弁体の回転によって弁の開閉操作を行うバタフライバルブであって、
弁体と、弁胴と、弾性体から形成されたシート部材と、を備え、
記弁体と前記弁胴との間に取り付けられる前記シート部材は、その外周面に嵌合隆起を有し、
前記シート部材の外周面と当接する前記弁胴の内周面には、前記嵌合隆起が嵌合する嵌合溝が設けられ、
前記嵌合溝の内部には、前記シート部材の変形を逃がすための逃がし溝が更に設けられている、バタフライバルブ。
