Description
The present invention relates to a molding apparatus.
熱溶解積層法(以下、FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling)またはFFF(Fused Filament Fabrication)と略す)を用いる3Dプリンタは、近年低価格化が進んでおり、コンシューマ向けにも浸透している。 3D printers are becoming popular as devices for high-mix low-volume production of molded objects without using molds or the like. 3D printers using the Fused Deposition Modeling (hereinafter abbreviated as FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) or FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication)) have been getting cheaper in recent years and have become popular among consumers. In order to prevent the strength of the three-dimensional structure from decreasing in the stacking direction, a technique of roughening the surface of the layers and stacking them is known.
However, when the surface of the modeling material layer is roughened in order to improve the adhesiveness between the modeling material layers, there is a problem that the visibility of the modeled object is lowered.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a modeling apparatus that forms a modeling material layer using a modeling material and laminates the modeling material layers to form a model, wherein the first model is formed using the modeling material. and a pressurizing means for heating and pressurizing the modeling material layer of and discharging the modeling material to the heated and pressurized first modeling material layer to form a second modeling material layer, and a discharging means for laminating the second modeling material layer on the first modeling material layer.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, it is effective in the ability to prevent the deterioration of the visibility of a model, improving the adhesiveness between modeling material layers.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lower end of the
In this embodiment, the
The support material discharged from the second discharge nozzle is usually a material different from the filaments of the model material that constitutes the three-dimensional model. The support part formed by the support material is finally removed from the model part formed by the model material. The filaments of the support material and the filaments of the model material are each melted in the

The
The

Next, processing and operations of the three-
The
The
The
In step S12, the temperature of the
The
FIG. 6 is a diagram schematically explaining the operation of the tap nozzle in one embodiment. According to one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, after the filament is ejected, tapping is performed on a predetermined location of the modeled object, so that the layers between the tapped layer and its lower layer, and between the lower layer and its further lower layer are tapped. Adhesion is improved, and the strength between layers of the modeled product is improved.
If it is determined YES in step S13, the
After the formation of the outermost layer is completed, the

<<<Modification A of Embodiment>>>
Next, the points of modification A of the embodiment that differ from the above-described embodiment will be described. FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram illustrating the operation of pressing a layer with a

<<<Modification B of Embodiment>>>
Next, the points of modification B of the embodiment that differ from modification A of the embodiment will be described. FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram illustrating the operation of pressing a layer with a

<<<Modification C of Embodiment>>>
Next, regarding modification example C of the embodiment, points different from the above-described embodiment will be described. FIG. 10 is a schematic diagram showing an operation of forming a layer with a discharge nozzle while heating a lower layer with a heating plate in one embodiment.
In embodiment variant C, the
According to the modification C of the embodiment, the surface of the layer is roughened by physically pressing the heating plate 28' against it, and then the next layer is laminated, so that the dispensed material and the material of the lower layer are well mixed. By mixing, the adhesion of the interface is improved. Further, according to the modified example C of the embodiment, it is possible to improve the adhesion at the interface by selectively remelting the layers without destroying the outer shape of the modeled object and performing the next ejection before curing. .
<<<Modification D of Embodiment>>>
Next, the points of modification D of the embodiment that differ from modification C of the embodiment will be described. FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram showing an operation of forming a layer by a discharge nozzle while heating a lower layer by a heating plate in one embodiment.

Next, regarding modification D of the embodiment, points different from the above-described embodiment will be described. FIG. 12 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a three-dimensional modeling apparatus according to one embodiment.

<<main effects of the embodiment>>
The three-dimensional modeling apparatus 1 (an example of the modeling apparatus) of the above-described embodiment forms modeling material layers using filaments as modeling materials, and laminates the layers to form a modeled object. According to the modification C of the embodiment, the surface of the lower layer is roughened by physically pressing the heating plate 28' against the lower layer and applying pressure. As a result, when the upper layer is formed, the contact area between the lower layer and the upper layer is increased, so that the adhesion between the lower layer and the upper layer is improved.
According to embodiment variant C, the heating plate 28' is positioned lower than the upper edge of the lower layer. In this way, by intentionally arranging the heating plate 28' at a position interfering with the lower layer, the lower layer can be reliably heated while being pressurized.
The three-
The three-
