Description
The present invention relates to transport systems, and more particularly to transport systems having a conveyor on which loads are transported.
2. Description of the Related Art A transport system for loading goods into racks in an automated warehouse is known (see Patent Literature 1).
The transport system described in
Conveyors are also known that deliver loads directly to automated warehouse racks. Such a conveyor has, for example, a portion downstream in the conveying direction arranged inside the rack and an upstream portion in the conveying direction arranged outside the rack as a loading section for the load. Then, for example, when a forklift places a load on the conveying direction upstream portion of the conveyor, the conveyor carries the load into the rack.
In the case of the conveyor described above, the upstream portion of the conveyor in the conveying direction protrudes greatly from the rack, and as a result, the conveying path for detecting the state of the cargo becomes long. Specifically, the conveyor should be at least twice as long as the load in the conveying direction.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to shorten the transport path required to detect the state of a load in a transport system.
A plurality of aspects will be described below as means for solving the problem. These aspects can be arbitrarily combined as needed.
A conveying system according to one aspect of the present invention includes a conveyor, a first detection section, a second detection section, a controller, and a notification section.
The conveyor has first and second regions aligned in a conveying direction and having overlapping portions for conveying loads from the first region to the second region.
The first detection unit is provided at a position where only the second area is positioned in the conveying direction, and detects an abnormal packing appearance at the front end of the goods conveyed from the first area.
The second detection unit is provided at a position where only the first area is positioned in the conveying direction, and detects an abnormal packing appearance at the rear end of the cargo conveyed to the second area.
The controller determines detection results of the first detection section and the second detection section.
The notification unit notifies the abnormality when the first detection unit and/or the second detection unit detects the abnormal packing.
The first detection unit and the second detection unit are, for example, various sensors such as photoelectric sensors, and cameras.
Anomalies in packing appearance include, for example, loading at the front and rear ends, loading in the width direction, and height abnormalities.
The abnormality notification is, for example, one or a plurality of actions such as stopping the transportation of the cargo, returning it to the upstream side in the transportation direction, issuing an alarm, and the like.
In this transport system, the first detection section is provided downstream in the transport direction, and the second detection section is provided upstream in the transport direction. Since the first area and the second area are aligned in the conveying direction and have overlapping portions, the conveying path necessary for detecting the front and rear of the load can be shortened. In other words, the conveyor can be less than twice the length of the load by strategically mounting the sensors and partially overlapping the first and second regions.
A load may be transported on the load support member.
The first detector may have a first sensor and a second sensor. A first sensor detects the load support member. A second sensor detects the load.
The controller determines whether or not the load is detected by the second sensor at the timing when the load support member is detected by the first sensor.
The second detector may have a third sensor and a fourth sensor. A third sensor detects the load support member. A fourth sensor detects the load.
The controller determines whether or not the load is detected by the fourth sensor at the timing when the load support member is no longer detected by the third sensor.
The notification unit detects the load by the second sensor at the timing when the load supporting member is detected by the first sensor and/or the load supporting member is detected by the fourth sensor at the timing when the load supporting member is no longer detected by the third sensor. If a load is detected, an anomaly may be reported.
In this conveying system, by detecting a load (deviation from the load reference position with respect to the load support member), it is possible to stop the transport of the loaded load, for example. As a result, it is possible to prevent an abnormality from occurring in the transport of the load further downstream in the transport direction.
The transport system may further comprise a fifth sensor.
The fifth sensor is located between the first detection section and the second detection section in the conveying direction, is positioned only in the second area, and is positioned inside the first detection section in the width direction. good too.
The fifth sensor may be provided with an optical axis extending in the vertical direction to detect the load.
The reporting unit may report the abnormality when the load is detected by the fifth sensor.
In this conveying system, the fifth sensor is provided inside the first detection section in the width direction. Therefore, if the load in the width direction (deviation from the load reference position with respect to the load support member) is detected by the fifth sensor, the load will collide with the first detection section by, for example, stopping the transport of the load. can be prevented. This is particularly effective when the installation position of the first detector is restricted in the width direction.
The second detector may be arranged downstream in the transport direction from the center of the first area in the transport direction in the first area.
In this transport system, the second detector can reliably detect the upstream portion of the load in the transport direction. This is because, if the load is correctly placed on the first area, the upstream portion of the load in the conveying direction will be positioned upstream in the conveying direction from the second detector.
The transport system may further comprise a sixth sensor. The sixth sensor may be provided at the upstream end of the conveyor in the conveying direction and detect the load when the load is placed on the conveyor.
If the load is not detected by the sixth sensor when the load is placed on the conveyor, the controller causes the conveyor to move the load upstream in the conveying direction, and then move the load downstream in the conveying direction. You can move it to the side.
In this transport system, for example, when a load is placed on the downstream side in the transport direction from a predetermined position on the conveyor by a forklift, the load is moved upstream in the transport direction and then moved downstream in the transport direction. Therefore, the upstream portion of the load in the conveying direction can be reliably detected by the second detection section.
The first detector may be arranged upstream in the transport direction from the center of the second area in the transport direction in the second area.
In this transport system, the downstream portion of the load in the transport direction can be reliably detected by the first detector. This is because, if the load is correctly placed on the first area, the downstream portion of the load in the conveying direction is positioned upstream in the conveying direction with respect to the first detector.
In the conveying system according to the present invention, the conveying route required for detecting the state of the cargo can be shortened.

(4) Warehousing Control Operation of Warehousing Station The warehousing control operation of the warehousing station will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 5 is a flow chart showing the warehousing control operation of the warehousing station. 6 to 9 are schematic front views of the receiving station.
The control flow chart described below is an example, and each step can be omitted or replaced as needed. Also, a plurality of steps may be executed simultaneously, or some or all of them may overlap.
Furthermore, each block in the control flow chart is not limited to a single control operation, and can be replaced with a plurality of control operations represented by a plurality of blocks.
The operation of each device is the result of commands from the control section to each device, and these are expressed by each step of the software application.
At step S<b>1 , the
At step S2, the
In step S<b>11 , the
In step S<b>3 , the
At step S4, the
In step S5, the
In step S6, the
In step S7, the
At step S8, the
In step S<b>9 , the
In step S10, various kinds of abnormality processing are performed. For example, the
During the transport operation, the
