Description
本出願は、2019年4月2日に出願された「エアロゾル送達デバイスの為の認証と年齢確認(AUTHENTICATION AND AGE VEFIRICATION FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE」という名称の米国仮特許出願第62/828,222号に対する優先権を主張する、2019年5月17日に出願された「エアロゾル送達デバイスの為の認証と年齢確認(AUTHENTICATION AND AGE VEFIRICATION FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE)」という名称の米国特許出願第16/415,460号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、これら夫々の開示内容全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

付記1のシステムは、
ユーザの年齢を確認するように構成された年齢確認システムと、
前記ユーザにエアロゾルを提供する、バッテリを含むエアロゾル送達デバイスと、
充電アクセサリとを備え、前記充電アクセサリは、前記充電アクセサリがロック解除された時に前記エアロゾル送達デバイスのバッテリに充電を行うように構成され、前記ユーザが前記年齢確認システムで認証された時に前記充電アクセサリがロック解除される。
付記2のシステムは、付記1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記充電アクセサリが前記年齢確認システムと通信することにより前記ユーザが認証される。
付記3のシステムは、付記2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記充電アクセサリは更に、前記年齢確認システムとの通信の為に構成された認証回路を備えている。
付記4のシステムは、付記1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記充電アクセサリは、前記バッテリを充電する為に前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電源を結合する。
付記5のシステムは、付記4に記載のシステムにおいて、前記充電アクセサリと結合されたホストデバイスを更に備え、前記ホストデバイスは、ネットワークを介して前記年齢確認システムとの通信を提供し、更に前記ホストデバイスは、前記電源を備えている。
付記6のシステムは、付記5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記年齢確認システムが前記ホストデバイスと結合されるネットワークを更に備えている。
付記7の充電アクセサリは、
エアロゾル送達デバイス用の充電アクセサリであって、
前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力を供給する為に、電源から電力を受け取り、前記エアロゾル送達デバイスと結合するように構成された電力インタフェースと、
ユーザの年齢確認を受け取るように構成された認証回路であって、前記年齢確認がないと前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力が供給されない、認証回路と、
を備える。
付記8の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記認証回路は、年齢確認時に前記電源から前記エアロゾル送達デバイスへの間の前記電力インタフェースを介して電力用の電流を接続するように構成されたスイッチを備え、更に、前記スイッチは、前記年齢確認が失敗した場合に前記電力インタフェースを介して電力用の電流を接続しない。
付記9の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記年齢確認は、ネットワークを介して年齢確認システムと通信することを含む認証を含む。
付記10の充電アクセサリは、付記9に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記認証は、パワーサイクル毎に要求され、前記ユーザの前記年齢確認を参照する。
付記11の充電アクセサリは、付記9に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、パワーサイクル毎に行われる前記認証が、前記ユーザが初期年齢確認操作からのものであることを確認するように、識別ドキュメンテーションを用いて前記初期年齢確認操作が行われる。
付記12の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記年齢確認は、ユーザの初期年齢確認を含み、そのユーザの後続の認証を含む。
付記13の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記初期年齢確認は、前記ユーザと年齢との関連付けを含み、その結果、前記後続の認証は、前記ユーザとの関連付けを認証する要求を含む。
付記14の充電アクセサリは、付記13に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記初期年齢確認は購入時に行われ、前記後続の認証は使用中に行われる。
付記15の充電アクセサリは、付記12に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記充電アクセサリは、前記後続の認証の為の生体認証センサを備え、前記生体認証センサは顔認識又は指紋分析を含む。
付記16の充電アクセサリは、付記12に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記後続の認証の為の前記顔認識又は前記指紋分析は、前記ユーザの前記初期年齢確認からの保存データと比較する。
付記17の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記充電アクセサリは充電ケーブル又は充電ケースを備えている。
付記18の充電アクセサリは、付記13に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記電源はホストデバイスを含む。
付記19の充電アクセサリは、付記18に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記ホストデバイスは、前記年齢確認に関してネットワークを介して前記年齢確認システムと通信するように構成されている。
付記20の充電アクセサリは、付記18に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記ホストデバイスは、電気パルス又はデータパルスを介して前記充電アクセサリと通信するように構成されている。
付記21の充電アクセサリは、付記7に記載の充電アクセサリにおいて、前記エアロゾル送達デバイスが、エアロゾルを生成する為に液体を加熱する為のバッテリを備え、更に、前記バッテリを充電する為に、前記充電器アクセサリから前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力が供給される。
付記22の方法は、
年齢制限付きデバイスで充電アクセサリを操作する方法であって、
ユーザの年齢確認を受け取るステップと、
前記年齢確認が認証された場合に、前記年齢制限付きデバイスに電流を接続するステップと、
前記年齢確認が認証されていない場合、前記充電アクセサリが前記年齢制限付きデバイスと結合されている時に電流が前記年齢制限付きデバイスに提供されることを阻止するステップと、を含む。
付記23の方法は、付記22に記載の方法において、ネットワークを介して、前記ユーザの前記年齢確認を受け取る為に年齢確認システムと通信するステップを更に含む。

Claims (24)
- ユーザの年齢を確認するように構成された年齢確認システムと、
前記ユーザにエアロゾルを提供する、バッテリを含むエアロゾル送達デバイスと、
充電アクセサリとを備え、前記充電アクセサリは、前記充電アクセサリがロック解除された時に前記エアロゾル送達デバイスのバッテリに充電を行うように構成され、前記ユーザが前記年齢確認システムで認証された時に前記充電アクセサリがロック解除される、システム。 - 前記充電アクセサリが前記年齢確認システムと通信することにより前記ユーザが認証される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記充電アクセサリは更に、前記年齢確認システムとの通信の為に構成された認証回路を備えている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記充電アクセサリは、前記バッテリを充電する為に前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電源を結合する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記充電アクセサリと結合されたホストデバイスを更に備え、前記ホストデバイスは、ネットワークを介して前記年齢確認システムとの通信を提供し、更に前記ホストデバイスは、前記電源を備えている、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記年齢確認システムが前記ホストデバイスと結合されるネットワークを更に備えている、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- エアロゾル送達デバイス用の充電アクセサリであって、
前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力を供給する為に、電源から電力を受け取り、前記エアロゾル送達デバイスと結合するように構成された電力インタフェースと、
ユーザの年齢確認を受け取るように構成された認証回路であって、前記年齢確認がないと前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力が供給されない、認証回路と、
を備えた充電アクセサリ。 - 前記認証回路は、年齢確認時に前記電源から前記エアロゾル送達デバイスへの間の前記電力インタフェースを介して電力用の電流を接続するように構成されたスイッチを備え、更に、前記スイッチは、前記年齢確認が失敗した場合に前記電力インタフェースを介して電力用の電流を接続しない、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記年齢確認は、ネットワークを介して年齢確認システムと通信することを含む認証を含む、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記認証は、パワーサイクル毎に要求され、前記ユーザの前記年齢確認を参照する、請求項9に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- パワーサイクル毎に行われる前記認証が、前記ユーザが初期年齢確認操作からのものであることを確認するように、識別ドキュメンテーションを用いて前記初期年齢確認操作が行われる、請求項9に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記年齢確認は、ユーザの初期年齢確認を含み、そのユーザの後続の認証を含む、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記初期年齢確認は、前記ユーザと年齢との関連付けを含み、その結果、前記後続の認証は、前記ユーザとの関連付けを認証する要求を含む、請求項12に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記初期年齢確認は購入時に行われ、前記後続の認証は使用中に行われる、請求項13に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記充電アクセサリは、前記後続の認証の為の生体認証センサを備え、前記生体認証センサは顔認識又は指紋分析を含む、請求項12に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記後続の認証の為の前記顔認識又は前記指紋分析は、前記ユーザの前記初期年齢確認からの保存データと比較する、請求項15に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記充電アクセサリは充電ケーブル又は充電ケースを備えている、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記電源はホストデバイスを含む、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記ホストデバイスは、前記年齢確認に関してネットワークを介して年齢確認システムと通信するように構成されている、請求項18に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記ホストデバイスは、電気パルス又はデータパルスを介して前記充電アクセサリと通信するように構成されている、請求項18に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 前記エアロゾル送達デバイスが、エアロゾルを生成する為に液体を加熱する為のバッテリを備え、更に、前記バッテリを充電する為に、前記充電アクセサリから前記エアロゾル送達デバイスに電力が供給される、請求項7に記載の充電アクセサリ。
- 年齢制限付きデバイスで充電アクセサリを操作する方法であって、
ユーザの年齢確認を受け取るステップと、
前記年齢確認が認証された場合に、前記年齢制限付きデバイスに電流を接続するステップと、
前記年齢確認が認証されていない場合、前記充電アクセサリが前記年齢制限付きデバイスと結合されている時に電流が前記年齢制限付きデバイスに提供されることを阻止するステップと、を含む方法。 - ネットワークを介して、前記ユーザの前記年齢確認を受け取る為に年齢確認システムと通信するステップを更に含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記年齢確認は、前記ユーザが確認された年齢を有するか否かに関する情報を含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
