Abstract
1A new joint structure is provided that absorbs torsional force acting on a pipe, for example, a flexible tube, and eliminates the risk of damage to the pipe with a simple structure. A seal ring (70) of a fourth joint member (16) is fitted into an annular groove (31) of a first joint member (13), and a cylindrical outer peripheral surface of the first joint member (13) is a second joint member (14). The inner thread 63 of the third joint member 15 is screwed into the outer thread 32 of the first joint member 13 and the outer thread 50 of the second joint member 14. combined. This allows the first joint member 13 to rotate relative to the second joint member 14 around the central axis of the joint structure. Therefore, even if a twist occurs in a pipe (for example, a flexible tube) connected to the joint structure, the twist is absorbed by the relative rotation between the first joint member and the second joint member. Description
The present invention relates to a joint structure for connecting pipes. In particular, the present invention relates to a joint structure that absorbs torsion of piping such as flexible tubes. The present invention also relates to piping equipment that absorbs torsion in piping.
The flexible tube can be used, for example, when connecting two pipes whose central axes are offset (offset connection), when connecting two pipes whose central axes are shifted by 90 degrees (L-shaped connection), and in parallel It is a very convenient connection mechanism that is used when connecting two arranged pipes (U-shaped connection). Due to their convenience, many flexible tubes are used in order to ensure flexibility of piping in chemical plants and the like having a large number of piping facilities.
On the other hand, changes in the environment in which the flexible tube is placed (for example, changes in the temperature of the fluid flowing inside the flexible tube and the temperature around the flexible tube), and changes in the temperature of the fluid flowing inside the piping to which the flexible tube is connected When the length of the flexible tube or the position of the pipe connected to the flexible tube changes due to changes in flow rate, pressure, or the like, a twisting force is generated in the flexible tube. This torsional force repeatedly acts on the welded portion of the flexible tube or the like, which may cause fatigue fracture.
As one method for solving this problem, it is conceivable to connect a rotary joint to the flexible tube and allow the rotary joint to absorb the torsion acting on the flexible tube.
However, rotary joints are structurally complex and therefore expensive.
Therefore, the present invention provides a new structure that absorbs torsional force acting on a pipe, for example, a flexible tube, with a simple structure, and eliminates the risk of excessive force acting on the pipe and damage to the pipe due to that force. Aimed at providing a joint structure

According to the joint structure of the embodiment configured in this way, even if twisting occurs in the pipe (for example, flexible tube) connected to the joint structure, the twisting is caused by the first joint member and the second joint member. It is absorbed by the relative rotation with the joint member, and no excessive force acts on the piping or the like. Therefore, damage to piping etc. can be prevented.

[Assembly to flexible tube assembly]
The

On the other hand, another tubing connection (not shown) is connected to the distal side of the
According to the

[Assembly to flexible tube assembly]
The
According to the
[Twisting absorption of flexible tube]
In this state, for example, when a torsional force around the central axis of the
