- カード型デバイスと接続されるコネクタであって、
第1コンタクト列、第2コンタクト列、第3コンタクト列、ベース部材及びカバーを備えており、
前記ベース部材には、前後方向における一方の端部にヒンジ機構が設けられており、
前記カバーは前記ヒンジ機構を用いて前記ベース部材に移動可能に取り付けられており、
前記第1コンタクト列、前記第2コンタクト列及び前記第3コンタクト列は、前記前後方向において前記ヒンジ機構から遠い順に並ぶように、前記ベース部材に保持されており、
前記第1コンタクト列、前記第2コンタクト列及び前記第3コンタクト列の夫々は、複数のコンタクトを有しており、
前記第1コンタクト列及び前記第2コンタクト列の前記コンタクトの夫々は、前記ベース部材に保持される被保持部と、接点と、前記被保持部から延びて前記接点を支持するばね部とを有しており、
前記第1コンタクト列の前記コンタクトの前記接点と前記第2コンタクト列の前記コンタクトの前記接点とは、前記前後方向において互いに向かい合っており、
前記カバーが開位置にあるとき、前記前後方向と直交する上下方向に沿って見たとき、前記接点と前記ばね部とは視認可能である
