Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
When riding a motorcycle equipped with a manual shift transmission, it is often necessary to raise the shift pedal with the toe of the left foot when changing gears.
For this reason, in the case of specially designed riding shoes, the part of the instep that hits the shift pedal is reinforced by overlapping reinforcing pieces.
On the other hand, looking at the actual situation of motorcycle users, even when riding a motorcycle that requires a change shift, they do not necessarily wear special riding shoes when riding.
Rather, in many temporary use of the motorcycle, after getting off the vehicle, for example, shopping or other walking activities are often taken, and it is also possible to use and operate the motorcycle in general sneakers or business shoes, etc., to suit that. many.
In such a case, of course, when performing a change-shift operation, the shift pedal is operated with the toe side of the shoe, and damage to that portion is inevitable.
For this reason, conventionally, shift pads, which are shoe protectors that cover the upper surface of general shoes in front of them, have been commercially available (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, these conventional products focus solely on the function of protecting the shoes against the change-shift operation when getting in the vehicle, and little consideration is given to usability when walking after getting off the vehicle. As a result, conventional shift pads tend to come off the shoes after walking a few steps or several meters, and some products have warning signs to remove them immediately after getting off the vehicle and walking. .
In addition, many of the conventional ones require a structure for attaching the protector to the shoe side when the protector is attached, and lack versatility.
The present invention has been made in consideration of such prior art, and even if the user starts walking with the shift pad attached to the shoes after getting out of the vehicle, the shift pad may come off. The technical task is to develop a shift pad that allows natural walking without any slippage and allows natural change-shift operation even when riding.
That is, the shift pad according to
Further, the shift pad according to
In addition to the above requirements, the shift pad according to
In addition to the above requirements, the shift pad according to claim 4 is characterized in that the holding belt has a sole piece on the lower surface of the shoe sole side portion.
In addition to the above requirements, the shift pad according to claim 5 is characterized in that the protective pad main body is made of natural leather, and two pieces of natural leather are used as a pad main body element, and are bound together with their binding surfaces facing up. It is characterized by the fact that it is
The above problems are solved by means of the inventions described in these claims.
First, according to the first aspect of the invention, the protective pad body includes the upper surface protective portion against which the shift pedal contacts and the curved shape-retaining portion connected thereto. A sense of unity with the shoes is secured, and as a result, the operation feeling of the shift pedal is good.
In addition, since the holding belt is wrapped around the shoe at the constricted portion of the shoe sole, it is out of the position where the tip of the shoe kicks out even when walking, and is securely locked at the constricted portion. The shift pad never comes off.
According to the second aspect of the invention, the projecting portion is located inside the center of the shoe and is provided at a portion that comes into contact with the shift pedal the most, thereby effectively protecting the shoe.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the shift pad as a whole is formed in an annular shape when viewed in the front-rear direction, and since the holding belt is configured to expand and contract, the shift pad can be attached to the shoe simply by fitting it on the outside. It is easy to use because it can be operated by putting it on.
Further, according to the fourth aspect of the invention, the holding belt may hit a step or the like when riding, but the presence of the sole piece effectively protects the holding belt.
Further, according to the fifth aspect of the invention, the pad body is made of two layers of natural leather, and the lining surface is lapped face up. It becomes a state that prevents warping and has excellent shape retention.
Although the best mode of the shift pad of the present invention is as shown below, it is also possible to add appropriate changes to this mode within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention.
Hereinafter, the shift pad of the present invention will be specifically described based on the illustrated embodiments.
First, the outline of the
Specifically, as shown throughout the drawings, the
In this specification, the front of the

When each portion including the band-
Since the dashed lines C1 and C2 change somewhat according to the shape of the shoe to be worn, etc., the diagram shows a state in which they are overlapped at the boundaries.
The protective pad
Furthermore, the belt-
For example, when the
Further, the material constituting the protective pad
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, upper and lower two-ply
By the way, the reason for this is that natural leather tends to warp because the facing side Sa has a tendency to shrink more than the back side Sb. This is because it is preferable in terms of suppressing each other and maintaining a flat plate shape.
In order to hold the
Needless to say, the protective pad
Next, the holding
Further, a
Both ends of the belt
The
First, when the protective pad
At this time, the holding
When the

When the shift pedal P is operated in such a state, the upper

On the other hand, when getting off the motorcycle MC and moving on to walking, the holding
Such a slip-off function is firstly brought about by the holding
By the way, in the conventional product, the holding belt was wound around the toe portion of the sole 12, so the kicking action was as if the shift pad was taken off. It had come off so that it could be taken off by walking.
