal collision, the bent portion 63 of the second member 6 is deformed after the curved portion 52 of the first member 5 is deformed.
The vehicle front structure of this embodiment also has a third member 9 attached to the steering support member 1 and extending from the steering support member 1 toward the second member 6 . The third member 9 has a third member surface portion 91 facing the second member 6 side, while the second member 6 has a second member surface portion 65 arranged to face the third member surface portion 91 . The second member 6 and the third member 9 are connected by being joined together in a state in which the second member surface portion 65 and the third member surface portion 91 are overlapped.
Therefore, according to the vehicle front portion structure of the present embodiment, the second member surface portion 65 and the third member surface portion 91, which are the connecting portions of the second member 6 and the third member 9, are in surface contact, so that the impact load input from the second member 6 in the event of a frontal collision can be efficiently transmitted to the steering support member 1 by the third member 9, and deformation of the second member 6 to which the electronic unit 7 is attached can be suppressed to the maximum. Moreover, according to the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, even if an impact load directed toward the rear of the vehicle is generated on the cowl top panel 2 at the time of a frontal collision, the first member 5 transmits the impact load to the steering support member 1, and the second member 6 can transmit the impact load to the steering support member 1 via the third member 9. Therefore, deformation of the second member 6 to which the electronic unit 7 is attached can be effectively suppressed, and the failure prevention effect of the electronic unit 7 can be further enhanced.
The vehicle front structure of the present embodiment includes a bridging portion 53 extending from the first member 5 toward the second member 6 and connected to the second member 6. Since the electronic unit 7 is provided at a position where the bridging portion 53 and the second member 6 are overlapped with the connecting portion B when viewed from the top of the vehicle, when a load is input, the rigidity against deformation such that the first member 5 and the second member 6 approach each other is improved, and the deformation of the second member 6 to which the electronic unit 7 is attached is prevented. Therefore, it is possible to obtain the effect of preventing the failure of the electronic unit 7 .
[Second embodiment]
6 and 7 show a vehicle front structure according to a second embodiment of the invention. Note that the same reference numerals are given to the same parts as those described in the above-described first embodiment, and redundant descriptions are omitted. Also, members corresponding to those described in the first embodiment are denoted by reference numerals A, and different points will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, in the vehicle front structure of the second embodiment, instead of the first member 5, the second member 6 and the third member 9 of the first embodiment, a fourth member 5A, a fifth member 6A and a sixth member 9A are used as corresponding members. A rear portion 6b of the fifth member 6A in the second embodiment is fixed to a front portion 9a of a sixth member 9A extending forward of the vehicle from the steering support member 1, and the sixth member 9A is connected to the fifth member 6A. Therefore, the front portion 9a of the sixth member 9A has a sixth member surface portion 91A facing the fifth member 6A side, and the rear portion 6b of the fifth member 6A has a fifth member surface portion 65A arranged to face the sixth member surface portion 91A.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the fifth member 6A in the present embodiment includes a fourth fixing portion 61A fixed to the front portion 5a of the fourth member 5A, a main body portion 62 extending rearward of the vehicle from the fourth fixing portion 61A, and a fifth fixing portion 64A located at the rear end portion 62a of the main body portion 62 and fixed to the front portion 9a of the sixth member 9A. In addition, the fourth fixing portion 61A and the main body portion 62 of the fifth member 6A are connected via a bending portion 66 that extends rearward of the vehicle and curves downward toward the rear of the vehicle.
The bent portion 66 is formed in a curved shape protruding upward of the vehicle, has a structure with high strength against the load to the rear of the vehicle generated in the event of a frontal collision, and has the effect of suppressing the displacement of the cowl top panel 2 to the rear of the vehicle. Moreover, the presence of the curved portion 66 having such a shape ensures a clearance, which is the space S in the vehicle front-rear direction, between the electronic unit 7 attached to the fifth member 6A and the cowl top panel 2 (including the reinforcement 4).
Further, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the cowl top panel 2 of the present embodiment has a projecting portion 21 that projects toward the rear of the vehicle, and the projecting portion 21 is configured to improve the rigidity of the cowl top panel 2 against the impact load in the event of a frontal collision. Moreover, the electronic unit 7 is provided below the lower end 21 a of the projecting portion 21 in the vehicle. Thus, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the electronic unit 7 and the protruding portion 21 of the cowl top panel 2 are positioned so as not to overlap when viewed from the front of the vehicle.
As described above, in the vehicle front structure of the second embodiment of the present invention, the steering support member 1 is installed along the vehicle width direction, and both left and right ends in the vehicle width direction are attached to the vehicle body side portions. a is fixed to the fourth member 5A. An electronic unit 7 is attached to the fifth member 6A.
Further, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the sixth member 9A is attached to the steering support member 1 and extends from the steering support member 1 toward the front of the vehicle. The sixth member 9A is connected to the fifth member 6A.
Therefore, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment as well, effects similar to those of the vehicle front structure of the first embodiment can be obtained.
Furthermore, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the fifth member 6A has a fourth fixing portion 61A fixed to the front portion 5a of the fourth member 5A, a main body portion 62 extending rearward of the vehicle from the fourth fixing portion 61A, and a fifth fixing portion 64A located at the rear end portion 62a of the main body portion 62 and fixed to the front portion 9a of the sixth member 9A. The fourth fixing portion 61A of the fifth member 6A and the main body portion 62 are connected via a bent portion 66 that extends rearward of the vehicle and curves downward toward the rear of the vehicle.
Therefore, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the fifth member 6A has the bent portion 66 that has a high strength against the load to the rear of the vehicle that occurs in the event of a frontal collision. Moreover, the bent portion 66 of the present embodiment curves downward toward the rear of the vehicle, making it possible to secure a clearance between the electronic unit 7 and the cowl top panel 2 in the vehicle front-rear direction. Therefore, the workability of mounting the electronic unit 7 can be improved, and the allowable level of displacement of the cowl top panel 2 in the vehicle front-rear direction can be increased.
In addition, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the cowl top panel 2 of the vehicle body panel has the protruding portion 21 that protrudes toward the rear of the vehicle, so that the rigidity of the cowl top panel 2 against the impact load at the time of a frontal collision can be improved. Therefore, according to the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, displacement of the cowl top panel 2 toward the rear of the vehicle in the event of a frontal collision can be suppressed, and failure of the electronic unit 7 due to collision with the cowl top panel 2 or the like can be prevented.
Moreover, in the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the electronic unit 7 is provided below the lower end 21a of the projecting portion 21 in the vehicle, and is arranged at a position where the electronic unit 7 and the projecting portion 21 of the cowl top panel 2 do not overlap when viewed from the front of the vehicle. Therefore, a sufficient clearance can be secured between the electronic unit 7 and the cowl top panel 2 or the dash panel 3, and failure of the electronic unit 7 due to collision with the cowl top panel 2 or the like can be more effectively prevented.
In the vehicle front structure of the present embodiment, the bridging portion 53 extends from the fourth member 5A toward the fifth member 6A and is connected to the fifth member 6A. Since the electronic unit 7 is provided at a position where the bridging portion 53 and the fifth member 6A overlap with the connecting portion B when viewed from the top of the vehicle, the same effects as those of the vehicle front structure of the first embodiment can be obtained.
