Description
-再構築される画像はスパース(又は圧縮可能)表現を受け入れなければならない。言い換えれば、分解係数の極一部分だけが厳密スパース性に関して非零となる又は圧縮性に関して零より著しく大きくなるように画像を所定ベース(例えばウェーブレットベース)で分解することが可能でなければならない。通常、雑音含有信号の場合、係数はその絶対値が雑音基準偏差に少なくとも等しくなければ零より著しく大きいと考えられる。代替的に、係数の所定部分(最大絶対値を有するもの)だけが維持され得る。例えば係数の上位1%だけが維持され得、100の圧縮係数をもたらす。
-再構築は、画像表現のスパース性を促進する非線形方法だけでなく取得されるサンプルとの整合性も使用して行われなければならない。
-k空間は、疑似ランダムパターンに従って、取得を加速するためにアンダーサンプルされなければならない。アンダーサンプリングは、信号取得の回数を低減し、したがって、必要とされる加速度を与え、一方、疑似ランダム性は、スパース表現においてサブサンプリング・アーティファクトが非干渉性である(すなわち、無相関化される又は雑音状である)ということを保証する。この非干渉性は、極めて重要であり、スパース(例えばウェーブレット)及び感知(例えばCS-MRIにおけるフーリエ)ベースで採取される要素の任意の対間の相関度を評価する。
-何人かの著者はランダム摂動を「標準」(スポーク、螺旋...)軌跡内に導入することを提案してきた。例えば[Bilgin et al,2008];[Wang et al,2012]を参照。
-文献[Chauffert et al,2014]は、サンプリング点を所望確率分布に従ってランダムに描くことと、連続的軌跡を取得するために巡回セールスマン問題を解決することによりこれらのサンプリング点を接続することとを提案している。この手法の欠点は、各角度点が傾斜を停止すること、したがって取得期間を延長することを必要とするので、連続性が2D軌跡の十分条件(上記参照)ではないということである。
-文献[Boyer et al,2016]は、標的サンプリング分布の一組の「許容」2D(又は3D)曲線(すなわち傾斜磁場及び対応スルーレートの値に関する制限を超えることなく取得可能な軌跡を表すすべての曲線)上への投影に基づくさらにより有望な手法を開示する。この方法は「SPARKLING」(Segmented Projections Algorithm for K-space sampLING)と呼ばれる。
a.方向(縦方向と呼ばれる)に沿って配向された静的であり且つほぼ一様な磁場(縦方向磁場と呼ばれる)内に人体を浸漬する工程と;
b.前記人体内の核スピンを励起するようにされた少なくとも1つの無線周波パルスを前記人体へ送信する工程と;
c.前記無線周波パルス又は各前記無線周波パルス後に、k空間内の非パラメトリック軌跡を規定する時変傾斜磁場を前記人体へ印加し、励起された核スピンにより発射される磁気共鳴信号のサンプルを同時に取得する工程であって、各サンプルは前記軌跡に属するk空間の点に対応し、サンプルに対応するk空間の点はk空間の疑似ランダムサンプリング(所定サンプリング密度に従う)を規定する、工程と;
d.前記人体の磁気共鳴画像を再構築するために、取得されたサンプルへスパース促進非線形再構築アルゴリズム(sparsity-promoting nonlinear reconstruction algorithm)を適用する工程であって、
少なくともk空間の中央領域では、同じ軌跡に属する任意の2つの隣接点間の距離は1/FOV未満である、ここでFOVは被写体の再構築された画像の視界のサイズである、工程。
-興味のある容積内でほぼ一様であり且つ方向(縦方向と呼ばれる)に沿って配向された静磁場(縦方向磁場と呼ばれる)を生成するのに好適な第1のコイルと;
-前記興味のある容積内で時変傾斜磁場を生成するのに好適な一組の傾斜磁場コイルと;
-前記興味のある容積内で無線周波パルスを生成するのに好適な少なくとも1つの無線周波数コイルと;
-このような方法を行うために、前記傾斜磁場コイル及び1つ又は複数の前記無線周波数コイルを駆動するように、並びに1つ又は複数の前記無線周波数コイルにより受信された信号を取得及び処理するように構成又はプログラムされた制御ユニットと、を含む磁気共鳴映像装置(又は「スキャナ」)である。

Claims (6)
- 人体の核磁気共鳴撮像を行う方法であって、
a.縦方向と呼ばれる方向(z)に沿って配向された静的であり且つほぼ一様な磁場(B0)内に前記人体(BD)を浸漬する工程であって、磁場(B0)は、縦方向磁場と呼ばれる、浸漬する工程と;
b.前記人体内の核スピンを励起するようにされた複数の無線周波パルス(RFP)を前記人体へ送信する工程と;
c.各前記無線周波パルス後に、k空間内のそれぞれの非パラメトリック軌跡(ST)を規定する時変傾斜磁場(Gx,Gy)を前記人体へ印加し、前記励起された核スピンにより発射される磁気共鳴信号のサンプルを同時に取得する工程であって、各サンプルは前記軌跡に属する前記k空間の点(Ki,KS)に対応し、前記サンプルに対応する前記k空間の前記点は前記k空間の疑似ランダムサンプリングであって、所定サンプリング密度に従う疑似ランダムサンプリングを規定する、工程と;
d.前記人体の磁気共鳴画像を再構築するために、スパース促進非線形再構築アルゴリズムを、前記取得されたサンプルへ適用する工程であって;前記画像は2次元、3次元又は4次元アレイの画素により形成される、工程と、を含む方法において、
-前記k空間内の非パラメトリック軌跡の数は前記アレイの一方向に沿った画素又はボクセルの数より少なく、それぞれの非パラメトリック軌跡は、前記サンプルがそれにそって取得されるそれぞれの無線周波パルスに従い、;

- 前記一組の離散的押し出し測度は、その最大振幅及び最大スルーレートがそれぞれの限度を超えない時変傾斜磁場に対応する前記k空間内のすべての連続的軌跡上で定義された押し出し測度により構成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記工程dは、前記取得されたサンプルに応じて非線形スパース促進判断基準を最適化することにより前記人体の磁気共鳴画像を再構築する工程であって、前記最適化は近位方法を使用して行われる工程を含む、請求項1乃至3に記載の方法。
- 磁気共鳴映像装置を使用して行われる請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、工程c)中に、k空間内の非パラメトリック軌跡(ST)を定義する時変傾斜磁場(Gx,Gy)を前記人体へ印加する前記工程は前記磁気共鳴映像装置の最小傾斜ラスタ時間を使用して行われる、方法。
- -興味のある容積内でほぼ一様であり且つ縦方向と呼ばれる方向に沿って配向された静磁場(B0)を生成するのに好適な第1のコイル(LC)であって、静磁場(B0)が縦方向磁場と呼ばれる、第1のコイル(LC)と;
-前記興味のある容積内で時変傾斜磁場を生成するのに好適な一組の傾斜磁場コイル(CGx,CGy,CGz)と;
- 前記興味のある容積内で無線周波パルスを生成するのに好適な少なくとも1つの無線周波数コイル(TC)と;
-請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の方法を行うために、前記傾斜磁場コイル及び前記1つ又は複数の無線周波数コイルを駆動するように、並びに1つ又は複数の前記無線周波数コイルにより受信された信号を取得及び処理するように構成又はプログラムされた制御ユニット(CU)と、を含む磁気共鳴映像装置。
